Chapter 1517: Divine energy difference

When we came back to the rest of the group, there were many looks that were cast in our direction as if they were asking what happened.

But the head teacher just ignored everyone, including the other teachers and led the way back as he said, “Come on.”

It was clear that he didn’t want to talk about it, so the teachers just followed the head teacher’s lead silently. But the looks on their faces made it clear that they were very curious about what happened.

At the same time, the students all looked at me as if they were asking me what had happened.

After all, if the teacher wouldn’t say anything, the only one that they could ask was me.

After reaching the manor, I locked myself in my room.

There was something that I had to do alone first before anything else happened.

The moment that I made sure that there was no one else in this room and that no one was listening in on me, I started looking over my body.

If there had been someone else in the room, they would have looked at me with a strange look. After all, what I did was take off my clothes and start looking over my body like I had gone crazy.

I didn’t care as I looked at every inch of my body, but I didn’t find anything in the end which made me a bit disappointed and confused.

The reason that I did this was all because of what the God of Creation said.

The God of Creation said that there would be a change with me, but I wasn’t able to find a single thing that had changed.

However, it wasn’t as if the God of Creation would say this for no reason…so I had to believe that there was something that had changed about me.

I raised my hand and started gathering my mana for a spell, but I was also making sure that I paid close attention to the flow of mana as I gathered it. If it wasn’t something physical, then it should be related to my mana.

Only it didn’t seem like that was the case at all.

The flow of mana was the exact same as before and it didn’t even seem like I had gained more mana.

It was the exact same as before I met the God of Creation…

“Just what has changed?” I couldn’t help muttering to myself in a confused voice.

No matter how I thought about it, it really didn’t seem like what the God of Creation said was true. After all, it really didn’t seem like there was a single thing that had changed with me.

“Could it be that they were just teasing me?”

When I said this, I couldn’t help feeling that this was the case.

After all, the God of Creation had teased me quite a few times when I met them.

It seemed like this was the answer no matter how I thought about it, but I really didn’t want this to be the answer.

So in the end, I tried all kinds of different things to find a change in my body.

It was only when I was about to give up and was desperate that I found what it was.

There was a reason why divine energy was called divine energy in the first place.

Divine energy was the energy wielded by those with divinity. Divine energy was the energy that was used by the gods themselves.

So it wasn’t as if a mortal like me should have this kind of divine energy since I wasn’t a god.

“Am I becoming a god?” There was a small part of me that wondered this before quickly tossing this thought out of my mind.

How could it be that easy to become a god?

No, it had to be that Solista and the other gods did something to me to make it easier for me to fulfill my role in the prophecy.

No, it should be the seal that was released, so it should be the key that did something to me.

“Does that mean that the God of Creation wants to use me as a scapegoat as well?” I couldn’t help asking myself with a bitter smile on my face.
