Meanwhile, in a room somewhere on the second floor, a beautiful girl and an old man sat together, chatting happily while playing chess.

Suddenly, the old man took a white jade token from his waist and exclaimed, “Young lady, it’s time for you to learn.”

“Follow me to meet the person in charge, sir.”

The receptionist said, walking ahead while Cain and Fenix followed behind.

While on the way, Cain looked around curiously, as this was his first time experiencing visiting a big shop that sells everything.

Contrary to the Starlight Auction House’s name that looks like a force that only focused on auctions, it was actually just the same as every other merchant who dealt in everything profitable.

Cain had heard that The Starlight Auction House’s name originated from the first time they got into the business as an auction house.

As the time went by, the auction became bigger, and they branched out towards what they were now.

After the receptionist led Cain and Fenix into a room on the second floor, and before the receptionist could knock on the door, there was an old man’s voice from the inside,

“Come in.”

Cain and Fenix then walked inside as the receptionist opened the door and gestured for them to enter on their own.

As Cain walked inside, he saw an old man in a white robe with long white hair sitting in a chair, stroking his long white beard as he looked towards him and Fenix curiously, and a gorgeous young maid stood near the table.

The old man immediately halted his stroke on the beard as he was shocked when he examined Fenix since he detected that Fenix had reached Mid-level Conqueror Rank Awakener.

However, the one that shocked him the most was that he sensed an unknown danger from Fenix even though he had reached the Peak-level Conqueror Rank.

The old man instantly continued stroking his beard while keeping an eye on Fenix and was ready to make a move whenever he felt something was wrong.

He then looked at Cain and became surprised again as he couldn’t detect his rank.

After a quick thought, the old man guessed that it would only be normal for Cain to wear a high-level treasure that could hide his rank from him since Cain was even accompanied by Fenix, who had reached Mid-level Conqueror Rank.

After Cain and Fenix stepped inside, Cain immediately sat in front of the old man while Fenix remained standing beside him, exuding a protective presence.

The maid immediately prepared a glass of tea and poured it in front of Cain before pouring tea for the old man.

The maid was gorgeous, with a graceful body that was already mature for her young age and long silver hair. She was dressed in a black and white maid’s dress.

“Since this is our first meeting, allow me to introduce myself. I am Liang Feng, but you may call me Old Feng. I belong to a branch family of the Liang Clan, the founders of the Starlight Auction House. For now, I’m overseeing this branch.”

Liang Feng smiled kindly while introducing himself and explained a little bit since his situation was kind of weird, as someone that could be said to be one of the strongest in this world was sitting in a place like this.

Cain nodded respectfully. “Pleasure to meet you, Old Feng. My name is Cain Frostbane. I’m here for three reasons.” He raised three fingers.

“First,” Cain began, “I want to purchase alchemy refining materials, specifically those of Dominator and King Ranks.” Cain explained before waving his hand, signaling Fenix to give the list of the medicine materials.

While they were on the way here, Cain had ordered Fenix to list the materials needed for refining the Mystic Cloud Medicine Liquid of Dominator Rank.

Cain also gave him a spatial ring filled with all of the alchemy refining materials that he got from the Flarehart Family and asked Fenix to tell him what pills and medicine liquids of at least Dominator Rank that he could make from all of the materials he just gave him.

Even though Cain had ransacked half of the Flarehart treasury’s room and got a lot of alchemy refining materials, Fenix said that he still needed quite a few materials for him to make the pills and medicine liquids Cain had requested after Fenix told him the list of the pills and medicine liquids that he could make from the materials Cain had given him.

“Here’s the list of the materials that we want to buy.” Fenix tossed a scroll of paper filled with the list of the materials.

Old Feng caught it and read for a few seconds before nodding, “Let me confirm if we have these in stock.”

Old Feng then took the white jade token from his waist and asked someone to check if this branch had the materials that Cain and Fenix wanted to buy.

After waiting for a few seconds, Old Feng got the reply and smiled at Cain. “We have everything you’re looking for. Is there anything else?”

Cain nodded as he was satisfied and thought that if The Starlight Auction House didn’t even have them, he might even have to go to another place or let them transfer the materials from another branch.

“That’s good. Second, I’d like to auction some medicinal liquids and pills. Though, I’ll deliver the items later today or by tomorrow at the latest.”

“Oh, What kind of items will you be auctioning?” Old Feng asked curiously because he expected to see something interesting, as the one who will auction it was accompanied by a strong man that he deemed dangerous.

“You’ll see soon enough, but I can tell you one of them might catch your interest. It is a medicinal liquid that enhances the ability to boost the stats by 3x in absorbing energy from energy stones, training, killing beasts, etc. Though, the highest medicinal liquid that we can produce at the moment is only at Dominator Rank.” Cain explained with a smirk.
