Chapter 410: Stupid Greed
Greed was not like the other demons. He wasn’t extremely big, having the height of an average human. His skin had a rose-gold color; his eyes flashed red, and he had two long curved horns on his head and massive wings on his back.
His black hair flowed down to his waist. His black armor matched the hair and gave a beautiful contrast to his skin as well.
“So you are the General of Greed, the person that took away the air so that demons can’t fly. That’s really greedy,” Silva said.
Greed didn’t speak for a while. He stared at Silva as if trying to understand how this creature was able to fly.
“If you are wondering how I was able to fly despite the fact that you made some sort of bullshit law around here, well, don’t think too hard—you’ll fry your brain,” Silva said.
“You are a dark dragon,” Greed suddenly said.
“Well, yeah, it seems all of you can already tell that just by looking at me,” Silva said.
“No, there is something different, something wrong with you,” Greed said. His eyes shifted down to see Terra standing there. He looked at the spirit, and a heavy amount of apprehension filled his heart.
He didn’t know why, but his instinct told him that if he didn’t move at this instant, he would die. He stretched out his hands, and his sword appeared in them.
It looked like a terrifyingly strong blade, red pulses running across the black blade. The aura around it made the air tremble.
Greed moved, reaching Silva in an instant. His sword stabbed through Silva cleanly, and blood started pouring instantly.
“Hahahahaha, I overestimated you. I can’t believe you made me feel scared, you little dragon,” Greed said.
“So you are scared of me?” Silva asked.
Greed was shocked. He pushed back immediately, pulling his sword from Silva’s stomach. He didn’t understand how Silva was still alive after taking that attack.
He looked at Silva’s stomach, where he had stabbed. It was evident that he had stabbed him, yet the blood had stopped, and the wound had healed.
“Why do you look so confused? Did you really think that an attack like that would be enough? Sadly, no. You’ll have to do far more than that to be able to take me down, Greed,” Silva said. He pointed Abyssal Blade at Greed. “You should die by this,” he said with a smile.
From the top of the sword, a black fire bullet shot out at an amazing speed. Greed moved as fast as he could and dodged the attack, but the heat from the flames still hurt his armor and skin a little.
“Black flames? How do you have access to black flames?” Greed asked, not caring that he had just been injured.
“I don’t know how I got them, and if I did, I wouldn’t even tell you. Now stop the chatter and try to survive,” Silva said, his sword still pointed at Greed. He began firing fire bullets in rapid succession.
Greed could not dodge the attacks, so he switched to blocking, doing all he could to block them. But to his shock, the bullets started melting his sword.
Greed could not believe his eyes. How could Silva do that? Without any other choice, he pulled out another sword in the heat of battle. It gave off the same aura as the one Zareth had used when she battled Silva’s crawler.
Silva stopped attacking when he saw that sword. He pointed at it and spoke.
“What is that? Tell me about that sword,” he said.
“Oh, so you sense it too? The immense power that is inside this sword? This is my God Slayer—the Eater,” Greed said with pride. He charged at Silva, moving more confidently as he attacked. He smashed the sword, and Silva dodged, but a large cut still appeared on Silva’s chest.
The cut healed immediately, but Silva was shocked that he was cut even after he dodged.
“Hahahahah, there is no way to dodge the Eater. Once it cuts, it will cut whatever it was targeted at, regardless of if you dodge, as long as the slash is completed.”
“You are a really dumb general, you know? I hope the others have more brain cells than you. It’s like the last of your brain cells were used up before you came up.
Why would you outright tell me your skill and also how to stop it?” Silva asked, a genuine look of concern on his face.
“I don’t know what you are talking about, but I will kill you and take your power as my own. I’ll add you to myself and make myself stronger,” Greed said.
He charged again and went for another slash, but this time Silva locked it with his sword and kicked Greed in the chest, sending him down, smashing into the ground, and creating a crater under him.

“As long as I don’t let you complete the slash, you can’t touch me, right?” Silva asked.
Greed’s eyes widened as he discovered that Silva already knew how to stop him.
“Stop looking at me like you weren’t the one that told me how to kill you myself. I’m done with this shit,” Silva said in a tired tone. He glanced at Terra, and she understood what to do.
A massive sword of light formed above Greed and then began descending. Greed tried to get away, but some force was holding him down. The sword landed and caused an explosion. The bright light shined for a few hundred meters before going back down.
“Now that I know I can also deal with the generals so easily, this whole thing will not be an issue. I should rush through it,” Silva said. He looked around for Zareth and found her behind a rock.
“Come and lead the way if you’re done with hiding. I killed your stupid general. Damn, that dude was stupid. Greed should not be stupid; they need to be smart to take stuff,” Silva complained.
