Rise of the Rejected Luna - Chapter 196
Chapter 196: _Negan’s Dream
Negan
~ ~ ~
Everything went dark, and when I opened my eyes, I saw myself in Kaene’s office.
The black and gray themed room with books placed neatly on a shelf and the sofa that sat by the window. I knew the office by heart.
I was on the other side of the table, but not the side I was used to. I was sitting on Kaene’s chair.
I hoped that fool wouldn’t wake from his dream.
It would have made my mission easier, but I didn’t want it to be easy. I wanted him to know that I was the one who put an end to his reign.
It would be an absolute delight to make him watch as I toyed with his precious Phoebe too.
I smiled as I imagined Kaene’s face in horror and despair.
My face instantly morphed into a frown as I realized I had just thought of Phoebe again.
I hated that thought.
The door opened and Rowland walked in, my eyes gleamed in excitement as I saw him. I never thought I would miss him.
He came In with a smile, “You ready?” His voice laced with a tinge of happiness.
My forehead creased in confusion. “Ready for what?” I asked, he eyed me suspiciously as if I were dumb.
“For your speech, I’ve gathered all the pack members, like you requested.” He said slowly, as if I were a child.
Now, this was confusing as hell. Why would I want to address the whole pack? I didn’t even know what to say.
I ran my hand through my hair in confusion.
Rowland’s face was etched with worry. “Are you running a fever?” he asked, his voice as concerned as his expression. He brought his hand closer to my forehead, trying to feel my temperature.
“No, I’m perfect.” I said, smacking his hand away in annoyance.
“Wait, do you even remember what happened last night?” He said in surprise.
“No, I don’t. Now, be a good boy and go straight to the point.” I said, trying to exert my dominance so he wouldn’t suspect a thing.
His eyes widened, shock and disbelief flashing across his face, and his body trembled.
“You_you forgot?” He stuttered, pointing his trembling fingers at me.
I rolled my eyes at his drama, he was pissing me off. I felt my temper slowly rising at his stupid attitude.
“How could you forget that we took over the pack last night, the day we had planned for years! You killed Kaene with your own hands, master! How could you?!” His voice shook as I saw his eyes glisten with tears.
I froze in shock. We did that? We took over the pack already?
I never thought the day would come when we would finally take control of the pack from Kaene’s tired grip. But here I am, Negan had done what he set out to do, I took over the pack.
The room echoed with my laughter, I was filled with joy. The kind that I had never felt in all my years of existence.
It was a pity that I hadn’t come to this dream sooner, I would have loved to see the weak Alpha die by my hands.

I hated that my attack was at night as if I were a coward. I would have loved a broad daylight attack.
Who cares? My plan succeeded anyway.
I glanced at Rowland, who stared at me as if I had gone mad. I stood up and walked closer to him.
I patted his back with a broad smile as I walked past him. “Let’s go talk to the pack members.”
Oh, I love this dream.
He led me to a hall and I saw it already filled with people. It wasn’t the usual gathering where you see overly dressed women that carried themselves like they owned the world or men in tuxedos laughing with pride like they won a lottery.
Those hypocrites believed that only they deserved to live because they were purebred and that everyone else was beneath them, even other so-called purebreds who weren’t in the same class.
The hall was filled with just ordinary people.
I walked in with satisfaction, my head held high. Yet I couldn’t help but notice how the people cowered as I walked past them.
They bowed their heads in fear every time I tried to look at them, and they appeared worn out.
Just what did I do to them?
Whatever it was, I honestly didn’t care.
It was obvious that they were terrified of me, but I loved the thrill I felt from it.
The sweet feeling of triumph.
My body shook with excitement each time they bowed their heads.
I must have been a fool to think that I wouldn’t like to rule.
I would rule them and make them know that I… Half witch, half wolf, an abomination took control over them.
Finally, I got to the stage and moved towards the microphone. I glanced at Rowland by my side, who still looked at me with uncertainty in his eyes.
“Hello, dear wolves.” I said, my voice hushing them into silence and my smile widened.
“As you know, your Alpha has been dealt with, and I’m in control.” I announced, pausing to see if my words sank in.
I nodded in satisfaction when I saw a few of them wipe tears off their faces.
Oh, sweet me!
I almost laughed at the sight of that.
“My pack, my rules right?” I asked as if one of them could dare give me a response.
“You see, I have brothers. You call them half-breeds, abominations, monsters, bastards, and all sorts of demeaning titles.” I felt my anger build as I spoke those words, remembering how my father treated me like trash.
I buried my rage because today, he’s no more and I had wolves of the blue moon pack right under my control.
Just before I could continue my speech, Phoebe barged through the doors of the hall.
She was bruised and her fore arm was wrapped in band aid.
I stopped as my eyes met hers, but she didn’t look at me with warmth and admiration like she used to.
Her eyes flashed with a cold glint as she stared at me with pure disdain and hatred.
She raised her hand and shouted. “Today, we take back our homes.”
