Rise of the Rejected Luna - Chapter 143
Chapter 143: _Play Things
Blending into the shadows was a specialty I had learned ever since I started practicing magic.
It was a much-needed skill, especially when living among pure-blood werewolves. Their stupid enhanced senses were always a hassle to handle.
Anyway, I used my magic to slip into the pack house while also masking my scent and anything that might get me discovered.
Just thinking about how Kaene and Phoebe were upstairs fucking had me gritting my teeth.
“She isn’t the first woman I’ve slept with. I’ve had fun with my fair share of women.” I muttered to myself, slipping through the grand foyer leading into the large living room.
I could already pick up the scent of werewolves nearby, most definitely maids.
“It’s probably because she’s the first woman I slept with in years.” I clicked my tongue, remembering that fateful night.
The way Phoebe had left her guard down and give her all to me while I fucked her sent a spark of excitement in my head when I remembered it.
My little soldier was still rock hard, waiting for me to find a suitable candidate I could fuck all my sexual frustration into.
“This isn’t fair.” A feminine voice suddenly grumbled from a corner, causing me to pause and stand behind a pillar.
I peeped out of there only to see a maid pulling some bags with her alongside another one who seemed more calm.
What were they doing with bags at this time?
“We deserve this, Mera. We should’ve never said such horrid things about the Luna.” The other maid, who seemed calm, muttered with a despondent tone.
Oh, how interesting.
It seems these two were getting some kind of punishment for insulting Phoebe.
Anyway, I watched them walk past the pillar I hid behind, the first maid just grumbling and cursing under her breath.
When they opened the door and stepped out, my lips curled into a smirk.
Looks like I didn’t have to do much searching for targets.
These two would do just fine.
I blitzed away from the pillar and managed to slip out of the mansion before they could close the door behind them.
But they still didn’t notice me, thanks to the cloaking spell covering me.
“Screw the Luna and what she thinks of us. We were merely stating the truth.” The first maid, Mera, scoffed, causing her friend to panic as she looked around.
Her friend grabbed her by the shoulder and placed her finger in front of her mouth, shushing her. “The guards might hear you. Heck, do you know who could watch us right now and hear what you’re saying? I don’t want any trouble, Mera, please.”
My lips curled into a smirk as I followed behind them while still keeping myself hidden.
They walked out of the compound after speaking to a few guards, Mera still being held by her friend.
That’s until Mera yanked her hand out of her friend’s grip with a scowl on her face. “I’m not a child, Sylvia! Gosh, why did we even decide to leave by this time? It’s late already, can’t we wait till tomorrow?” She kept on complaining.
Eeesh, she was a handful. She also seemed feisty, though not Phoebe-level feisty.
But close enough.
Apart from that, the two girls looked pretty average. They were pretty, with lean and curvy bodies, but not gorgeous.

“That’ll do just fine. It’s just sex, anyway. They should be grateful that I, Negan, even chose them to ease my sexual tension.” I remarked, finally deciding to remove the cloaking spell covering me when they got far away from the Alpha mansion.
They were close to the garden where most of the atrocious activities orchestrated by me happened.
I could do the funniest thing now and have my way with them right here in this garden.
“We had no choice but to go tonight.” The calmer one among the pair sighed, shaking her head. “We had to wait for the rest of our payment for this month to get processed. Gosh, winter is coming. It’s only a matter of days before it starts snowing. How are we going to survive without a job?”
Survival? Hehe… They wouldn’t have to worry about that soon enough.
I snapped my fingers before chanting a spell, causing a thick white fog to slowly start covering the area like a blanket.
The two girls paused in their tracks, glancing at themselves warily.
“What the hell?” Mera cursed, looking around with confusion on her face.
Meanwhile, Sylvia just happened to glance at the ‘cursed garden’ nearby, which also just happened to be the only spot close to them without the fog, and pointed at it.
“There’s a shortcut there. Come on.” She suggested, grabbing Mera by the hand.
However, Mera remained stubbornly rooted to the ground, shaking her head. “Are you out of your mind? Haven’t you heard the rumors about this garden? It’s cursed. I even heard it’s where Brittany killed herself.” She whispered.
Hehehe… Morons. There was nothing ‘cursed’ or haunted about that garden.
The only thing haunting it was me, a fact that these girls would come to discover soon enough.
“Can you quit being superstitious?” Sylvia finally snapped at her friend, her eyebrows furrowing into a frown. “You know what? Stay here. I’m not going to wait around and find out what’s causing this fog.”
Without another word, she ran into the garden with her bags in her hands.
Mera stood there, staring around with fear in her eyes before she also ran, trying to catch up with her friend.
They both finally walked in, slowing their pace when they did.
“I swear to the goddess, if anything happens to us in this garden, I’ll–” Before Mera could finish her statement, the fog outside disappeared and I materialized in front of them.
I kept my gaze lowered to the floor, my lips curled into a sinister smirk before I slowly raised my head to stare at them.
They were startled at first, stopping in their tracks.
“B– Beta Negan?” Sylvia asked out loud, her tone laced with uncertainty.
I tilted my head before taking a step forward, the smirk on my face not disappearing.
“Well, hello, play things.”
