Chapter 79: Taking Some Supplies
The canteen was located in the main building of the university. This building was half broken and they could see the second and third floor that was broken. Looking at this place, they sighed deeply but then walked inside.

“There are some canned food. Let’s bring them to the car.” Amelia was happy when she saw these canned food left untouched. The best resource for them right now was canned food and Amelia knew very well that only these types of food can last for a long time.

“Thankfully there are some canned food here.” Ruby also looked around and nodded. “There are also rice sack. Help me to bring it.”

“Let me take it,” Riya said and silently cast a formation on the rice sack and then lifted it up. This sack had become lighter with her magic spell, so there was no problem for Riya to carry it.

“I’ll take some instant noodles.”

The three of them fill their backpack and then left the canteen. There were still many foods there and after some thoughts, Riya didn’t bring them into her space. She will leave these food for them.

The three of them moved quickly and reached Amelia’s car. After checking the car and making sure everything was intact, they put the food in the trunk.

“Make another trip?” Riya asked.

“Their body structure didn’t seem to be any different from other beast,” Ruby commented as she used the knife to check and sighed. “If only my equipment is here, I can do a more comprehensive test.”

“No, this is enough…” Amelia shook her head. “Can we eat them?”

Looking at the magic beasts’ corpse in front of them, Amelia wondered whether they could eat these magic beasts or not.

“Unless it’s emergency, I don’t advise it.” Ruby glanced at Amelia. “You don’t know whether there are some other substance inside their bodies that might be dangerous for human’s body.”

“…Right.” Amelia silently retreated.

Riya looked at Ruby in approval.

Because she knew very well that these magic beasts’ body had to be specifically processed if they wanted to be eaten. In that world, it was a common knowledge that many people knew, but she had heard that when these magic beasts started appearing, many people died due to indiscriminate eating.

Because the mana that was contained in these magic beasts’ body were not compatible with the mana inside human’s body. The clash of mana will make their body become a battlefield, which if they lost, they would die.

It was quite similar to bacteria or virus in a sense.

“But some people might think that it’s fine to eat these magic beasts,” Amelia said.

“Then they had to be careful,” Ruby replied uncaringly and focused her attention on the organs. She wanted to check these.

Riya pursed her lips and sighed.

To be honest, the lowest level purification magic alone was enough to process these meat. The problem is, there was no magic in this world and the people here didn’t know any magic.

Purification magic was originally a high ranked magic that could only be done by some people.

But because of these magic beasts, they developed the lower level version.

The effectiveness of the lower rank purification spell was really low and could only be used on plants and dead animals. It was usually used for cleaning while higher ranked purification spell can be used on living beings.

It was the biggest difference.
