Chapter 287: Pep Talk
Elsa continued to press him, Aaron didn’t expect that she could notice. Understandably, Elsa’s mage tier was different from Elder Kang or the great elders of Sky Sword 50th, they couldn’t see the magic aura on the suppressed Aaron.
Aaron glanced at the surrounding area, making sure no one was present there other than Elsa. Slowly, he removed the camouflage earrings and showed Elsa his face and magic aura completely.
“Aaron? Are you Aaron Lewis?” asked Elsa, confirming.
“Lewis is my clone. I assigned him to lead my group, the Shadow Rulers,” Aaron replied, grasping the earring.
“Put that aside. Your mage tier has reached the Young Great Ruler tier. How did you do that?” asked Elsa, shocked.
“During the journey from the 81st floor to the 96th, I’ve faced many monsters in order to improve my abilities,” Aaron replied.
Elsa was even more shocked when she heard that Aaron had reached the 96th floor, higher than what three presidents could reach.
The woman in front of Aaron seemed to respond by shaking her head, not knowing what could make Aaron reach the highest floor so quickly.
However, one thing that was certain was that Aaron’s arrival here must have been for something. His coming to replace Lewis must have been done for some reason that Elsa didn’t know about.
“Why would you want to help Sky Sword?” asked Elsa, squinting.
“Eloise and Emily are my friends from the 25th floor. We’ve been acquainted for quite some time,” Aaron replied.
“There’s no doubt that Lewis is their mainstay. I really don’t want to do this, but because of Lewis’ injured condition, I have no other choice,” Aaron said.
“So, you want to help them to maintain their image. Am I right?” asked Elsa.
Aaron nodded. That was one of the reasons. He also wouldn’t expect anything in return from Sky Sword because this was his initiative, not based on the wishes of the group elders.
Elsa laughed loudly, then clapped her hands together while nodding occasionally. Her face was flushed, feeling happy and moved by what Aaron had done.
She had no idea that the man she had fought with last year was now coming to help Sky Sword win the team tournament.
“With your current skills, the other teams won’t stand a chance,” Elsa replied, pleased.
“If you manage to bring this team a champion in the team tournament, I will register Shadow Ruler as an affiliated group with Sky Sword and make it the top priority of the cooperating group,” Elsa explained, firmly without hesitation.
Aaron bowed his head, grateful for Elsa’s kindness. Although Aaron had a higher mage tier, Elsa was still more experienced than him in the Dark Pillar Tower.
Making Shadow Ruler an important affiliate of Sky Sword made the group’s prestige increase significantly, it would help Shadow Ruler a lot to rise to a higher group rank —Rank High.
“Thank you, Miss Elsa,” Aaron replied.
“No problem. Do your best for this team. I’m sure you can win the team tournament,” Elsa explained, patting Aaron lightly on the shoulder.
Not only that, Elsa also gave him a better camouflage tool than the earrings. A bracelet made of rare materials, useful for disguising the magic aura to the lowest point according to the mage tier the user wants.
“This bracelet is much better than those camouflage earrings. You should use it, Alfredo and Killian won’t notice,” Elsa replied.
Aaron accepted the gift of the camouflage bracelet, then put it on his right hand. At first, he felt a magical turmoil in his body that was affected by the power of the bracelet.
However, eventually the magical turmoil subsided and his body was able to adapt to the change in intensity of the magic aura.
Now, what Elsa saw was only Lewis with a low mage Tier, not Aaron. If Elsa alone saw it that way, then Alfredo and Killian would respond similarly.
“Meet your team. Be casual with them. Don’t show any strength other than in the arena,” Elsa explained.
“Do you understand, Lewis?” asked Elsa, again.
Aaron nodded, fully understanding what the woman in front of him was saying. In an instant, Elsa’s figure disappeared from before Aaron, Aaron walked away from the center area of the throne hall, approaching the door of the room.

The door opened, Elder Kang was there with Eloise and Emily. They didn’t realize that Lewis was Aaron, what they saw was only Lewis.
“How was it? What did Miss Elsa say?” asked Elder Kang.
“She gave me some advice for the next match. I understood what she said,” Aaron replied.
He turned to look at Eloise and Emily, inviting them to rest for the day while preparing for tomorrow. Eloise noticed a change in Lewis’ attitude, but she didn’t know why and what the reason for it was.
The Medical Team Leader came over to Elder Kang, asking about Lewis’ condition.
“You can come back. Lewis seems to have fully recovered.”

The next day.
Noah City Arena.
The Sky Sword team’s entourage arrived 30 minutes early before the match started. From the information they had gotten, the team from Night Liberators had successfully advanced to the semi-finals and would be the challenger to Aaron’s team.
They did not come to the stands, but to the locker area of the arena as Elder Kang gave advice on the enemy’s capabilities.
“My members have analyzed it well. The Night Liberators excel in speed, so you must be alert and act quickly,” Elder Kang replied, the trio listening.
“If you can defeat the Night Liberators, you will enter the finals and have locked up the positions for first place and second place,” Elder Kang said.
“I saw the match from Dimension Justice. Their members’ abilities are top-notch. It might be hard for you guys to—”
“No, it’s not. It’s easy for me to beat them,” Lewis replied.
All eyes focused on Lewis, confused by Aaron’s level of confidence. Elder Kang again advised him not to act rashly and stick to the original plan.
“Emily. As usual, you will be in charge of guarding—”
“I’ll be guarding the flag,” Aaron insisted, surprising them again.
“You? But what about our attacking side?” asked Eloise.
“I’ll assist in the attack!” said Lewis.
Elder Kang laughed out loud, assuming that Lewis’ remark was entirely a joke. He left, reminding them to stick to their original plan.
“Let’s get ready,” Lewis replied.
“But….”
“Never mind, Eloise. Let’s just leave everything to Lewis.”
