Samuel saw Riya’s gesture and arched his eyebrows.

There was a faint smile that he might not notice on the corner of his mouth.

Riya looked at Samuel as if she was looking at an idiot. “Don’t you know that a big formation like that might contain several smaller formations interlocking together? Analyzing them couldn’t be done right away.”

“Why did you not take your time to study them?” Samuel asked again.

He could see that Riya should have her own methods to analyze those formations and so on.

“Because there’s no time,” Riya replied.

“Yes?”

“If the cracks continued to close, we’ll have to find other cracks to get out. Besides, what kind of formation it is to cause so many corpses to disappear…”
