Chapter 1453: Seeds of Life (3)
“Seeds of Life…” I slowly repeated in a low voice after hearing this, but there was a confused look on my face.
Even though the name made it clear what these things were, I just couldn’t understand why there was all this life energy coming from it.
The Seeds of Life would be used to create new life in a ravaged world, but wasn’t there just too much life energy being released?
At the same time, it didn’t seem like there was anything triggering that life energy.
It seemed like there was just no end to the supply of life energy that these Seeds of Life could release.
It seemed like this was something that would continue to release life energy until the end of time.
“That is exactly what it will do.” Vivrum suddenly said this which caught my off guard.
I turned to look at her with a strange look, but it wasn’t as if I could see what the expression on her face was like since there was that layer of light that was covering her expression.
Though to be honest, it wasn’t as if I even knew what kind of reaction I should have expected from her in the first place.
In the end, I just turned back to look at the podium once more.
There was a part of me that wanted to move forward, but in response to this…
Vivrum actually stepped forward so that she was standing between us and the podium that was inside. It seemed that she wasn’t going to let us get any closer to the podium than this.
“Not even a quick look?” I couldn’t help asking.
But in the end, she just shook her head.
So there was nothing that I could do about this other than give up.
However, there was one more thing that I had to ask, “You should know that it’s dangerous to leave this kind of thing in a place like this.”
I couldn’t actually see it, but I could tell that there was a change with Vivrum’s expression even though I couldn’t see it.
“Do you really think that it would be that easy to reach this place?”
I knew exactly what she was talking about.
After all, it had indeed been too easy for us to reach this place that held the Seeds of Life.
There was no doubt that the only reason that it was this easy was all because of Vivrum. The fact that she was with us made it so that many of the defenses that should have been here didn’t go off.
Still, that wasn’t exactly what I meant either.
“The elves are here for a reason aren’t they? If you really care about defending this place…” I didn’t say the rest of this, but it should have been already very clear what I meant by this.
Vivrum didn’t say anything in response as if she was hesitating a bit over this, but eventually she said, “Now is not the time.”
I didn’t say anything else after that.
She was the god here, so naturally she knew best.
It wasn’t my place to lecture a god.
Since I had found what I was looking for, it wasn’t as if there was anything else that was left for me to do.
The only thing that I was thinking was, “If she let me get closer, I would have let my system try and take a look at it.”
I was certain that Vivrum should have heard this, but since she already knew about the system as well, it was clear what her thought on this matter was.

With that, I turned to take Aisha away.
Only Aisha was still just standing there in a daze as if she didn’t know what to do.
But since she was in a daze, it was actually easier for me to pull her away.
As we walked away, there was one last thing that Vivrum said.
“Perhaps this taboo of mine will be released onto this world one day. Until that day comes, it will remain sealed in this place.”
I couldn’t help deeply knitting my brows when I heard this, but that green figure was already gone when I turned around.
As expected, there really was something planned with these Seeds of Life by the gods, it was just that they weren’t telling me anything.
The gods seemed like they had some idea of what they wanted to do in the future with these Seeds of Life. It was most likely just like how they had come up with that prophecy about me being the hero.
It wouldn’t be strange at all if the gods had the ability to look into the future.
As for how they would use that ability…
There was a part of me that was a bit frustrated that they kept this all from me, but there really wasn’t anywhere for me to vent this frustration.
The only thing that I could do was accept it and move on.
With Aisha in a daze, we were able to reach the entrance of these ruins without a problem.
Even without Vivrum with us, it seemed that there was something that stopped all of the defenses from activating which allowed us to safely make our way out of this place.
And since she made us aware of it, I did notice a few of these defenses as I walked out.
There were still many that were hidden I was sure of this, but this view of the ones that she allowed us to see was more than enough to give me some ideas.
Stealing the ideas from the gods wasn’t considered copyright, it was just flattery because of their ingenious designs.
Once we came out of the dungeon, that was when Aisha finally came back to her senses.
The moment that she did, she looked at me and asked, “Was that really Lady Vivrum?”
With how tightly she grabbed me, I couldn’t help being taken aback when she said this.
