Even if those girls are needy, Alric could not understand their submission. Suddenly he was proud that he was dating a woman like Nora who had backbone.

“I am not here to go shopping.” the words burnt his throat, yet Alric spat them, “I am here for you, Mr spencer.”

“You could not decide that easily.” he waved his hand and the girls came forward with a bright smile on their face, their eagerness to please him was no less than reptiles coiling on his body. He picked up the glass from the table and threw it toward them.

They all stopped as the glass shattered beneath their feet just when they were going to take a step forward.

They all stood there, stunned. Not sure if they should continue walking or not. When a brave girl still took a step forward, Alric picked up the vase and met her eyes.

“This time, it would not land on your feet.” only a fool would ignore his warning. The woman froze at her place looking at the secretary for guidance.

Alric could finally breathe. He knew that his father was crazy. But he had never thought he was a psychopath and sadist too.

“You have lost your mind completely.” he scowled.

“Tsk! You are feeling nauseated toward these girls. Yet you have kidnapped someone’s toy from his own house. Do you enjoy snatching Alric? I remember your first girlfriend was dating Jhonson’s baby too when you took her.” The man looked at Alric as if he was finally understanding and Alric wanted to throw the vase as his father did.

“I am not interested in natalie!” he gritted his teeth. It took every cell in him to stop himself from flipping the table. “He was abusing her, I have saved her.”

“….” Mr Spencer raised a brow, looking amused by his son’s excuse.

“Alric, there would be millions if not billions of girls who had been suffering from abuse in our country. Are you going to save every single one of them? Do you think you are a savior? A superhero of the modern world. Don’t give me that bullshit.” Alric gave up. He knew that he could not explain the worth of a woman to this degrading animal who did not have humanity in him.

“Chris Benard is a sinking ship. I could use his girlfriend to drown him completely.” Alric talked business. “And i do not care about your shallow rules where you can forced a woman to pleasure your friends while you are fucking her but you can not save an abused woman from your competitor.” he snapped, barely holding his patience. “If you want to come to me to save her, you can try. But you know I do not give up once I determine something.” Steve Spencer looked at Alric with disapproval again. But when Alric did not waver he sighed.

“Forget about Benard then. He would disappear tonight and would never be able to complain about rules again.” Steve SPencer smiled back as if getting rid of Chris was nothing more than swatting a fly away. “I heard from Ava that you are planning to get married. I want to add more spice to your bachelor life. But if you do not want it, it’s your loss.

The company and shares of Chris Benard, transfer it to Spencer group.” the man spoke in a smiling tone as if he was doing a favor on Alric.

Alric wanted to laugh loudly and so he did. But his father was not embarrassed at all.

“You do not want another round of gossip, right? I will handle this matter tactfully.” Alric shook his head. He did not care about those bunch of loss making companies but he knew Nora wanted them to complete her revenge.

“I have gifted them to my wife as our wedding gift.” he lied, earning a look from Mr spencer.

“You are giving business to a woman? Alric, women should be gifted diamonds.” he frowned.

“But I can give you this.” Alric took out a paper containing the list of corrupt officers in the government. Chris had used them to increase his business. “I heard that you are planning to be mayor. Perhaps this could help.” Steve finally smiled and relaxed.

“You are going to support me, son?” to his shock, Alric nodded. He had to bink again to confirm that he was not dreaming.

“It will benefit my business too. Tell me if you need any help.” he shrugged, bringing a smirk on Mr Spencer’s face.

“Then you should actively flaunt our family. Donate some amount here and there. I will send someone to write a story about your donated parts of the hospital too. I will..” the man kept rambling about his future plans to whitewash his image. Alric wanted to laugh many times. The courage of this man stemmed from the ignorance of their country.

“And at last, I want you to join my business too, Alric. Once I die, everything will be distributed between you, Alex and Martin.” alric paused and frowned.

“Who is martin?” He had heard this name for the first time.

“Ah! Ava did not tell you?” The man looked puzzled, “I found Martin six months ago. He is a brilliant child and had just returned from the States. He is worth nurturing. I have given him a position in the finance department. Go and meet him, you are his elder brother.”
