Chapter 290: Elsa’s Dinner Invitation
The match was over. Lewis and the others flew out of the arena. Elder Kang led them to Sky Sword’s main headquarters.
Kang still couldn’t believe what he saw. The plan he had laid out in such a way was not being used by them. Eloise and Emily chose to listen to Lewis.
Elder Kang was not happy about it, but his anger dissipated when Lewis’ plan went well. Now, he thought to start discussing this with Lewis.
They arrived at Sky Sword headquarters. The entire group cheered, clapped, and praised the three’s skills.
As they watched the entire second semifinal match on the projection screen, they were amazed at Lewis’s true skill.
“Congratulations on your victory. Your victory is a great hope for us,” replied Grand Elder Eve, coming out of the throne hall room with Lilith beside her.
Lewis, Eloise, and Emily bowed their heads, giving a respectful response to the two great elders of Sky Sword 50th while thanking them.
“But you guys shouldn’t get carried away with this absolute victory, there’s an important match waiting for you the day after tomorrow,” Lilith replied.
“You have to focus more and practice more. The Dimension Justice team is not an easy team to fight,” said Eve.
“We’ll be careful for the last match, Miss Eve and Miss Lilith,” Eloise explained.
Eve invited the three of them to rest in the rest house that had been provided. Eloise and Emily left, but Lewis’ steps stopped when Elder Kang approached him.
“Wait, Lewis,” Kang said.
“Can we talk?” Elder Kang asked.
Eloise and Emily looked back, seeing Elder Kang looking seriously at Lewis. Lewis nodded. He also asked the two women to leave first, he would catch up later.
The two nodded, stepping back towards the rest house. Lewis went flying after Elder Kang, it seemed they were flying towards Elder Kang’s house on one of the city’s hills.
“You brought me quite far away from the main courtyard of the headquarters. What exactly do you want to talk about?” asked Lewis, arriving in front of a two-story house with a typical East Asian architectural style.
“It was a unanimous victory for you, but you won without the plan I had laid out,” Elder Kang replied.
“What exactly was your plan for this tournament? I’m sure it was your plan. Eloise couldn’t possibly have a plan other than mine,” Elder Kang retorted.
Lewis smiled and chuckled. He stepped closer to a shady tree in the garden in front of Kang’s house. He found a coolness in the place that he had never gotten before these past few days.
“Eloise and Emily are my friends. I came to help them,” Lewis explained.
“If it can help improve Sky Sword’s reputation, then you should be happy,” Lewis said, looking back at Elder Kang.
“I am the one in charge of you. Your victory or defeat is my responsibility,” Elder Kang explained.
“I devised the plan according to my team’s analysis. If you want to appreciate their efforts, at least stay focused on the plan,” Elder Kang explained.
Lewis took a deep breath, then exhaled slowly. He refocused his eyes forward, taking in the shady trees that dotted Kang’s garden.
“So, what’s your plan to deal with Dimension Justice? They probably already know our strategy because they’re also probably analyzing,” said Lewis.
“Emily will focus on guarding the flag, you and Eloise go on the offense. Is that enough?” asked Kang.
“Haha!”
“Are you sure about that plan? What’s our winning percentage if I focus on your plan?” asked Lewis, thinking Kang’s plan was old-fashioned and predictable.
“Are you doubting my analysis?!” snapped Elder Kang, emitting a powerful magic aura capable of shaking the ground and creating small water waves in the fish pond.
“It’s too early for you to show me that magic aura,” said Lewis.

Just as Lewis was about to take off his camouflage bracelet, his movements were halted when he felt a powerful magic aura flying close to this place.
He put the bracelet back on and looked back to see Miss Elsa arriving with her aide. She had previously gone to the main courtyard, but Grand Elder Eve said that Lewis was talking to Elder Kang at Kang’s house.
“Here you are, Lewis,” greeted Elsa, arriving at Kang’s house and meeting Lewis.
“What were you looking for, Elsa?” asked Lewis.
“Elsa?” asked Elder Kang, surprised to hear Lewis so casually call the President of Sky Sword.
“I mean Miss Elsa,” Lewis replied, stammering as he realized his faux pas.
Instead of getting angry, Elsa chuckled at their shocked expressions. Elsa said that she had come to invite Lewis to dinner at her residence.
That surprised not only Elder Kang, but also Lewis. He had no idea why he would be invited to dinner by the most important and influential person in Dark Pillar Tower, Elsa.
“Thank you for the invitation, but wouldn’t inviting me to dinner raise public questions?” Lewis asked.
“I’m not too concerned about that. Are you willing or not?” asked Elsa, confirming.
Lewis turned his head to the side, looking at Elder Kang who was also looking at him. Elder Kang shrugged his shoulders up, not knowing the exact answer to what was currently happening to Lewis.
“I hope nothing happened,” Lewis said with a sigh.
The man nodded. He was going to Elsa’s residence tonight to partake in dinner with her. Elsa smiled. She was happy to hear Lewis say yes.
She said goodbye. Elsa and her aide left Elder Kang’s house. Kang could breathe a sigh of relief, he was still shocked at the intense closeness between Lewis and Elsa.
“Since yesterday, Miss Elsa keeps being nice to you. What have you done to her?” asked Elder Kang, curious.
“I don’t know. I can’t influence her mind. She’s an Integrity Knight,” replied Lewis.
“Then?” asked Elder Kang again.
“Maybe she wants to be good friends with me.”
Elder Kang shook his head, not knowing anything. He felt like his head was already full of all these new things, whether it was about the Sky Sword team’s victory, Lewis’ other abilities, or even about Miss Elsa’s new closeness with Lewis.
“Don’t get your hopes up for her. Many mages are fond of that woman, even to the point of proposing to her,” Elder Kang replied.
“I heard that even the President of the Night Liberators likes Elsa,” Elder Kang added.
“Killian?” asked Lewis, shocked.
“That’s right. If you want to stay alive, be normal with Elsa. Don’t get carried away. Do you understand?”
Lewis nodded, he fully understood what Kang was saying. However, this information was quite valuable, he didn’t expect Killian to like Elsa.
‘This is interesting.
