“Thank you, Young Master Cain!” The family head immediately bowed when he heard Cain’s words as he finally saw a glimmer of hope in him becoming a Conqueror Rank Beast Master.

Cain and Fenix strolled leisurely through the city, stopping at various shops.

Cain purchased daily necessities and furniture, intending to build a house within his beast space for a haven for him to take a rest if he ever tired and needed to have a rest.

Eventually, Cain found a big restaurant and stepped inside to gather information, knowing the place was buzzing with conversations about big events, rumors, etc.

However, his objective wasn’t only to gather information, as he had been eager to experience the taste of the wine from this fantasy world for a while.

After sitting at a table by a window on the second floor while overlooking the bustling city, Cain then flagged down a waiter and ordered all of the best food and the finest wine this restaurant offered.

Shortly after, a waitress in her early twenties, dressed in a graceful red robe, brought over the food and the wine that Cain and Fenix had ordered.

After the waitress put down the food and the wine, Cain seized the opportunity and asked,

“Could you tell me how to get to the Starlight Auction House?”

Cain asked because he was new in the city and wanted to go there after taking a rest, as he was exhausted mentally after experiencing a lot of things in a day.

“Oh, is this your first time in the city?” The waitress asked with a graceful smile.

Cain nodded. “Yes, I’m new here. I’d appreciate your help.”

Sliding a low-rank Platinum Crystal toward her, he added, “Take this for your trouble.”

Since he had just acquired a lot of wealth by taking half of the Flarehart Family’s treasures of Lord Rank and above, he didn’t mind spending a little bit of money on something like this.

Fortunately he had bought the daily necessities and the furniture for the house, so he had a lot of energy crystals below Lord Rank.

Otherwise, he wouldn’t have any energy crystals below Lord Rank as there were no treasures below Lord Rank inside the Flarehart family’s treasure room.

When the waitress saw that Cain wanted to give her something in exchange for mere information that everyone in the city knew about, she immediately shook her head and said.

“There’s no need for something like this, sir. Everyone in the city knows about it, and you can even ask them too. So, you don’t need to give something in return.”

Even though she said something like that, she still looked at the energy crystal with glittering eyes before explaining,

“As for the Starlight Auction House’s location, you’ll be able to find it if you head towards the city center since its building is the largest there.”

Cain noted her restraint, a rare quality in this harsh world.

Despite her evident need, she refused to take advantage of the situation.

He smiled warmly. “Take it anyway. It’s nothing to me, but it could mean something to you.”

“This…” The waitress hesitated for a little bit before glancing between Cain and the crystal before finally accepting it with a bow.

“Thank you, sir. If you need anything else, please don’t hesitate to ask.”

“You may go now,” Cain said with a dismissive wave of his hand. Then, with a polite nod, he added,

“And thanks for the directions, by the way.”

“Oh, okay then. I’ll go now since there are more customers these days.” The waitress said before hurrying off.

Cain nodded in response and instantly uncorked the wine, savoring a sip of it.

‘The taste is really different. I can even feel an extremely small amount of energy in the wine.’

Cain thought to himself, as he thought that the fine wine he had been paying for thousands of dollars on Earth was pale in comparison to this wine.

Fenix, however, grimaced after his first sip. “Trash. How dare they call this the best wine?”

Cain’s good mood instantly ruined after hearing Fenix’s remark.

“Fenix, go inside my beast space and build a simple house for me,” Cain said with a playful smile.

“Because I want to have some rest after this.”

“Can’t we just stay at an inn? It would be much more comfortable,” Fenix grumbled, his expression sour after enduring the disappointment of the so-called ‘best wine.’

“Just build it seriously. I’ll wait here while you get it done.” Cain said as he waved his hand and put Fenix into the beast space.

He then instructed the system to move the necessary equipment and furniture from his inventory into the beast space, ensuring everything was ready for the construction.
