Everyone’s attention immediately gathered towards one person.

The oldest prince who shouted immediately felt awkward as he did that on a whim.

“Oh, are you the one who’s behind all of this?” Cain asked as he thought that Valen Frostbane was the one who was behind his assassination, and he interrupted halfway because he didn’t want to get exposed.

“Uhh, No?” Valen answered with a confused expression and continued. “I just want to talk with these two strong people that came with you.”

“Huh? Go on then.” Cain was confused and decided to let him do what he wanted to do, as he was also curious about it.

As for the matter about Valen being one of the people who was behind it or not, it was another matter, and he didn’t mind waiting for a bit since the truth will come to light sooner or later anyway.

Cain even thought that Valen must have felt threatened as his possibility of being the next king was the highest between the princes and princesses, and with him having two GrandLord Rank Awakeners as his subordinates, it was basically almost the same as a guarantee for him to become the next king since there’s no other stronger people in the kingdom that could oppose him.

“Do you think that these two people are working with me because of benefits? What do you think about it, Anya, Dante?” Cain stopped laughing and asked Valen as he had enough fun.

“No, we are not working for you because of benefits, My Lord.”

Anya and Dante immediately kneeled on one knee and surprised everyone present.

“See? Let me tell you the reason why they served me.”

When Cain said it, everyone instantly prepared their ears carefully as they were curious about it.

Cain explained as he shrugged shamelessly and looked at everyone with a mocking, sullen expression.

“Oldest prince, stop it right now and think carefully about it.” A middle-aged man in a black robe whispered to Valen as he lowered Valen’s hand before apologizing to Cain.

“Youngest prince, I apologize for the Oldest prince’s interruption. You can continue your investigation now.”

The middle-aged man bowed and cupped his fist, apologizing to Cain as he was scared that Cain might even attack the oldest prince because of the interruption.

“Whatever, that was fun anyway.” Cain waved his hand and ordered Anya to continue her interrogation.

“Tell me, who’s the one who ordered you to kill the youngest prince?”

Anya asked with a chill voice as she had been holding her killing intention since she really wanted to tear apart the bitch in front of her and all of the people who’s involved in it.

“It’s him.” Cain’s ex-fiancee pointed her finger at one of the princes, who instantly shuddered when he was being pointed at.

“What is that freaking nonsense? Can’t she also ask her to frame me if she’s under her illusion?”

The third prince immediately became furious and pointed his finger while looking at the others, as he wanted to gather everyone’s opinion since his remarks did make sense.

“Yeah, that’s true..”

“Such a slander.”

One by one started to express their opinion, and there were around a dozen people who agreed with the third prince.

“You! What’s your job, and what did you contribute to this kingdom?”

Cain pointed to one of the people who agreed with the third prince as he noticed that this man’s belly was big, which meant that this guy was loaded.

“M-Me? I’m one of the people who manage our kingdom’s financial management. Why?” The fat man shivered when he didn’t expect that Cain asked him a weird question.

“Oh, so you’re one of the people who manage our kingdom’s finances… No wonder your belly is big. Have you ever committed corruption?” Cain then asked him with a playful smile.

“N-No. Of course not, I’ve never done any corruption in my entire life.” The fat man answered with a slight trembling voice.

“Dante, capture him.” Cain waved his hand, ordering Dante to capture the fat man.

Dante immediately executed the order perfectly as he vanished into thin air before appearing behind the fat man and grabbing his neck. “If you dare to resist, I will snap your neck immediately.”

Dante then brought the man in front of Anya and let her hypnotize the fat man, as he knew the reason why Cain ordered him to do so.

“Look at me.” Anya said as she looked at the fat man’s eyes directly and used her talent [Illusion Manipulation].

Her eyes immediately shimmered with a faint, red light, and even if the fat man resisted it, he still immediately fell under Anya’s illusion since the difference between their strength was huge in the first place.

The fat man’s expression became the same as the other two right away, resulting in Dante releasing his grip after he confirmed that the fat man had already been hypnotized.

“Have you ever committed corruption?” Anya asked with a playful smile.

“Yes.” The fat man nodded his head at Anya’s question.

“When was the last time you did it? And tell me the details.” Anya asked once again.

“The last time was just a few days ago, and…”

Before the fat man explained further, Cain cut him off.

“Stop!.” Cain ordered Anya to stop him from explaining further since he didn’t want to hear the details either.

“Hmmph! Can you guys hear that? Now, who agrees with the third prince?” Dante snorted and looked at everyone present inside the hall.

Looking that there’s no one who agreed with the third prince anymore, Cain immediately ordered Dante.

“Dante, kill him at the outside hall because our rules stated that people who committed corruption were to be executed at once.”

Subsequently, Dante threw the fat man outside the door and used his [Dark Slash] skill, and instantly killed the fat man by splitting his body into half cleanly.

When everyone saw the youngest prince’s action, the situation immediately became tense once again as they realized that the youngest prince was really serious about this because Cain hadn’t killed anyone inside the hall and only injured them before.

Especially the king, who felt that the situation had gone out of control and he couldn’t do anything since Cain had two people who were stronger than anyone else in this kingdom.

The king then had the thought of asking for help from the Velmara Kingdom’s envoy, who’s obviously stronger than the two people Cain had brought with, as he knew that the envoy of all first-rate forces had basically reached a Dominator Rank.
