“Is it your house?” surprise flashed in her eyes but she ignored it. “A hideout which even your family did not know.”

She looked back at him in time to see a flicker of shock in his eyes too.

“How do you know that?” looking at the shock, a smirk formed on her lips but she shrugged and played cool.

“Well, for the start, this place is too ominous for a billionaire to buy the condo. Society and mostly your mother would frown upon it. But since you have brought a place here, you must have planned to hide it.

Second, there is not good security yet you are offering me to hide here, it must mean this place is protected by your secret men all the time. It is only possible when they live nearby. So you must have used this place as a hideout and secret tasks. But I do not understand why you have shown me such an important place?” why? He was asking himself that too.

“Because I never thought you could guess this much.” he looked away, not sure what kind of expressions he was giving at her.

“Since you know one of my secrets, how about you share one of your secrets with me?” Nora raised a brow but her eyes were guarded at once.

“My secret?” he ignored the defensive tone and nodded.

“Yes, for the start, Why do you want to buy shares of this company? Mojo Ltd. what kind of company it is?” She looked at her empty fingers. The bandages covering the wounds. The wounds that were too severe yet they did not hurt like it had pained her in last life.

“It is a small beverage making company. It will make coffee and other variants. I am fond of these kinds of drinks, which is why I am investing in them. Why this one? Because it’s a new one and the shares would be cheaper. So i can easily afford them.” she shrugged her shoulders and looked out of the window.

Alric stared at her for a long time and when he was sure that she would not indulge him further, he sighed and started the car again.

“I do not expect you to trust me since I do not offer trust to you. So do not think too much. And as long as it is about shares, you should spend on earning shares. You are underestimating the price of your job.” her lips curled deep and he sighed not extending the matter.

The sky was already painted white and blue when they reached the school. Like always, he stopped two lanes away.

“Would you be able to walk?” he asked with a deep frown on his face. His eyes staring at the bandaged on her feet and ankle upto her knees.

“Why? Will you take the risk to leave me at the front door if I can not?” she mocked him, making his eyes narrowed. She closed the door at once. “I am not a child you need to babysit. This is not part of our deal.” she did not look back at him.

He saw her walk away with a complex look on his face. He could feel his pulse rushing whenever she staggered and tried to hold something to keep walking.

At some distance a boy offered her life and she took it and disappeared.

“Ha!” He took out his phone and dialed a number.

“Find the details of a company Mojo Ltd and buy all its aviabole shares.” he cut the call. It only took three minutes to get an email.

He opened the email at once. He had never been this diligent even for his tasks.

His eyes flickered on the detail of the company pausing at the product the company was making.

“The company is only selling mineral water for now.” his voice went grave at once.

The secretary was surprised to receive a call again from Alric related with such a small company, “Fix a meeting with the owner of Mojo Ltd.”

“Nora Stone, you are hiding something from me.”

Nora took in a deep breath when the bike stopped in front of the building. “Thank you, Victor. I would not have come on time if not for you.” she smiled at the young man who sighed and looked at her injured body with worry.

“You should have rested at home. I do not understand why you returned with so many wounds on your body. How did this even happen?” he asked again, he had already asked her thrice but she had ignored the question every time.

“Aah! But I have a test due. And then, I have not taken permission to leave the dorm. You know how they are against me already. I can not give them another chance. Now i should hurry up and collect my books first. See you later.” she smiled and already waved her hands saying goodbye.

“I can not recognize you at all, Nora.” he mumbled as her figure started to gain more and more attention from the crowd as she passed the prayer ground and hallways. Victor shook his head and went to park the bike.

Then he took out the phone and checked the calls. His father had still not called him back. He had given the idea of the video game and the details Nora had given him.

He was expecting a positive answer instantly. But his father looked at the plan with grave eyes and told him that he would think about it first. That was not like his father at all.

How he wanted to give a positive reply to Nora to cheer her.

“Damn! She had said there was a test due. What test was it?” he ran a hand in his hair and sighed. His chocolate eyes looked at the group of girls sitting near the stairs and reading books.

He leaned a bit and asked, “do we have a test due today? Would you mind guiding me a bit about it?”
