Chapter 1452: Seeds of Life (2)
As we followed Vivrum, Aisha eventually came back to her senses.

She looked at me with a strange look before asking, “How are you this calm to see a god?”

“Well, I’m already used to it.” The only thing that I could do at this point was answer honestly.

And that meant that I received a strange look in response.

Aisha looked at me as if I was some kind of alien that she just couldn’t understand, but there was nothing that I could say to explain this. After all, it was quite hard to explain everything that had happened to me since coming to this world.

At the same time, there were also some things related to this that I didn’t want anyone to know about.

So it really wasn’t as if I could tell her my story.

I just focused on following Vivrum without actually answering her doubts.

That meant that Aisha was still looking at me with a strange look when Vivrum suddenly stopped.

But since Vivrum stopped and turned around, Aisha also turned to look at her to see what was happening.

Once she stopped, Vivrum looked at me and said, “We’re here. This is the place where this taboo of mine is sealed.”

I looked at the door that was behind Vivrum with a strange look.

This door looked very similar to the door that the Relic of Destruction had been locked behind.

Seeing the way that I looked at the door…no, she didn’t even need to do that since Vivrum could directly read my mind, she said, “I was part of the group that designed those ruins in the first place, so I used that as an inspiration when creating these ruins to seal off this taboo of mine.”

I couldn’t help raising a brow when I heard this before looking at Vivrum with a doubtful look, but it didn’t seem like she had anything to hide from me.

Then again, it wasn’t as if I could actually do anything to threaten a god in the first place.

So it wasn’t as if she would actually be bothered by the doubt that I had.

Instead, Vivrum just turned around once more and tapped the door.

The moment that she did, it started to open and there was a powerful wave of life energy that came out. If it wasn’t for the light that came from the Mark of God at the last second that formed a protective barrier around us, we definitely would have been swept away under this wave of life energy.

Even Aisha would have found it hard to resist the life energy that was here.

I knew that this was Vivrum’s way of taking care of us since it was a green light that came from the Mark of God this time. At the same time, it wasn’t the same Mark of God that had activated before.

This time, it was the Mark of God that was on my forehead that she gave me.

But even though this layer of green light was protecting us, we were still able to sense just how much life energy was around us. This was most likely Vivrum’s doing as well to show just how powerful this thing sealed inside of this room was.

Though in the first place, the fact that she was glowing much brighter than before was also enough to show just how much life energy was being released by the thing inside of the room.

This taboo of Vivrum…just what was this thing?

I looked past the door and into the room, but I found that there was just a single podium that was there. It was just like the room that had been used to seal the Relic of Destruction, but there wasn’t a single trace of corruption energy that was there.

There was only life energy that came in waves.

Looking carefully at the podium, I could tell that it was some kind of seed that was lying there on the podium.

Only just what were these seeds?

“They’re something that I created after we sealed off the God of Destruction.”

I looked at her with a surprised look, but that surprise soon faded since Vivrum had already said that this was a taboo that she created.

“Just what is this thing that you’ve created?” I slowly asked this question.

Vivrum didn’t answer right away as she turned her head away to look up at the ceiling. Though I couldn’t see her face because she was just a form of light, it wasn’t hard to tell how she was feeling based on her body language.

If I could have seen her face, I certainly would have seen that her eyes would have been distant.

It would have been as if she was looking at something in the distance that wasn’t actually there.

I didn’t say anything as I just waited for her to respond.

After a long silence, Vivrum finally said, “In those days, the land had been ravaged because of the war with the God of Destruction. It was hard for the races to live on the land that had been completely destroyed because of the war, so I wanted to find a way to help those mortals by creating a relic that would help the land recover.”

Instead of answering the question, she just started telling a story.

But I could tell that it was related, so I just listened silently to this story.

With a sigh, Vivrum continued by saying, “What was created in the end was this thing that became my taboo. I wanted to create something that could provide life energy and recover the land, but this thing became too powerful that even I wasn’t able to control it properly. You can already guess what happens if there’s too much life energy.”

Aisha and I slowly nodded since we had already felt the effect of this when we tried approaching this place.

Vivrum then said, “What I created were these Seeds of Life.”
