Chapter 100: Exploration
“Victoria!” Victoria’s father frowned when he saw his daughter’s action. For some reasons, he felt that his daughter was getting more and more unpredictable.

Compared to Valeria who knew how to take care of them, he felt that this daughter was someone who never cared for them. This made Victoria’s father angry but he couldn’t possibly leave her alone either.

“What do you want?” Victoria turned around and looked at her father, her eyes were cold.

“Come with me and stay with your mother. There’s no need for you to…”

“Father, there are too many people who want to go to the first army. What’s our family’s advantage compared to them?” Victoria asked slowly.

She knew very well that their family might look like a big family, but it was all false. Her father was not very competent and it was her uncle who was far more powerful and made a business empire.

“Let them go first. Letting two people go first is easier than asking for four people,” Victoria said and then waved her hand. She looked into the distance and her eyes narrowed. “Besides, there are also other people here who are quite more powerful.”

For the second army to be able to return to the base, there had to be some powerful people who had been arranged to stay behind. If all who were left behind were the weaklings, then it would have been impossible for them to go to the base.

So Victoria felt that it would be better for her to stay.

Victoria’s father hesitated for a moment and then followed behind his daughter. He would stay behind and see what Victoria was planning to do.

Riya didn’t know how long time has passed ever since she entered the crack.

There was no sunlight here and if not for her ability to see in the dark, she would have long crash onto the rocks. There were already thousands or even tens of thousands of magic beasts’ corpses in her world. Her world was so happy that it accelerated time on its own to decompose these and also expanded the world’s size.

Sensing the high concentration of mana inside her world, Riya sighed deeply.

“There are only unranked and rank 1 magic beasts,” Riya muttered as she munched on dried meat. This was her lunch or dinner or perhaps breakfast because Riya was not sure what time it was.

Originally, Riya thought that she would face rank 2 or higher magic beasts, but she thought too much.

“But this crack is really long and deep,” Riya complained.

She took out a tablet and continued her drawing. When she came down, Riya tried to make the map. The shape was a bit crooked and looked strange, but Riya was not entirely sure about the distance because she was too busy fighting with these magic beasts.

She could estimate it.

Seeing the map that she had made, Riya sighed again.

The map looked… really ugly.

“Well, let’s continue.”

Riya stretched her hand and looked at the magic beasts in the distance. After a long time fighting in a dense group of magic beasts, the number of magic beasts slowly decreased and Riya had more freedom to walk around.

She could see that not all magic beasts were attracted to the world outside and only those who were around the crack. After a certain distance, the pull seemed to have decreased and these magic beasts looked like they were in the wild.

After that, Riya continued walking and looked around.

She wondered how come such a large world had never been found before. It was indeed quite deep when she jumped down the crack, but it should still be visible through various equipment that detected through waves or even heat.

Unless…

There was some kind of mana shielding in this place.

It was just that Riya didn’t understand how they were able to mine oil and the others while bypassing this place. It could also be possible that this place was deeper than the oil, though as Riya was not entirely sure about it.

After some time, Riya noticed a noticeable increase in the magic beasts’s number. But they were not heading in her direction but in the opposite side.

“Is there another crack there or something else?”

Out of curiosity, Riya went forward and started her slaughter.

After a while, Riya was stunned with the sight in front of her.

“How…?”
