Rise of the Rejected Luna - Chapter 78
Chapter 78: _Too Ashamed
“What are you doing in my suite with all these people, Elsa?” I went straight to the point, folding my arms in front of my chest.
It was a bit chilly outside, made even more obvious because I wore only a towel.
Anyway, she rolled her eyes, shrugging. “Isn’t it obvious? Your suite is soon about to become MY suite. I’m here to make it meet up to my taste and style since your style is… Well, nonexistent.”
She chuckled at the end, walking past me and back into the suite. “Robert! I want a mini bar built into that area behind you. And then, the lighting in the entire suite is awful. We’ll have to do something about that…”
She continued barking orders at them, completely ignoring my existence.
I stood there, speechless and not knowing what to do. What could someone possibly do in such a situation?
“I’ll rip her hair extensions right out of her head if I have to.” I blurted with gritted teeth as I walked back into the suite. “You all have exactly one minute to pack your shit and get out of here.”
Once again, they ignored me, even though some were hesitant at first until Elsa glared at them.
I decided to pull the authority card. “As the Luna, I command you to leave or I’ll throw you into the dungeons!”
It seemed that finally got to them as they all stopped what they were doing, glancing at Elsa as if they were waiting for her to chime in.
She spat angrily. “Are you all out of your mind? What power does the Luna have without the support of the Alpha? I’m telling you, the Alpha doesn’t support her anymore. So, obey me and continue working!”
They all jolted, scurrying back to work and ignoring me once again.
I didn’t say anything else as my eyes scanned the suite, searching for something, anything that I could use to chase these people out.
All I wanted was to dress up and remain on my bed ALONE.
Was that too much to ask for?
Just then, I remembered something that caused me to smirk.
I walked up to the bathroom and spotted the perfect tool I could use in chasing out these people.
A shower hose.
And luckily for me, it was long enough to reach where they were and disrupt their work.
I grabbed the shower hose and walked back into the room after turning it on.
The water sprayed directly on Elsa first, who was scrolling through her phone, causing her to scream as she ran away from me.
I sprayed the water at the other morons, my smirk turning into a grin as I watched them scurrying around before running out the suite door, even doing the pleasure of locking it behind them.
“And stay out!” I yelled out, walking back into the bathroom feeling a little better now.
Maybe today wouldn’t be so bad after all…
.
.
After dressing up in a simple cream-colored day dress, I sat on my bed, deciding to read a book.
The book was about the history of the Blue Moon pack and also contained back stories on other races on the planet.
However, despite how intrigued I was by the book… I was getting bored as hell in this room not to mention hungry!
Gosh, I felt like I could consume an entire chicken by myself right now.

But I couldn’t show my face at the dining table, even though Kaene should be at work right now.
I was far too ashamed and didn’t want any further embarrassment from Elsa or former Luna Catherine.
Sighing to myself, I closed the book, bringing out my phone to see if I could perhaps make an order.
However, I heard a knock at one of my windows, causing my heart to leap into my chest at first until I got up.
I walked warily toward the window, but when I got there, nothing would’ve prepared me for what I saw there.
Or rather, WHO I saw there.
“Beta Negan?” I whispered in disbelief.
He waved at me, gesturing at me to open the window.
I blinked at him awkwardly at first before I did just that, stepping back when he jumped into my suite with a smug smirk on his face.
“Surprise, love.” He said, walking up to me and patting me on my head.
My face heated up with a blush at first, until I saw him hiding something behind his back.
“What’s that?” I pointed, tilting my head and trying to get a look at what it was.
His lips curled up into a grin as he revealed what it was. It was a shopping bag.
But the bag was steaming with the delicious aroma of food, causing my mouth to water as I stared blankly at it.
“I guessed that you would avoid the Alpha and the others and not eat breakfast in the process so I brought this.” Negan walked up to my bed and sat down, making himself comfortable.
I hesitated when he patted the spot beside him until he rolled his eyes. “Come on, love. I promise I won’t bite.”
Yeah… I’ll pass.
I instead grabbed a nearby chair and placed it in front of him, tucking my hair shyly behind my ears as I stared at the bag.
He brought out two shawarmas, stretching his hands to give me one.
“Thank you,” I muttered as I took it off his hands and quickly stripped off the foil covering it.
I dug in, breathing out with satisfaction when the creamy texture and sweetness graced my taste buds.
“Yikes! Looks like someone was hungry.” Negan remarked with a chuckle.
My face heated up with a blush but unlike with Kaene, I didn’t feel judged by him.
He was merely teasing me without criticizing me or having high expectations.
That was what drew me to befriend him in the first place. He was just refreshingly different from other werewolf elites.
“Anyway, apart from your hunger crisis, I came here for another reason,” Negan announced after taking a bite from his shawarma and keeping it aside. “I have an update on the Delta already.”
