Chapter 95: Regretted Meeting Her

Many paused. They all glared at Lisa for opening her mouth.

“But it would waste a lot of time!” a few complained but the teacher only frowned and started checking them first. Those who complained were only humiliated. They had a stomach full of anger but they had nowhere to take it off. So they only glared at Lisa and Nora. they were the reason.

“Now, you should stand up too.” Lisa smiled. Though she felt guilty last night, now that guilt has faded. Since Nora had played a trick on them, why could she not play one too.

Nora nodded with a solemn face. She raised her hands and let the teacher check her pockets and desk. She even checked her worksheet. But nothing was found.

“How could that be!” Lisa rushed toward Nora. Although the writing did not match, she had already prepared an excuse that Nora had asked her to write all the important formulas for her. That was why they were in her handwriting.

The teacher frowned and gritted her teeth.

“You are next. Raise your hands.” Lisa was the one who started this ruckus after her friend was pushed. The teacher was getting irritated now. Lisa blinked. But then she had nothing to worry about. She only glared at Nora and raised her head obediently. She would find a way to check Nora later.

The teacher checked her skirt and shirt but nothing was to be found. But when she checked her coat pockets, her eyes narrowed. A page neatly folded came out.

“You! You were complaining so much just to save yourself! I can not believe it.” Even Lisa could not believe it. She was stunned because she knew this paper well.

The teacher opened it and saw all the formulas were written neatly on it and it was Lisa’s handwriting only.

“I can explain this. Nora had asked me to write the formulas for her. I do not know how she did it, but she had put this in my pocket. She wanted to target me.” she pointed at Nora and accused in a cold voice. How she wanted to punch on her and pull her hair.

Nora only looked at Lisa as if she had lost her mind. She did not defend herself but only sighed with regret.

Alex snorted. “Ha! Our class had developed all kinds of trash. First you accuse someone and when you are caught, you still have the nerve to blame others! Scram, I still have an exam to complete.” Lisa gritted her teeth but she did not say a word. She could fight Nora but she could not fight Alex. Even the teacher felt he was too much which made her angry.

And all that anger was lashed on Lisa.

“You should leave or I will call the staff again. I will deal with the two of you later.” Lisa opened her mouth to refuse, but she had learnt from Linda’s case. Complaining was no use.

“But ma’am, I need this. This is my only chance to get admission in a prestigious school.” she begged only to get a harsh glare and return.

“You should have thought about it before cheating. I am ashamed that you are in my class. Now leave before I ask for your expulsion too.” Her harsh voice scared Lisa, but she also felt injustice. She glared at Nora with hatred and left the class.

Penny noticed all the drama with her eyes narrowed. Nora is getting wicked day by day. But Penny was only worried about Benard. Last night, Nora had left an impression on Benard. He had asked about her and that made Penny restless. She had to smear Nora’s image no matter what.

Penny held the pen and concentrated and wrote again. Time passed, the teacher checked many others but found nothing. Only two more boys were sent out for cheating. They did not create ruckus and left silently. The teacher was only looking at Nora after some point.

Her hands moved so smoothly. The teacher had never felt waiting for someone doing an exam could be enchanting. The pen never stopped, as if Nora already knew all the questions asked. But it was impossible! She had kept the exam papers at her home and except her and the principal, no one knew about the question papers.

When the exam ended, the teacher snatched the worksheets and left. Only then did everyone stare at Nora with complex gazes.

“Tsk! So many dogs in the class know how to bark. If only a few of them were brave enough to bite, I would have punished them well.” Alex’s words infuriated them. But he did not take any name, so no one could say anything. If they did, they would only be confirming his words.

Victor also stared at Nora, he hesitated but in the end, he did not come forward. But his eyes were looking at Alex strangely.

He typed something on his phone and left. Nora’s phone rang. She read the message with a smile.

“Stone! Are you going to follow the lover boy out or are you coming with me to the canteen?” Alex had noticed the small interaction. But Nora played dumb. She sat on her seat again.

“I have to study, you can leave.” Alex stared at her for a second before leaving. He never went to the canteen. So many were surprised when he went there. He took an empty table and sat there with his legs on the table. He searched the room only to find Victor standing with a few girls. They have brought gifts for him. He was smiling at them and thanking them.

“Alex! Why did you ask us to return last night. You have promised us a surprise.” Alex finally looked away. A storm brewing in his eyes. When he turned to look at his friends, they gulped and took a step back instinctively.

“Tonight we are going racing. The one who would win against me would get his reward.”
