Chapter 59: Liang Feng vs Fenix
Old Feng was surprised when he heard it because the best medicine liquid on the market had the effect of only doubling the boost at most. Even the gorgeous maid couldn’t hide her shock, though she quickly composed herself within seconds.
Unfortunately for The Starlight Auction House, the highest medicinal liquid that Cain could produce was only at Dominator Rank.
Otherwise, it would’ve become a revolutionary product, elevating their reputation to unparalleled heights if they could officially cooperate with Cain.
Nevertheless, even at its current level, it would be highly sought after by cultivators of Dominator Rank and below.
“These medicinal pills and liquids would undoubtedly become priorities for the first-rate and second-rate forces—if their quality is as extraordinary as you claim.” Old Feng smiled and expressed his doubts.
Because he wanted to confirm about the goods before spreading the information, since if the quality wasn’t the same as Cain said before, their reputation would be ruined for spreading misinformation to increase the masses for the auction.
Old Feng’s thoughts about his doubts made sense since even the best medicinal liquid that was sold in the Main World only had doubling the effects at most.
“You don’t need to worry about quality. The one who can refine these medicines is right in front of you.” Cain waved his hand, reassuring Old Feng before looking at Fenix.
“Oh, are you also an alchemist, sir…?” Old Feng asked with a tone of asking Fenix’s name.
Fenix smirked in response. “I’m Fenix, and my alchemy skill is just so-so. However, you don’t need to worry about the quality because I’ll guarantee you with my neck on the line.”
“You’re too humble, Sir Fenix,” Old Feng replied with a respectful nod, his demeanor softening after he knew that Fenix was an esteemed alchemist master. “If you say so, I’ll trust your word.”
Alchemist was one of the most prestigious professions in this novel since only talented and genius people could become one.
Their ability to create pills and medicinal liquids that supported cultivation paths made them indispensable.
Even powerful factions avoided offending them unless absolutely necessary.
“Hmmph!” Fenix only snorted Fenix snorted dismissively, clearly uninterested in flattery.
“My last objective coming here is to acquire the Ice Dragon blood essence, and I’d like to buy it directly from you.” Cain said it calmly, looking directly into the Old Feng’s eyes.
When Old Feng heard it, he immediately frowned, thinking that Cain must be joking since the Starlight Auction House had already spread the information to the top forces in this Low-level World.
So, if at that time they cancelled the Ice Dragon blood essence to be sold, their reputation would be ruined in an instant.
“Young Master Cain, you must be joking. The Starlight Auction House has already advertised the Ice Dragon blood essence to the top forces in this world. Canceling its sale now would ruin our reputation.”
Old Feng explained as he shook his head while looking at Cain with a solemn expression.
Cain only smiled in response and said. “It’s not that your auction house can’t sell it to me—it’s that the current deal doesn’t make it worth the risk for you. But…” Cain leaned forward, his voice calm yet cutting.
“You’ll have no choice but to make the deal at the end of the day, considering the safety of your young princess.” His gaze shifted to the maid standing nearby.
Cain guessed that the maid was almost certain to be the daughter from the main family and should be the family head’s daughter, as she could be considered as a rare genius even in the Main World.
Because she had reached the Peak-level Dominator Rank at such a young age, and Cain knew that it was definitely impossible if she wasn’t from the main family in the main world.
When the beautiful maid heard it, she immediately became shocked for a split second before coming back to her senses and jumping towards Old Feng, seeking his protection.
Old Feng’s expression immediately became blackened as his hand moved towards the sword at his waist, preparing to make a move while locking his eyes on Fenix’s movement.
“You dare threaten me? You’re underestimating me too much, young man.” Old Feng said with an angry expression as he glanced at Cain while still monitoring Fenix’s movements.
“How confident are you?” Cain asked casually while looking at Fenix, who smiled playfully as if he didn’t take the old man seriously.
“My Lord, aren’t you looking down on me too much? if it comes to a fight, you already know how it’ll end, don’t you? Even though the old man is really strong, he wouldn’t be a problem for me.” Fenix chuckled at Cain’s question.
Old Feng deepened his frown when he heard that Fenix didn’t take him seriously when he was only at Mid-level Conqueror Rank while he had reached the Peak-level Conqueror Rank.

Let alone the fact that he was one of the strongest people in this entire Low-level World and the strongest person in the Starlight Auction House, who was ordered to act secretly to become the young miss’ bodyguard, he was confident in his strength that at least nobody in this world could win against him without paying a heavy price.
Let alone underestimating him like Fenix did, which made the old man’s pride take a huge hit because he thought that Fenix might have looked down on him just because he was an Alchemist who was known for their reputation for being arrogant.
If he hadn’t been on his important duty of protecting the young princess of The Starlight Auction House, he would’ve directly attacked Fenix for his empty words and disrespecting him even though he was an alchemist since Fenix was the one who started it.
“Are you confident in those words?” Old Feng grinned his teeth and looked at Fenix as he was pissed by his words.
“Hahaha.” Fenix only laughed in response before replying with a chuckle.
Fenix’s grin widened. “How about this?” His tone suddenly grew serious, his playful demeanor vanishing.
“If you can survive even one move from me, I’ll offer you my loyalty. I’ll become your slave, refine pills for you for the rest of my life, or even be your dog if that’s what you want. So? Do you dare?”
The room grew tense as Fenix’s words hung in the air. His gaze locked with Old Feng’s, daring him to take the challenge.
