Chapter 72: The Cracks
Time passed quietly.

Riya swiftly eliminated most of the magic beasts on the surface around the academy and then went to check the cracks where these magic beasts came out.

For her, who had reached rank 3, these magic beasts were nothing. In fact, it could be said that she dealt with them so easily that Riya felt no challenge. Aside from the consumption of her mana, she was uninjured.

It took Riya some time to find the correct crack where these magic beast came from.

Looking at the large number of magic beast in front of her, Riya pursed her lips. She knew that it would be impossible for her to eliminate these magic beasts so quickly if their number were too many like this.

So she had to use another way.

Looking around, Riya silently grabbed one of the magic beast and then collected the beast blood. With her mana wrapping the blood, Riya started to draw on the side of these cracks. Using her mana, Riya quickly finished drawing a formation on top of this crack with the magic beast’s blood.

Riya nodded in satisfaction.

The blood of the magic beast should be able to last for some time.

Riya watched for a while, calculating the used mana and after some consideration, it should be able to last for a week unless these magic beasts turned crazy and attacked in a large number.

“They wouldn’t do something so stupid, right?”

Riya was not sure.

She simply took another magic beast corpse and then used the blood to create another formation on top of this one formation.

Double layer formation.

This kind of formation required the formation master to understand the lines better than before. Because if the lines were to overlap each other, they might interfere with the other formation and instead of enhancing the performance, it would only bring the performance worse.

After looking for a few times, Riya then stepped back and used the last bit of the blood to create a concealment formation outside these two killing formations.

The concealment formation was the type of formation that could be used to cover the large area to prevent them from seeing what was inside. What they could see could be determined by the pattern of the formation depending on what the one who made the formation wanted them to see.
