Chapter 390: Inside The Competition Secret Realm
Once the participants entered the secret realm, they found themselves scattered across a vast jungle filled with towering trees, thick vines, and endless greenery.
The air was dense with the scent of fresh vegetation, and the distant calls of unseen creatures echoed through the misty forest.
The sky above was shrouded in an eerie purple glow, with the sun barely visible through the thick canopy.
Strange plants glowed faintly in the darkness, their bioluminescence casting an ethereal light over the jungle floor.
From the moment they stepped foot inside, the competitors knew one thing—this was no ordinary forest.
As the participants looked around, they quickly realized they weren’t alone.
Monsters of all shapes and sizes lurked in the shadows, their red eyes gleaming hungrily.
Some were large and intimidating, while others were small and cunning. But no matter their size or appearance, all the beasts shared a common trait—their bloodlust.
Massive beasts prowled through the underbrush, their eyes gleaming with primal hunger. Some resembled giant panthers, their sleek black fur blending into the shadows as they stalked their prey.
Others took the form of towering reptilian creatures with jagged spikes running down their backs, their heavy footsteps shaking the ground.
Further in the distance, an enormous serpent coiled around the trunk of a tree, its dark scales shimmering ominously as it watched the movements of the intruders.
This is a place where only the strongest can survive, and the weak are left to fend for themselves.
With the competition started, the participants immediately set out, their minds focused on the goal.
Some rushed headlong into the depths of the jungle, hoping to defeat as many beasts as possible. Others moved cautiously, sticking to the outskirts and avoiding the monsters altogether.
But they all tried their best to find wild beasts that they could kill as they knew that reaching the massive pagoda in the center of the secret realm early meant that they could gain the greatest advantage.
Of course, there are also those who want to avoid other contestants as much as possible.
One of the first to move was Fang Zixuan, who immediately activated his movement technique and dashed through the trees, his keen senses scanning for the strongest prey nearby.
Just a few meters away, he spotted a massive silver-furred wolf crouched low, its crimson eyes locked onto him.
“Perfect,” he muttered, gripping his sword.
The wolf lunged without warning, its claws flashing through the air.
Fang Zixuan didn’t flinch. Instead, he sidestepped at the last second, twisting his body as his blade arced forward.
“Phantom Fang Strike!”
His sword flashed like lightning, slicing through the wolf’s tough hide. The beast let out a pained howl but refused to fall. With a furious snarl, it retaliated, its claws raking toward him at blinding speed.
But Fang Zixuan was faster.
Dodging the attack, he leaped above the wolf and struck down with his sword.
“Phantom Moon Slash!”
A crescent-shaped moon blade of energy erupted from his blade, cutting deep into the monster’s back.
The wolf let out a pitiful whine and slumped to the ground, with blood flowing out of the large wound.
“That was too easy,” Fang Zixuan said, as he swiped his sword so that the blood from his sword would fly away.
He then reached into his spatial ring and pulled out a strange device that he strapped to his wrist.

“Now, to claim my reward,” he said, smiling slightly.
The device hummed with energy as he tapped a series of runes on the side. Instantly, a stream of information flowed into his mind.
“1 point…better than nothing,” he mused, his expression calm.
It’s not much, but it’s a good start.
He glanced around his senses on alert. This is a dangerous place, and there’s no telling what’s lurking nearby.
“I should be careful,” he thought.
Fang Zixuan then resumed his search for more prey, moving quickly and silently through the shadows.
Meanwhile, some distance away, Sun Yichen moved cautiously, his golden eyes scanning the dense jungle as he walked.
He could already hear the distant sounds of combat—clashes of swords, roars of beasts, and the occasional explosion from someone using a large-scale technique.
But his focus was elsewhere.
Suddenly, the bushes rustled to his left, and a group of three armored lizard creatures emerged.
Their scales gleamed like metal, and their tails, lined with sharp bone spikes, swayed menacingly.
Sun Yichen’s grip on his sword tightened.
“Looks like I found my first targets.”
The lizards hissed and charged toward him.
With a calm exhale, Sun Yichen stepped forward, his sword flashing in a golden arc.
“Golden Sun Slash!”
The first lizard didn’t even have time to react before its body was cut clean in half.
The other two screeched in fury, lunging forward in unison. Sun Yichen ducked under one’s swinging tail and countered with a precise stab, his sword piercing through the creature’s chest.
As the second one collapsed, the final lizard hesitated, sensing the overwhelming difference in power.
It turned to flee.
Sun Yichen smirked.
“You think you can run?”
He raised his sword, channeling his Qi into the blade.
“Blazing Radiance!”
A golden wave of energy shot out, slicing through the air and catching the fleeing lizard right in the back.
The creature fell with a pained cry, its body charred from the attack.
“Hmph,” Sun Yichen snorted, turning away.
“Pathetic.”
After killing the armored lizards, he reached into his spatial ring and pulled out a device similar to the one that Fang Zixuan had.
He tapped a few runes, and information flowed into his mind.
“1.5 points,” he said, pleased.
This is better than expected.
He looked around, his expression calm.
“I should keep moving. There’s still a lot more points to earn.”
As he walked, the sounds of combat grew louder, and the air became thick with the stench of blood.
All across the jungle, similar battles unfolded.
A young woman from the Qiao family, known for their body cultivation techniques, faced off against a massive ape with stone-like skin.
Her fists glowed with golden energy as she met its blows head-on, her raw power shaking the ground with every clash.
