Chapter 409: Early Voidbreak Realm
As for the people, the ones who are not in the inner circle, they are all feeling a little uneasy but as they watched the Xu family which had always been silent showing their true strength, many of the people felt relieved as the Xu family could handle this.
But what the people did not know is that the Xu family did not show their full strength and only showed a small portion of it, but they did not need to know that.
And just as everyone was preparing for the supposed challenge, Xu Qianghua, who was at the forefront of the group, suddenly felt something break inside his body.
His body trembled slightly, and a familiar yet long-forgotten surge of power rushed through his meridians.
His eyes widened slightly.
The World’s upgrade had removed the cultivation limiter, which had caused his realm to stagnate.
A limiter had been placed on him due to the laws of the lower world, preventing him from advancing beyond a certain point.
But with the world’s successful upgrade, that restriction had started to unravel.
The vast spiritual energy of the upgraded world poured into him like a dam breaking open.
His cultivation, which had been bottlenecked for so long, instantly began surging toward a breakthrough.
The audience watching him could feel the shift in the air. The spiritual energy around him became denser, and the very ground trembled beneath his feet.
It wasn’t just him.
All over Nexara, cultivators were experiencing a surge in their cultivation due to the world’s enhanced Qi.
But Xu Qianghua was different.
The sheer density of energy flooding into him made it clear that he was about to break through to the next major realm.
His aura flared wildly, his body reacting instinctively to the breakthrough process.
He smirked. “I guess I have no choice but to advance now.”
As his cultivation surged uncontrollably, he closed his eyes and allowed the breakthrough to happen naturally.
A golden halo appeared around him, and the spiritual energy surrounding him formed a swirling vortex.
He could feel his body being pushed to its limits, his muscles straining and his bones creaking under the pressure.
Then, the energy vortex intensified, and the sound of a thunderous explosion echoed throughout the surrounding area.
For a moment, everything went dark.
When he came to, the scene around him had changed.
Instead of standing in the middle of the altar, he was now hovering in the air a few hundred meters above the ground.
A golden glow enveloped his entire body, and his cultivation had risen to the Early Voidbreak realm.
His aura had also grown more powerful, and his presence could be felt across the surrounding lands.
He sighed satisfied as he descended to the ground, the spiritual energy swirling around him like a protective barrier.
He glanced at the spectators, his expression calm and collected.
“Well, that was a pleasant surprise.”
“Congratulations, Husband,” his wives greeted, their faces radiating happiness and pride.
“Indeed, congratulations, Patriarch,” the elders echoed.
“Thank you,” he replied, his voice steady.
Then, without a word, his body disappeared in a blur of movement, reappearing atop the World Altar, his aura spreading far and wide.
“Now then, let’s see who the World’s Will has sent us,” he said, his tone laced with anticipation.
“I have to admit, I was getting a little bored of the peaceful days. Let’s have a nice war.”
He had a slight smile on his face as his aura flared and the sky darkened.
….
Meanwhile, deep within the sealed dimension where the Space Pirates had been trapped for countless years, the air trembled with an ominous energy.
The once-absolute prison that had held them was now beginning to fracture, the binding sigils dimming as the first layer of the World’s Will Seal loosened.
Inside the chaotic space, five towering figures stood at the center of an enormous gathering.
Their presence alone exuded dominance, their Voidbreak Peak cultivation suppressing the weaker crew members around them.
A sinister grin stretched across the face of Garron the Butcher, one of the five vice-captains. His blood-red eyes gleamed with sadistic delight as he felt the suppression of the seal waning.
“It’s happening,” he growled, his deep voice sending chills through the gathered pirates. “After all these years, we’re finally getting out of this cursed cage.”
The pirates around him erupted into cheers and laughter, their bloodlust and greed barely contained.
“Captain, what’s the plan?” a younger pirate asked eagerly, his eyes filled with madness. “We’ve been locked up for too long—it’s time we let the world know what we’re made of!”
Garron’s twisted grin widened. “The plan? Simple.” He cracked his knuckles, his aura surging violently.
“We land, we kill, we pillage, and we find a way to break the deeper seals. If we release the main fleet, we’ll burn this world to the ground and sail the cosmos once more.”
The pirates roared in agreement, their blood boiling in anticipation.
Behind Garron, the other four vice-captains smirked. Drax the Bonebreaker, a hulking brute covered in scars, pounded his fist into his palm.
“I don’t care about your plans, Garron. I just want to hear the screams of those weaklings as I crush their bones.”
“Leave some for me,” Selina the Serpent purred, her green eyes flashing with amusement.
She licked her lips, her aura tinged with a strange, hypnotic energy. “I’ve missed breaking men’s spirits before I slit their throats.”
Rasvim the Mad, the crazed psychopath, cackled maniacally, his crimson robes fluttering in the wind. His dark eyes were filled with madness, his gaze sweeping across the gathered pirates.
“Don’t worry, my fellow captains,” he said, his voice filled with deranged glee. “I’ve got plenty of tricks up my sleeve. These pathetic mortals will wish they never challenged us!”
Finally, the last captain, a tall, elegant woman with silver hair, spoke. Her voice was soft, yet it carried an undeniable strength.
“Let us not forget the reason why we’re here,” she said, her golden eyes burning with determination. “We were sealed by the World’s Will for a reason.
She turned to her fellow captains, her expression fierce.
“Let’s not waste any time. Let’s show them what we’re capable of!”
Her words were met with a resounding cheer from the assembled pirates, their bloodlust and excitement palpable.
As the seal continued to weaken, the five captains exchanged glances, their auras flaring in anticipation.
“It’s almost time,” Garron grinned, his eyes burning with bloodlust.
