Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure - Chapter 1432
Chapter 1432: Not this again
“What do we do now?” One of the people from the Holy Empire asked this question all of a sudden when he saw that I wasn’t doing anything.
I looked back at them and shook my head.
Even though they were asking me this question, it wasn’t as if there was anything that I could do about this.
I knew just as much as they did.
But the way that they looked at me was as if they believed that I would be able to do something about this.
This caused a bitter smile to appear on my face.
“Just what am I supposed to do about this?” That was the complaint that passed through my mind seeing them act like this, but I didn’t say it out loud.
Instead, I turned back to look at the door and raised my hand to put it on the door.
This was the hand that had the Mark of God on it.
While I had no idea if this would work, I knew that if there was anything that could help us right now, it would be the power of god. These ruins were created by the gods in the first place to seal off the Relic of Destruction.
At the same time, they were the ones that had sent me here to get this Relic of Destruction in the first place.
So as my hand went closer to the door, I just thought, “You’re the ones that wanted me here, so you have to do something to help me.”
It was just that it didn’t seem like there was a reaction out of the Mark of God…
It seemed like there wasn’t a single god that would answer my prayers.
But before I could touch the door, I found that everything went dark.
“Holy son!”
That was the last thing that I heard before everything went silent.
However, there was also the same feeling as before. It was as if the floor suddenly collapsed under me and I was falling.
When that feeling stopped, I found myself in darkness again.
Then with a snap of my fingers, there were flames that appeared around me that lit up the space that I was in.
The moment that I was able to see what was around me, a wry smile appeared on my lips.
“It’s the same?” I couldn’t help asking in a bitter voice.
The room that I was in was the exact same room that I found myself in the other ruins.
Though the one difference this time was…well there wasn’t the surprise that was Aisha.
This time, it seemed that I was really all alone in this place.
But that didn’t mean that I was helpless.
Since this room was similar to the one from the other ruins, then that meant that I should be able to use the same method to escape this place.
With that thought in mind, I pulled out the Staff of Earth and tapped the tip of it to the wall before closing my eyes.
And as expected, it didn’t take long for me to find what I was looking for.
There really was this button that was on the wall as well.
Follow new episodes on the "N0vel1st.c0m".
With a press of the button, I opened up the hole in the wall and stepped into the next room.
I didn’t know what I was expecting, but I did feel a bit disappointed seeing that it was the same room.
“Are they just reusing ideas?” I couldn’t help thinking to myself when I saw this room.
It really seemed like they had given up on thinking of a new mechanic for these ruins with the way that things repeated.
As I was disappointed, I went up to the next wall and started using the Staff of Earth to find the button just like before.
With the Staff of Earth, there was no delay in any of my movements as I continued going from room to room.
The Staff of Earth really was the ultimate cheat item when it came to these ruins…
But as I used the Staff of Earth, I found that there was something strange.
It wasn’t the same as before, I wasn’t moving in a spiral.
The other trap in the other ruins had been a spiral that led to the center of the area. This time, it seemed like it was leading me in a zigzag pattern with the way that it kept going back and forth.
Perhaps there was something that was different about this place?
With this expectation, I reached the final room and as I expected, it did seem it was different.
Instead of leading me to a room that had a pedestal in the center of it, it actually led me to this large room that had a pedestal on the other side. I could see that there was something that was shining that was on the pedestal and looking closely, I made out the shape of a key.
This was most likely the key to the door that was sealing the Relic of Destruction.
Only there was something else that caught my attention in this room.
The tiles on the floor were all different coloured and they were placed randomly.
It didn’t seem like there was a pattern to how these tiles were spread out.
It just seemed like they were scattered all over the place by whoever designed this place.
However, I knew that it wouldn’t be that simple.
After all, there was no way that they would do all of this for no reason.
Looking at the tiles for a while, I finally decided to step on one of them. Though before stepping on it, I made sure that I would be able to escape if anything happened.
This tile that I chose to step on was this green tile.
Taking a deep breath, I said, “Here goes nothing.”
Then I stepped on the tile.
It didn’t seem like anything was happening until the tile suddenly turned red.
