Chapter 73: The Plan Failed

“I have already checked. The cameras are not working.” The girl smiled sweetly but her eyes were cold and sinister. “Since you have a habit of getting injured and accusing others for it. You can do it this time too. I want to see how many will still believe you when you start pointing your fingers on everyone.” The look of arrogance and joy on her face told Nora that the girl had planned it well.

But could a girl plan so much alone?

“Did Penny send you here?” Nora asked without a hint of fear on her soft face. The girl blinked, surprised more by the calm tone than the question she had asked, but then laughed loudly.

“You must have experienced the trauma of your sister or why would you accuse her for everything that happened in your life?” the girl had already walked closer and was standing only two feet away now. She had her hands folded in front of her chest and looked at Nora mockingly. “I am here on my own will. How could you flirt with all the men and still act all innocent. I am disgusted by your presence so i want to teach you a lesson.” as she spoke icily, her hands covered Nora’s shoulders. She was holding her tightly in her grip and leaned her on the window behind her.

She had only come to scare Nora so that she would stay away from Alex and Victor. She had no intention of pushing Nora from the window. But she still pressed her tightly to make it look real.

But Nora did not look scared at all. The smile on her face was full of ridicule and pity making the girl flinch.

“Why? What happened? Are you not pushing me anymore?” Nora provoked the girl without a fear, making the girl tremble with rage.

“Do you think I will not dare? No one would know what happened here.” she screamed in a cold voice, her nails digging deeper into Nora’s shoulder. Nora had the strength to push that girl away. Despite being injured, she could kick this girl and punish her. But she did not do it and stared at the girl deeply.

Her look irritated the girl and she gritted her teeth. She was scared of hurting Nora but in her rage, she did not pay much attention as before.

“You think I will not hurt you?” the girl asked, making Nora smile. Her lips curled up but the smile was enough to leave goosebumps. From the start, she was not scared even a bit. She held the girl’s hands from her shoulder and moved them to her neck.

“If you have courage, strangle me. You are here for it. No?” She was here to scare Nora. she had never planned to hurt her badly. A small slap would be enough as long as Nora would apologize and promise to behave. But when she met the eyes of Nora, she had a feeling that she would not even flinch even if she strangled the girl. Like she had no love for her life or herself. The thought scared the girl. She tried to pull her hands away but could not. Nora was holding them tightly making her eyes widened.

“What are you doing? Let me go!” the girl shouted, startled by her own thoughts.

“Why? I am helping you to do what you want. Did you not come here with the intention of hurting me?” Nora smiled sweetly as if they were good friends and sharing a secret. But her cold voice was enough to leave goosebumps on the girl. She started struggling hard to get free. Nora was crazy, the cold glint in her eyes scared all the wits of the girl.

In the end, Nora asked, “why did you want to hurt me? As long as you reply to it, I will let you go.” The girl did not notice that Nora had started recording on her phone.

“Ha! Victor had been our idol for a long time. He was sweet to everyone but never inclined to one. That is how it should be but you tried to seduce him. Not only that, you have your eyes on Alex too. Both are the gods of the school. How could you touch them?” she snarled but Nora only smiled.

“And the thought of hurting me comes to your mind just like that? Think again, Stella, were you talking to someone about it or heard others talking about it?” the girl frowned. She did not understand the question until she rewinded the whole day in her brain.

“I.. I heard three girls talking about it. It was Hannah, Prudence and Mary.” But what did it change?

“They must have said that they wanted to teach me a lesson.” Nora nodded, understanding the scenario and let her hands go. The girl stumbled too many steps before steadying herself. “And like a fool you were played in their hands. Stella, I have no interest in boys. Either it is Victor or Alex. They are only friends who are helping me in achieving my goal. You do not need to worry about me.” Stella frowned. Did Nora think she would believe her so easily?

But she did not argue, because a minute ago she was scared by Nora’s eyes. She did not want to deal with the girl herself. So using Nora’s words as an excuse, she nodded and left from there.

“Tch! Those who are hiding in the dark had to deal with the matter themselves now. But are they courageous enough?” Nora laughed and left from there.. She had already achieved her goal. But the moment she left, three shadows came out. It was Hannah and her group. They were watching the whole scene hiding behind the door of the storeroom.

They were sure their plan would work since Stella was a short tempered girl who easily believed in other’s words.

“Now how will I explain this to Penny?”
