Chapter 291: Offer in Dinner
Day turned to night, Lewis was completely shocked to realize Eloise and Emily knew his true identity. In front of them, Lewis no longer needed to pretend.
He took off his camouflage bracelet, revealing the figure of Aaron Lewis with the mage tier of Young Great Ruler, the highest among the other mages.
As Eloise and Emily recalled, the highest tier that mages in this place had achieved was Integrity Knight.
“How did you reach the Young Great Ruler tier?” asked Eloise.
“A lot of things happened. To be able to defeat the highest floor boss, I had to increase my level,” Aaron replied.
The three of them sat on the sofa in the living room, being treated to hot tea and chocolate cake snacks, Eloise had provided it just for them.
Aaron also shared why he was able to level up so quickly. Eloise listened, she didn’t expect the maze monsters upstairs could add a considerable amount of experience.
Eloise was also surprised to hear that Aaron kept doing the same raid on the same floor over and over again.
“I think it’s ingenious. By maximizing the number of high level monsters in the high floor monster raid, you can move up the floors quickly,” Emily said.
“Then, what’s the reason you came here? Is it just to help Lewis?” asked Eloise, curious.
Aaron took a slow sip of the warm tea in his glass, hearing the question that came out of the woman’s mouth.
“Originally, I only came with the intention of seeing this tournament. However, something happened to Lewis’ clone,” Aaron replied.
“Did you lose it?” asked Eloise, Aaron cleared his throat in agreement.
“His clone body has been alive for more than two years, especially since he was fatally injured in the semifinal match. So, it’s difficult to maintain it,” Aaron replied.
“That’s why I’m here to replace her,” Aaron chimed in, downing the last of the hot tea still in his glass.
Eloise nodded several times. Aaron’s words made perfect sense, a clone wouldn’t last as long as a real body. It was only natural for Aaron to eliminate Lewis and replace him with himself.
The two women finished their hot tea, Emily finished the chocolate cake snack served on the dining table. The three of them were really enjoying this moment, their unexpected encounter with Aaron.
“Alright. I have to go,” Aaron said, getting up from his seat on the sofa.
“Where to?”
“There’s someone who wants to meet me. I can’t let him down,” Aaron explained.
The man stepped up to the front door of the house and opened it. He saw that the night situation at Sky Sword headquarters was peaceful and calming, the atmosphere this time coupled with a beautiful city sprinkled with festive lights.
“You guys can rest quickly, we might need some serious training tomorrow,” Aaron said, putting the bracelet back on and turning himself into Lewis again.
Both women cleared their throats. Admittedly, the match this time was quite draining for them. They thought sleep would be the only solution to restore their lost energy from the match this afternoon.
Lewis nodded. In a flash of purple light, he disappeared from the doorstep accompanied by a slight gust of wind.
The man flew across the city’s night sky towards the residence of Miss Elsa, the President of Sky Sword.
Although Noah City was quite large, but Lewis was able to find the woman’s magnificent residence, located in the center of the city and still within the Sky Sword district.
Elsa’s residence was spacious, with a front yard filled with lush gardens full of flowers and clear water ponds full of fish. The atmosphere inside Elsa’s courtyard was quite calming for anyone who came to visit.
‘I have the features of the house, but I haven’t decided where I should build my house,’ Lewis explained.
Lewis landed right in front of Elsa’s gate, met by two guards from the Sky Sword in full uniform. They immediately snapped to attention at Lewis’ sudden arrival.
“Who are you? Are you Mr. Lewis?” the guard asked.

“I am. Did Miss Elsa tell you earlier?” asked Lewis, both guards nodded.
The three-meter-high gate opened, a guard escorted Lewis from the front yard to Elsa’s main residence.
During the journey, Lewis couldn’t stop enjoying the beauty of the front yard of Elsa’s residence, it was so beautiful and elegant.
The door to the main residence opened. The guard asked Lewis to wait while he went to Miss Elsa, to confirm Lewis’ arrival.
Lewis waited for about 15 minutes until Elsa came in person to pick Lewis up. A smile on her beautiful face, Elsa arrived looking flawless, a long blue dress adorning her body, an off-shoulder type of dress.
“Did you wait long, Mr. Lewis?” asked Elsa, politely.
“Not so long. Thank you for coming to pick me up. I’m honored,” explained Lewis, arriving in his trademark purple-patterned black shirt.
“It’s all right, it’s part of good manners to entertain guests who come to visit, isn’t it?” asked Elsa.
“Come in.”
Elsa stepped in front of Lewis, still accompanied by her loyal aide. Lewis walked behind, striding as if he was following her.
The interior of the house was as beautiful as the outside. Several collections of paintings and weapons were displayed in the place, including Elsa’s hobbies or achievements while in the Dark Pillar Tower.
They continued walking until they entered the spacious dining room. There were 7 waiters wearing black waiter suits standing some distance away from the long dining table. Many dishes were served on the table, enough to make Lewis shocked.
‘Will I be able to eat all that?’ asked Lewis, shocked.
“Please have a seat. I’m sorry we’re only serving these dishes,” Elsa replied, trying to be modest.
“No, you’re not. This dish is perfect. Thank you very much, Miss Elsa,” Lewis explained.
“Just call me Elsa, there’s no Elder Kang here,” Elsa joked, making Lewis chuckle.
Lewis nodded. If the woman was okay with it, then Lewis would call her what Elsa wanted him to.
Elsa sat in her chair, and so did Lewis. Before the main course, they served appetizers, such as milk and cheese pudding. Lewis enjoyed it, but it was awkward to eat side by side with Elsa.
“What floor have you reached so far?” asked Elsa, curious.
“97th floor,” Lewis replied.
“97th? You’re very close to the 100th floor. If Killian finds out, he’ll be in a deep depression,” said Elsa.
“I didn’t get there easily, it took me a long time to get there,” Lewis said.
“And probably longer for someone like me,” Elsa replied, still eating the milk cheese pudding.
They discussed many things before eating the main course. Elsa said that if this was the way it was going to be, she would suggest Lewis to fight in the solo tournament instead of the team tournament. Aaron didn’t know the exact difference between the two tournaments.
Elsa explained in detail. Solo tournaments are often considered more prestigious because it’s a match of individual ability. This means that people can tell if he is talented or not.
In team tournament matches, people sometimes see that there are team members who are too dependent on other members, so the judgment can be abstract and erratic.
If Lewis had been placed as a participant in a solo tournament, perhaps Sky Sword would have been at an advantage from this point on.
However, what has been done is done. There was no need for Elsa to regret what had happened.
“What’s upstairs?” asked Elsa.
“Many things. But certainly only the 80th floor has floor bosses from mythological races,” Lewis explained.
“From the 81st floor to the 96th floor, all the floor bosses are monsters, despite their size and strength,” Lewis emphasized.
“Currently, I’ve explored the floors up to the 84th floor, which is quite a distance if I have to reach the 96th floor. But can you help me with something?” asked Elsa.
“What is it?” asked Lewis.
“If you manage to reach the highest peak and achieve the Dark Ruler, would you be willing to become one of our honorary members?” asked Elsa.
Lewis stopped eating, drank the wine and looked to the side. Elsa said there was a special reason why she asked Lewis that, it was because Elsa wanted Sky Sword’s status to be at the top of the highest group, surpassing Dimension Justice.
Not only that, Lewis’ experience would be invaluable to the other members. When they saw someone with the Dark Ruler and were able to get out of this place, then their spirits would be boosted even more, especially since the Dark Ruler was part of Sky Sword.
“If you want a reward, perhaps I can provide one especially for you,” Elsa replied, her face reddening as she said so.
With a gesture of nodding her head, Elsa asked all the servants to leave the dining room, leaving Elsa alone with Lewis.
To make matters even more confusing, Elsa’s attitude made Lewis wonder about the gift she was referring to.
“What do you mean?” Lewis asked.
“Perhaps you’re going to give—”
Surprisingly, Elsa grasped Lewis’ hand tightly, her body deliberately brought closer to Lewis so that he could smell her fragrant body.
“I’m embarrassed to say it again, but I hope you know what I mean.”
