There were still many places that needed to be reevaluated. But Riya was sure that they would not joke around about the safety of the people within the base. So they would not share the information about the people in the base so easily.

Riya’s eyes narrowed as she looked at Victoria and Valeria in front of her.

If she had to say, she was not too close to Victoria and Claire. The main reason was because these two people rarely stay in the university and usually busy with other things. Claire’s hometown was not in City A, so she often stayed away to stay with her family members, which made it harder to contact her.

Because of this, Riya didn’t know much about them.

The few times she came into contact with them was when Amelia had conflict with Valeria.

‘Oh well, they’re still Amelia’s cousins and also her friend.’ Riya sighed in her heart.

Even if she wanted to stay away, it would be inevitable to see them in City A Base. After all, the base was still under construction and there were many places that were still being built.

With such size, how could it be possible for them to avoid others completely?

“You’re free to let others stay in your place if you want to,” Amelia said after calming down slightly and her IQ turned again. “And I don’t want to let you stay with me.”

These guards saluted and then swiftly dragged Valeria away to reprimand her. They knew that they should move fast or it would be impossible for them to escape punishment from Samuel.

Even if Samuel didn’t exactly give his siblings high position, but everyone knew that he cared for his family members. If someone dared to bully either one of his siblings and parents, they would never end well once Samuel made a move.

In this case, they didn’t dare not to listen to Amelia’s words.

Valeria screamed again but the guards didn’t relent.

Riya looked at this scene and silently lamented how much Valeria had changed ever since the world changed. Back then, Valeria would care for her image but lately, she seemed not to care about it that much anymore.

Perhaps, this was caused by the lack of food.

After all, Valeria didn’t have many contribution points and could barely fill her stomach. Without working and without her parents taking care of her, her situation naturally worsened over the years.

“No problem. Various administration problems are handled in one budding for now. City A Base didn’t really have that many buildings yet,” Amelia explained with somewhat embarrassed expression.

It has been a while since City A Base was built but this matter has not been solved at all. This naturally made Amelia a bit embarrassed.

It seemed that she could mention this to her father later.

“It’s fine.” Victoria smiled in return.

With that, Amelia started to lead the way and asked, “How did you manage to separate from your family, Victoria? I thought that you will come together back then.”

“Ah? There are some troubles on the way and I don’t think it’s convenient for me to travel with Valeria,” Victoria replied.

She had no interest to stay with her brainless sister.

Besides, she purposely went later than her sister in order to communicate more with some people who had some influence in City A Base.

“Is that so?” Amelia nodded and then sighed. “Living outside must be hard.”
