Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure - Chapter 1433
Chapter 1433: Cheat item
Though the tile turned red, it didn’t seem like anything was about to happen.
But even then, I quickly pulled myself away from the tile before it could release something.
It was a good thing that I reacted quick enough or I certainly would have suffered because of this tile.
Because right after I pulled myself back, there was this pillar of flames that was released from the tile. It wasn’t released from under the tile, it seemed like it came from the tile itself.
It seemed that this tile was some kind of magic item that released these flames.
At the same time, the heat from the flames showed that these flames weren’t ordinary flames. The tile that was used to create them was most likely some kind of powerful magic item to be able to release flames of this level.
As expected of the gods?
Well, it only made sense that they would want to keep people that weren’t related to this key away from it. This was the key that would allow one to access one of the Relics of Destruction, so it wasn’t just a normal key.
This was a very important key that should be kept as safe as possible.
But I still had to complain.
“You’re the ones that sent me here in the first place, why are you making it so hard for me?” I muttered as I looked at the flames being sent upwards by the tile.
Only there was no response to this complaint.
At the same time, there was something else for me to worry about.
That was because the flames that had been shot up by the tile didn’t just disappear.
Rather, it seemed like they were about to do something with the way that they suddenly curved downwards. It seemed like the flames were reacting to something with the way that they curved.
And the thing that they were reacting to.
“It won’t just shoot those flames at me, right?”
That was what I said, but I already knew the answer to this question.
So before the flames could reach me, I had already taken out a button that I held up in front of me.
The moment that the flames approached, there was a light that came from the button before ice appeared in the air. This was a wall of ice that was formed in front of me, blocking the flames from hitting me.
But I knew that this alone wouldn’t be enough.
So the moment that the flames and ice made contact, there was this layer of ice that suddenly started to spread. It surrounded the flames that it made contact with and spread across that pillar of flames.
Even though the flames did what it could to try and stop the ice, it just wasn’t enough to stop the ice from spreading.
It seemed that even with the heat from the flames, they weren’t strong enough to melt the ice.
That was only natural.
The flames that the tile released were just flames made from mana. It was flames that came from concentrated mana, but it wasn’t concentrated enough that it was able to go against ice made from divine energy.
The ice made from divine energy was just on a completely different level.
That was why the flames couldn’t actually melt the ice created by the divine relic.
After the ice completely surrounded all of the flames that came from the tile, it seemed like the tile was deactivated as no more flames came from it.
At the same time, it seemed like the ice even managed to seal off the tile itself as it surrounded the surface of the tile. Once the surface of the tile was surrounded, the red tile went back to the same green colour as before.

I let out a sigh of relief seeing this, but then I turned my eyes back to the other tiles that were still there in front of me.
Even if there was one tile that was dealt with, there were still all of these other tiles that were still there.
“How am I going to make my way across this?” I muttered to myself in a helpless voice.
No matter how I looked at it, it didn’t seem like it would be easy to deal with this.
That was until a thought passed through my mind and I turned to look at the frozen tile.
I just looked at the tile for a bit before stepping forward towards it.
While holding the button up, I put one foot on the frozen green tile. During this, I was ready to jump away as soon as the tile showed any signs of reacting.
But it didn’t seem like it did react to my foot falling on it.
The tile just remained green.
It was as if it didn’t feel anything from me stepping on it.
Watching it for a bit, I didn’t do anything else as I waited for some kind of reaction from the tile. Then I suddenly stepped forward to put both feet on the tile and even tried putting my weight on the tile.
But it didn’t matter what I did, there was just no reaction that came from the tile.
After a while, I finally stepped off the tile and looked down at the button in my hand.
Shaking my head with a faint smile, I said, “Doesn’t this make this a cheat item?”
With that, I raised the button and released the ice once more.
Starting from the tile that I had already frozen, I released the ice to cover the rest of the tiles.
Controlling that ice, I spread it all over the tiles until there was just a layer of ice that was left.
Only when this layer of ice was over the tiles did I step forward.
As I expected, there wasn’t a single reaction that came from the tiles when I stepped over them.
The divine ice had completely sealed them off.
That created my path to the key.
