“Why are you all staring at us with those ridiculous expressions?” Cain’s sharp gaze swept over the crowd.

The onlookers’ faces reflected a mix of fear, awe, and confusion as they observed him and Fenix.

When everyone heard Cain’s complaint, they immediately diverted their attention as they were terrified by Cain’s way of handling things.

Looking at a few city guards approaching him in a hurry, Cain thought that he was in another trouble and immediately made a quick plan in case they wanted to trouble him.

His plan was simple: just blame them for letting this kind of thing happen in their presence as they didn’t even help him.

However, things were not as Cain had expected because as soon as the city guards were in front of him, they immediately bowed while cupping their fists.

“Welcome to Lunovale City, young master,” the captain said loudly, his tone filled with regret.

“I deeply apologize for allowing such an incident to occur before you even entered the city. This was my failure, and I accept full responsibility.

Please, if there must be punishment, let it fall on me alone, because this is entirely my own fault and has nothing to do with the other guards or even the kingdom.”

When the other guards heard it, they tried to take the blame too but immediately shut their mouths when they heard their captain’s voice.

“Quiet!” The captain tilted his head for a moment as he looked at his subordinates before continuing,

“Sir, as I said before, this is entirely my fault. Please don’t implicate the innocents.”

When Fenix heard it, he instantly took a heavy step forward and said, “My lord, shall we deal with this worthless man here and now? It would save us the trouble of wasting time later.”

Fenix released a little bit of his killing intent that instantly made the captain guard’s entire body shiver.

Cain waved his hand in response and said, “Stop fooling around, Fenix. We have more important matters to attend to.”

After walking for more than ten minutes, they had finally arrived in front of a huge mansion with two majestic fire lion statues in front of the door.

In front of the door, there were already two guards who seemed to have been waiting upon their arrival.

The guards immediately led the way into the main hall, followed by only Alen and butler Hu behind them with a fearful expression, as Alen’s servant wasn’t allowed to go inside with them.

Cain and Fenix, however, followed leisurely, exuding an air of indifference as if the mansion were their backyard in the first place.

After they arrived in front of a huge ornate hall adorned with intricate carvings of lions. They heard a majestic man’s voice from behind the massive doors ahead.

“Come in.”

Before stepping in, Cain discreetly reactivated his system’s scan function and scanned the hall.

Because he had deactivated the scan function the moment he scanned a lot of treasures as he was afraid to be consumed by his greedy emotion and might even plan some crazy shit after scanning these treasures.

When he scanned the entire hall, he was surprised because he scanned a lot of people who had reached King Rank Beast Masters and Awakeners.

The hall was filled with individuals of remarkable strength.
