Chapter 292: Friendship Offer
Lewis nodded. Elsa didn’t need to explain further, the man fully understood what Elsa was saying. However, Lewis was not interested at all.

“I’m not interested in that at all,” Lewis replied, firmly.

“What?”

“Is it possible that you—”

“Of course not. I’m straight. I’m just not interested in doing it with you,” Lewis explained.

“Am I not attractive to you?” asked Elsa, still in shock.

“I already have a girlfriend. You shouldn’t keep offering me that,” said Lewis.

Elsa paused, then nodded and went back to eating the main course in front of her. Elsa would not offer her body to Lewis again, she realized that Lewis was not an ordinary man who was easily attracted to women, let alone Elsa.

“I don’t mind your offer. However, there is one thing I would like you to do for me,” Lewis replied, stopping his meal and taking a sip of the wine in his glass.

“What’s that?” asked Elsa.

“Get rid of the Night Liberators as one of the three main groups. Make my group, the Shadow Rulers, one of your own,” Lewis explained.

It was an unusual ambition, and a big one. Elsa knew the consequences of asking Lewis to become an honorary member of the Sky Sword would surely come with the other things he asked for.

With Lewis’ abilities, she was no longer interested in magic items. Instead, with his current abilities, Lewis gained something beyond magic items, power.

“Starting a war with the Night Liberators is quite risky, considering both sides are evenly matched,” Elsa replied, stopping her eating.

“If you can’t do it, then I’ll assume your offer never existed,” Lewis replied, resuming his meal.

Elsa fell silent again, her right hand clenched tightly with emotion and anxiety. She felt that she could not let Lewis go. Elsa and Sky Sword must try to win Lewis’ heart, no matter what it takes.

“I will talk to the Sky Sword branch group leaders about this, as well as the elders. I hope you can wait, Aaron,” Elsa explained.

“By my estimation, it will take six to eight months for me to earn the title of Dark Ruler. That is your time. If you don’t decide soon, I’ll decline your offer,” Aaron said.

“Eight months, huh? That’s more than enough to convince them, after all, the Sky Sword is often enemies with the Night Liberators.”

“No, you don’t need to do that. Eloise is quite comfortable with her status in Lilith City, don’t force her to ascend to a city she’s not familiar with,” Aaron interrupted.

“I understand,” Elsa replied.

The time showed nine o’clock in the evening, it had been two hours since Aaron had been at Elsa’s residence. Aaron admitted that he enjoyed dinner with Elsa, he was also honored to be able to accept the woman’s offer of dinner.

“With your kind heart, plus the beauty of your face, I seem to know the exact reason why Killian likes you,” Aaron explained, walking casually beside Elsa.

Elsa smiled, the two stopped stepping in the back garden of Elsa’s residence complex. Unlike the courtyard in front that featured brightly colored flowers, what was seen in the back garden was completely different.

There were dahlias, tulips, and roses in the same color, black. Not only that, there was a garden pavilion with vines and black flowers adorning its walls.

“I can’t seem to get away from her,” Elsa explained, stepping into the pavilion.

Aaron stepped inside following Elsa, but to his surprise he felt a strong magical barrier that seemed to hold Aaron back from entering.

Elsa smiled and chuckled. She forgot that this place was her private place, she had installed silencing magic in this place so that people would not hear her complaints.

“Silencing magic?” Aaron asked.

“That’s right. I always use this place when I’m out of my mind and upset. It’s so people don’t hear my screams,” Elsa replied, softly.

“Is it so hard to bear the burden of being the president of Sky Sword?” asked Aaron.

“It is. I’m fully responsible for the glory of this group.”

“I’ve repeatedly asked them to elect a new president, but no one has the courage to run,” explained Elsa.

“It feels good to me when I have someone to share my grievances with,” Elsa chimed in.

Aaron paused, then looked back at the black flowers that matched the theme of this place, sadness and disappointment.

“You can think of me as a friend,” Aaron replied.

“Are you sure?” asked Elsa, surprised and confirming.

“Of course. It would be an honor for me to be friends with you.”

Elsa smiled, her heart racing as her eyes continued to focus on Aaron. If Aaron really wanted to do so, then Elsa would not refuse him.

“Sure. I want to be friends with you.”
