Chapter 70: Failed And Embarassed.

Two girls walked forward with the tray of lunch in their hands. They glared at the girls spouting nonsense. “We are all classmates, we should not show our dirty laundry in public. Whatever happened in the class could only be discussed in private.” she lectured the two girls with a deep frown.

The girls scowled at him, but they did not have words to justify their action. With a glare, they left for their table and started eating their lunch. They were still talking to each other but their voices were much slower and people sitting at other tables could not hear them.

The two girls nodded in satisfaction and then went to Nora’s table.

“Hey Nora, why are you sitting alone? Let us accompany you.” the girl smiled sweetly at her. Her smile could have won her many hearts. Especially Nora since she believed she had saved Nora from nasty rumors just now.

“I am afraid it would not be a good idea.” but to her surprise, Nora didn’t even raise her head to greet them. No thank you or anything, she just refused them. What an insult. Her face went red and purple instantly.

“Why not? We are all classmates, we should show unity to each other.” she insisted and sat down. The other girl stared at both of them but she took the seat on the left and sat down.

“We are here to make friends. So much has happened recently. We were worried that you would be overwhelmed. And now that you are injured, you need friends by your side to take care of you.” the girl continued with a smile. She had convinced her friends to join her and so many people were looking at them. There was no way she would give up on her act just because Nora had decided to be uncooperative.

Nora sipped the juice and smiled. The way she looked at them with those dark eyes, the girl paused for a second. She felt like Nora knew their little game. The look of disdain horrified her for a second.

But no! There was no way that Nora would know. She must be wary because of recent events. As long as she could win her trust there for a second. The girl forced a bigger smile on her face.

“It must be painful right? I can’t even imagine how you are able to sit and write exams with only one hand.” the girl continued with a sigh.

By now many had stopped looking at them and enjoying their lunch. But a few eyes were still on Nora. not many knew about her existence before. But now she was in the forums almost every day or one event or other. They were curious and those bandages only flamed that curiosity.

Nora did not move, but she noticed the stares she was receiving a long time ago and this girl was here for no good. She stood up. “I am done, you can continue your meal.” she replied in a blank voice as she stood up but just then, the girl extended her leg and smiled while looking at the girl on her left.

The girl picked up her glass of juice at once. The moment Nora would walk, she would stumble and fall and the glass of juice would accidentally fall on her. If she stayed silent about the incident then they would just leave. But if she tried to accuse them, the whole school would see how she returned the kindness with her viciousness. It would be much better than the first result. Even if they were to suffer, it would be worth it.

It would be difficult for Nora to balance herself with so many injuries. Her eyes glittered with viciousness as she smiled at Nora.

But Nora had long since seen through the plan. When the leg was extended, instead of walking to her left, Nora turned and walked the opposite making both of them frown.

They both exchanged glances in confusion when the first nodded to the other. The girl with the glass of juice in her hands, stood up to bump into Nora. she would make sure that Nora would fall in the process.

But just when she was going to bump into Nora, Nora squatted suddenly. The girl was coming with much force, so she could not change her path at the last moment even when she saw Nora moving away and stumbled after colliding with Nora. But the juice did not fall on Nora. the moment the girl stumbles and falls. Nora took a step on her right.

The girl fell flat on her face. The juice spilled on the floor and soaked in her own clothes. The impact of her fall was strong enough for many to look at her. Nora on the side blinked as she looked at the girl with confusion.

“Are you alright? How did you fall?” the girl gritted her teeth. If not for Nora walking at such a high speed, she did not need to run and lose her balance. But she could not accuse Nora.

Everyone saw that she had bumped into her. But why did she not receive the blow? How dare she move away? But more than that how? Was she not injured? Shouldn’t injured people be slower? Why did Nora change? This was not how she behaved usually.

Her friends come to the girl for help.

“Hey Jenny, are you alright? Come hold me. Everyone is looking at you, this is so embarrassing.” the girl gritted her teeth and stood up.

The juice had covered her white top completely. Soaked with the juice, it was sticking to her body showing the cute kitty bra she was wearing and her body to a good amount since the white top had become seen through after getting wet.

The girl bowed her head in embarrassment but gritted her teeth. It was because of Nora. she would make sure that Nora would pay for it.

“You will regret it!”
