Chapter 340: A red pill
As Silva walked toward Rando, someone called out to Rando from the crowd. It was a deep and low voice, so low that people would normally not be able to pick it out from the crowd, but Rando and Silva heard it.
Rando turned around immediately upon hearing it. There was a man dressed like a noble seated there, his eyes directly looking at Rando. He suddenly took out a round, blood-red pill and tossed it to Rando.
The toss was so fast that the normal eye would not be able to pick up its movement. Rando opened his mouth, and the pill flew into it.
Like an instant chemical reaction, Rando felt a wave of energy rush through his body. His eyes glowed red. Rando turned to look at Silva.
Silva looked at Rando and could feel the strange energy he was giving off. The energy felt all too familiar, it was the same as those who had taken demon blood.
But there was something different about Rando. He didn’t become a demon. His strength spiked, he looked savage, yet he had no physical change.
Rando suddenly leaped into the air. He jumped so high he almost reached the ceiling. He clasped his hands together and raised them above his head.
He came down with a roar, ready to smash Silva into bits. Silva reacted fast, he moved out of the way before the fists hit the ground.
When the fists hit, it was like an explosion. The ground broke apart, a small crater formed under his fists, and debris flew in all directions.
Silva dodged all of it, but that backed him against the wall. Rando saw that and charged like a bull. Silva watched closely, and when Rando was about to ram him, he jumped, placed his hand on Rando’s back, and flipped over him.
Rando rammed into the wall, smashing through it. Silva landed behind him, raised his leg, and kicked Rando deeper into the wall before retreating a few steps back.
‘This is actually fun, and now I want to find out what that man gave to Rando. I have to keep an eye on him too,’ Silva thought. He made sure to keep that man at the side of his eye, watching his movements. The moment the man moved, he would know.
Rando pulled himself out of the wall and faced Silva. He didn’t waste a second before charging at Silva again. Whatever that pill was, it gave him strength but made him savage. The way he was fighting, the way he moved, it was like he was not in control.
Rando threw wild, open punches, but Silva easily dodged them. With every punch he dodged, he struck Rando, slowly weakening him.
Rando got enraged, but he still couldn’t land a hit against Silva, even after the barrage of punches. Finally, Silva went in for the finish, landing punches to the neck and head.
At last, Rando could no longer fight back. He fell to his knees and collapsed to the ground. The referee walked to his side to check if Rando was still in the game, but Rando had passed out.
Before he could even announce Silva as the winner, Silva had already moved. He noticed that the man he was watching had left the arena, so he gave chase. He jumped over the wall into the crowd.
The people in the crowd tried to grab him or touch him, after all, he was the one who won, but Silva was too fast. He charged through the crowd.
He spotted the man walking outside and followed. He didn’t allow the door to close, slipping out of the arena.
The man at the door was shocked to see Silva, but before he could stop him, Silva had already bolted outside.
Silva ran out of the Pig’s Pot without a shirt. He pulled one out of his ring and put it on immediately. He followed the man, who was walking down the street.
The man seemed to notice someone was following him, so he sped up his pace and suddenly turned into an alley.
Silva knew the man was planning something, but regardless, he followed. As soon as he walked in, a blade was placed on his neck.
“Why are you following me? Death wish?” the man asked in his low, bass tone, his eyes completely focused. He would definitely kill Silva if he made any suspicious move.
Silva smirked. He looked at the man and spoke. “You fed something to Rando. All I want is to know what that was and how you got it.
After all, Rando became extremely strong after taking it.”
“You saw that?” the man asked.
“Would I be asking about it if I hadn’t seen it?” Silva asked.
“Keep being a sarcastic bitch with me and see where that takes you,” the man said. His voice was deep and heavy, making his warning carry a heavy impact.
“Well, tell me about it,” Silva said, completely disregarding the warning.

“You managed to defeat one of the strongest men here, even when he was on the drug. I’m sure you don’t need the pill,” the man said.
“One can never be too strong,” Silva said.
The man looked closely at Silva. He dropped the blade and spoke.
“Follow me. I’ll take you somewhere that can help you get stronger,” he said and walked out of the alley. Silva followed behind.
The man walked through the crowded streets. He kept walking until he reached a quiet street. The street grew lonelier and lonelier until they arrived at an old manor.
The man headed for the manor. He reached the gates, and a guard at the gate opened the door, allowing both of them to enter.
Silva felt a strange air about this place. There was something off-putting about it, but he didn’t say anything. He followed quietly, after all, he had a mission here. This might be a good lead to the demon blood.
