Chapter 453: At Her Disposal!

Chris gritted his teeth as he saw Nat walking out of that building holding the girl’s hands who had killed his men.

“Natalie! You would regret this.” he grinded his teeth hard to the limit that his whole body ached. “I will still give you a chance!” He called for her. He could not believe that he had trusted a woman for the first time only to be betrayed! He would not accept it.

The woman flinched under his gaze and he slowly relaxed. That was right! The woman could not leave him. She was pregnant with his child.

“You do not need to look at him.” he scowled at the brown head again with daggers in his eyes.

“You!” He took a step forward and many more guns were pointed at him. To hell with them.

“This is blatant kidnapping, Alric Spencer! Are you going against me?” he glared at the man who was abusing his powers.

Alric paused. There was a sweet smile on his face. Christ’s hands itched to punch him. But these days, he has lost a lot of his wealth and power. It was not the good time to go against this man. But he could not let go of Nat! She knew way too much to be left and she had his son!

“Did you marry her?” Alric asked mildly as if they were having a pleasantry conversation. Chris narrowed his eyes.

“I was about to marry her once she gave birth. I could not marry a pregnant woman.” he looked back at the girl with fake emotions. By hook or crook, all he wanted was that woman.

Nat froze in her place looking appalled by the idea. The thought made Chris frown. Was the girl not indebted to him because he saved her from hell?

“Have you ever accepted his confession or proposal, Natalie? Do you want to stay here?” the woman shook her head hard as if she was afraid that they would miss it.

“Never! I never intend to marry him. He had abused me and tried to kill me many times. Just yesterday he forced me to drink soup mixed with his urine in it. I.. I will never be with him.” the woman shuddered just thinking about it. Chris frowned.

“Nat! It was a joke. I didn’t do it.” but the girl did not listen to him. He gritted his teeth when she looked away.

“The message is clear, Benard. I am taking the girl under my wings. If you have the ability, come and get her.” That was a blatant challenge.

“It is against rules, Spencer! I would inform others.” Alric smirked looking at him as if he was a child crying that his toy was broken.

“Be my guest!” he waved his hands. The brown head held Nat and they walked away. Chris watched with red eyes and dark faces as the woman ran away after shitting on his face.

He had never been this humiliating in this life. But more than that, that woman was walking a timebomb. She knew too much. He should have killed her when he had the chance.

“Do you not know any other line except we all regret it?” after destroying everything, Alric gave him a bored smile. Every cell in his body wanted to beat Alric to the limit that he could not recognize his own face.

But Chris knew that he could not go against Alric. Not now!

“The matter did not end here!” He warned before waving his hands and walking away with his men. Chris could feel his whole body burning. Even the back of his hands were shivering with hatred.

“Chris Benaerd! I will destroy every single hope of yours until you come begging for death. You made a mistake touching my wife!” Chris stiffened for a second. And then he shook his head. Alric did not have any proof that he attacked Nora in the parking lot.

“This is all a misunderstanding created by that little bitch. I only wanted to marry her but she targeted me and now she is using you as her pawn? Could you not see? She could have never destroyed her family without your help. Think about it Mr Spencer!” This was his last bargain, his last chance to open the eyes of this man. “If you give me some time, I will bring you proof.” Chris hated that his voice was begging. He could feel the heat of the states of his men. He knew that he was losing their trust, but if this could save his life and his power, he was ready for the bargain.

But why was this man so unpredictable! Alric just smirked looking amused.

“What is so wrong if my woman is using me as her pawn? I am always at his disposal.”

“…..” Chris wanted to punch this man but all he could do was stare as Alric laughed and left. His men following him and Chris could finally breathe and feel the heat of his loss. The heat of humiliation and his own fury!

“Alric Spencer!” he cursed hard.

“Boss! Are we going against the Spencer family?” Chris paused as he could hear doubt in their voice. His face hardened again.

“Does it matter? You are my men. If I ask you to fight, you will.” he did not wait to hear their reply. But he could see their reluctance as they nodded and left.

Chris stood there alone with a dark face. His mother noticed the men leaving and came to his side.

“Son! That is my grandchild. You must bring that woman back and keep her here until she gives birth.” Chris ran a hand in his hair. “Are you afraid! Why would a man fight over a woman with you? You should…”

“Do you think it is that easy! It could all be tricky, mother! It is better that you forget that woman for now. I have some urgent matters to deal with. So stay at home and do not do anything funny!” he warned her before leaving.
