Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure - Chapter 1439
Chapter 1439: Another ruin?
I had to take several deep breaths before I was calm enough to actually speak.
The first thing that I said was, “Are you sure about this?”
Aisha looked at me with a strange look, but she eventually gave a nod and said, “I didn’t explore it since it’s a place that they kept others out of, but I’m certain that it’s a place that was similar. I was only able to sneak in and see a few things before being forced to run away.”
I couldn’t help deeply knitting my brows after hearing this.
That was because these ruins that she talked about shouldn’t have existed.
Based on the information that I had gotten from the gods, there were only four of these ruins created to seal off the Relics of Destruction. At the same time, they had already given me the general location of these four ruins, so I knew where they were to a certain extent.
As far as I knew, there were no such ruins in the Elven Kingdom.
However, Aisha was telling me that this wasn’t the case. She was telling me that she had seen a familiar ruin in the Elven Kingdom.
While it wasn’t confirmed, I didn’t think that she would lie to me about this.
Aisha knew what these ruins were now and what was sealed inside of them, so she would know that this was not the kind of thing to joke about. She should be fully aware of the gravity of this situation.
So for her to say something like this, even if we did sort of force it out of her, it should have some merit.
But what did it mean for the elves to have something like this?
In the first place, these places were used to seal off the Relics of Destruction.
So if there really was a place that was similar to these ruins in the Elven Kingdom, did that mean that they also possessed one of the Relics of Destruction?
If that was the case, why wouldn’t the gods mention this?
Unless…they felt that the elves were enough to keep the Relic of Destruction safe.
But that was only the best case scenario.
If it wasn’t, then there was only one possibility of what this was.
The elves had somehow managed to get their hands on one of the Relics of Destruction and they had copied the style of the ruins to create a place that was similar. They were most likely using it to keep that Relic of Destruction under seal until they needed to use it.
But what would they use it for?
Was it because they had been corrupted by the God of Destruction?
Or was it because they were planning to use it for their own gains?
No…it didn’t really matter what they were planning to use it for.
After all, if they really did have one of the Relics of Destruction, it just meant that things were bad.
The elves were one of the races that had signed the agreement between the different races. Now if it turned out that they had been working with the God of Destruction or keeping things from the other races the whole time, then this alliance might just fall apart.
“Do I have to make a trip to the Elven Kingdom?” I couldn’t help muttering under my breath after thinking this through.
The more that I thought about it, the more necessary it seemed since I needed to find out just what the elves were planning. If they really did have a Relic of Destruction, then it would be something that would have to be dealt with.
While it wasn’t that I had something against the elves since I had even taken an elf as a wife, it was just that the fact that they kept this hidden would be more than enough of a red flag that it was dangerous.
This was something that definitely had to be secured just in case they were tempted…
But before that, there was somewhere else that I had to go to ask someone a few questions.

It was just that when I thought about what happened earlier, it was hard for me to go there.
“How long can I stall it out for? I don’t want to go right away…” I couldn’t help saying to myself again under my breath.
It seemed that Aisha had misunderstood something, so she said, “I’ll go with you.”
I looked up at her and I didn’t say anything.
That was because I knew the story that she had with the Elven Kingdom’s capital. So I knew that it must be hard for her to go back to that place when all she wanted to do was to escape it.
It was also the reason why she had never gone back after all this time.
There was a part of me that wanted to tell her that she didn’t need to go, but it also seemed that she had made up her mind. It seemed like she was already filled with determination to go.
Even if the elves of the Elven Kingdom capital didn’t seem to have any kind of grievances with me, I knew that it wouldn’t be that easy for me to do anything there. After all, I was still a human…
At the same time, there were a few personal grievances that I did have in that place.
So having someone like Aisha would certainly be a good thing for me.
Aisha was a high elf and one that had a decently high status in the Elven Kingdom, so having her with me would surely open doors that wouldn’t have been open for me previously.
After debating it, I gave a slow nod before saying, “But before going there, we have to make a detour. Let’s just go home first and rest up before we head out again.”
Aisha gave a small nod in response.
I could tell from the look on her face that she wasn’t in a rush to leave either and it wasn’t hard to guess why.
