Chapter 457: Missing The Fun!

Alric had thought the desire to vomit could not be stronger but now.. He could not even explain it in words.

“Alex knows?”

“Why? Yes! They both are working together in the finance department.” the man beamed. “Only you are missing the fun.” Alric would be glad to miss this kind of fun forever.

His father did not even know how many sons and daughters he had all over the world. How many of his seeds were spread. He felt abhorred just by the idea.

“Oh do not give me that look, i have checked the paternity test of course. His mother told me that she was worried I would not accept him, that was why she did not bring Martin early. But the child is very considerate. He did not complain or blame his mother or me. He just accepted it and is now working diligently. I am thinking of giving him company when he graduates.” the man beamed.

Alric stood up. His patience had finally snapped. He could not stand here anymore.

“Alric, i will go and meet them. I will go for lunch at home too.”He took hasty steps toward the door when he found the secretary waiting there with a file in her hands. She looked at him worriedly. He would have believed that she was waiting for his father to call her and the file belonged to his father but Mr SPencer called him again.

“Alric! I want you to sign these papers too.” Alric paused. The woman took the chance to shove the file in his hand and run away as if demons were chasing her. Alric took a deep breath and opened the file patiently.

“You want to own my new hospital?” bafflement filled his face but his father only smirked.

“I kno i am paying you too much for that shitty place. But well, after you give a few interviews and appear like a saint on the screen, I need to add my name well.” The new hospital was the best hospital in the country. But the best thing was, he had divided the whole hospital into two parts. Where a part will serve the rich people like it was a luxurious spa and resort with medical facilities. The other part would help poor people in getting free treatment.

The only condition of admission in this hospital was that every rich man had to sponsor treatment of a poor person. It will also earn an exclusive interview on the tv which will improve his image in the society. The plan was perfect. Nora had made it for him. But she told him it belonged to him in the past.

Something he still finds hard to believe but even if it was only her dreams or anxiety. He was in love with the idea. The large garden, proximity to the mountains make the whole place like a fairytale. He knew this was going to be an immense hit.

“But..”

“I have left ten percent shares for you. Or are you refusing me now.” his father narrowed his eyes. “I can still back up Chris Benard and give him enough strength to trample your underage girlfriend. You know, right?” ALric stiffened. He took out the pen and signed those papers because he knew it was not an empty threat.

His father finally smiled and at some point the secretary had come out from her hiding to take the file from him. She did not meet his eyes. He did not care anymore. He was exhausted. He returned the files to her and went to the elevator when she followed looking reluctant.

He looked at her and she shrunk her head. Where did the other secretary go? Who believed that she was going to be the next Mrs Spencer?

“Sir had asked me to escort you to the finance department sir. He wanted you to meet your brothers.” she did not dare to see his expressions

“Where did the previous secretary go?” The girl was surprised since a hospital was snatched from Alric. She was not expecting him to engage in gossip.

“Ah! Miss Charlotte? She was fired when she slapped master Martin and told him he was just a bastard child and soon she would have one too.” Alric nodded and the elevator stopped.

The finance department was surprised to see Alric too. They looked at him as if they were looking at a ghost but Alric ignored them as the new secratty brought him to the director’s office and knocked on the door.

“Come in!” Alric entered and the secretary returned. A young man with blond hair and European features was working on a file with three lines on his forehead. When no one spoke after the door closed. He raised his head with a frown and was surprised to see Alric standing there.

“Brother!” He stood up at once. “I did not know you were coming.”

“Are you here with your own wish or you have been sold to him?” the man paused, looking stunned by the question.

“I… I may look different but I am his son. We have done a paternity test and..”

“So you want to be here?” Alric cut, his voice was colder as he asked again. The man stiffened not knowing how to reply.

“… y.. Yes!” The voice came breathy but Alric’s expressions only looked relieved. He nodded and then turned and left. The boy looked stunned. He ran toward the door when he returned to his senses and opened the door to call for Alric.

But there was no one in the corridor. He stood there for a long time before going to the manager’s office himself.

“Do you know why Mr Alric Spencer was here?” From the first day he was warned many times to not cross Paths from. He was the favorite child of their father. But he had never thought they would meet so soon.

“We have no idea sir. But Mr Alric had already left.” he noticed how the manager did not add Spencer to the name. Alric refuses to acknowledge his name, and the glory behind it.

“Alright, thank you.”
