None of the gods said a single thing when they heard this.

However, it was clear that there were a few gods that didn’t seem like they were satisfied with this explanation based on the looks that were on their faces.

In fact, it almost seemed like they were jealous because of these words.

But they made sure to keep it inside of themselves instead of showing it.

I really couldn’t help wondering who they were referring to for these gods to actually react like this.

If I had to guess, it was likely that they were referring to some kind of god since they were talking about the ‘youngest’ as the God of Creation referred to them. Only what kind of god was it that they were willing to risk everything for them.

After a long silence, Solista finally said, “Since this is for the youngest, that makes it even more wrong to do this. After all, we should take care of the youngest instead of putting them through this.”

“This is his fate.” The God of Creation said with a simple sigh.

Solista didn’t seem convinced and wanted to say something else, “Even if it is for the youngest, do you really think that this prophecy will be enough? This is the God of Destruction that we’re talking about. In the first place, there was a reason why the God of Destruction was sealed.”

The God of Creation didn’t respond this time.

With the God of Creation remaining silent like this, there was naturally an awkward silence that filled the room.

There wasn’t a single person that said a single thing as they all waited for a response from the God of Creation.

In the end, the God of Creation just calmly said, “This is the only way.”

None of the gods refuted this, but it was clear by the looks on their faces that they seemed worried about all of this.

It wasn’t strange that they were worried about this.

The words that the God of Creation said seemed almost too definitive. It was almost as if there was no other way that this matter could be settled.

After the God of Creation said this, it was as if they all froze in place.

This wasn’t because no one said anything, rather it seemed like it was because this was the end of it. It seemed that beyond this, there was nothing else for me to see.

Even though they were frozen in place like this, I was able to still walk around the room and take a look at the different things that were here in this place. The only problem was that I wasn’t able to find anything useful.

There were things that were here, but all of them seemed to be written in a language that I just couldn’t read at all.

It was as if this was done deliberately just so I couldn’t actually read anything.

But I knew that this wasn’t the case.

This was most likely because the memories didn’t have this included, so that was why it was like this.

In the first place, it was already quite a lot for me to hear what they were saying. For me to be able to read these different things as well would seem a bit overboard.

Still, there was something that I had to ask.

“What am I still doing here?”

It seemed like I was trapped in this place, it seemed like I wasn’t able to do anything at all to escape this place.

Only why would it do that?

If it was the end of the memory, shouldn’t it have sent me to where I had been before?

As I was pondering this, I felt like there was something drawing me to the desk.

I didn’t know what it was, but I went over because of this feeling.

When I came over, I found that there was a drawer that was there that had a keyhole in it.

I didn’t seem to recognize this drawer, but it felt like this was the place that was drawing me in. Only I had no idea why it was drawing me in nor did I have an idea of what I was supposed to do here.

That was until I realized that the keyhole looked like the key that I had received before coming into this memory world.

But where was I supposed to get that key?

That key wasn’t with me when I arrived in this place…

Feeling helpless, I just stopped thinking about it and raised my hand before willing the key to appear. I didn’t know how effective this would be, but there really wasn’t another choice right now.

In the end, it seemed that this was the right choice.

That was because as I held my hand up and willed the key to appear, the key actually appeared in the end.

I was a bit surprised to see the key just floating there above my hand, but I grabbed it in the end and brought it down to the drawer to insert it into the keyhole. It was a perfect fit as it went right into the keyhole.

When I opened the drawer and opened it, I was surprised to find that there was only a piece of paper inside this drawer.

I wasn’t able to actually read what was written on it just like with the rest of the pieces of paper that were scattered around the room, but I at least recognized what the picture was on this piece of paper.

It was a picture of me.

I couldn’t help knitting my brows as I looked at this before thinking to myself, “Just what do they want from me?”

After I looked at this piece of paper for a bit, the scene around me finally started to change.

It seemed like I was being sent back to where I was before.

When the scene finished changing, I was back in the same white empty space as before.
