Chapter 68: An Arrogant Young Master
As they stepped on the sixth floor, Cain saw a lot of tables that were almost full, as there were a lot of people enjoying their meals and wine on their own.

He guessed that these people might have arrived early as they wanted to participate in the big auction that will be held by the Starlight Auction House tomorrow night.

Each table was filled with someone that had reached at least King Rank. Some people had even reached the Conqueror Rank.

Cain then looked for an empty table and found a perfect place, as he saw that there was an empty table by the window.

However, when he was halfway to the table, Cain was stopped by a young man in his early twenties who had reached Mid-level Lord Rank Awakener since this person was standing in front of him with his hands crossed on his chest while looking at the little girl and the boy with a disgusted expression.

“Stop!”

Why are you bringing such filthy slaves here? Get out! Just looking at them ruins my appetite.”

The young man asked with an arrogant expression as if he also looked down on Cain, who only brought dirty-looking slaves with him and didn’t seem to have any guardian with him.

Cain didn’t look at the young man as his attention was focusing on the little girl who grasped his clothes tightly and looked at the young man in front of him with a scared expression.

The boy also immediately tagged down Cain’s clothes and said softly, “Let’s go to another place, we can eat anywhere else.”

Cain only smiled and patted the boy’s head and reassured him. “Don’t worry, trust me.”

He then petted the little girl’s head. “Little girl, close your eyes and ears for a little bit until I tell you to open them again, okay?”

The little girl instantly closed her eyes tightly while pressing her small hands against her ears so that she couldn’t hear anything.

“Move!” Cain said with a calm expression as he continued walking forward.

When the young man saw Cain seemed to not care about his warning at all, he became annoyed and shouted. “Hey, did you not hear what I just said? I asked you to stop and get out of this place with your filthy sla…”

Before he could finish his sentence, Cain had already arrived in front of him and slapped him, sending him flying to the side.

A middle-aged man in his late 50s with red hair and wearing a red robe immediately caught the young man and asked with a worried expression.

“Young Master, are you okay?”

The young man became angry when he was being embarrassed in front of many people because Cain slapped him out of nowhere.

“What are you doing right now? Capture him for me!” The young man ordered as he pointed his finger at Cain, who looked at him with a mocking smile.

When Cain heard it, he summoned Fenix abruptly without informing him at all since the situation was urgent as he couldn’t defend himself against the middle-aged man.

When Fenix was being summoned in the outside world, his position was sitting cross-legged while his hands were extending forward as if there was a cauldron in front of him and his hands were touching the cauldron like an alchemist when they were still in the middle of refining something.

Fenix then opened his eyes since he felt something was wrong and realized that he was summoned by Cain without even informing him at all.

His emotions were immediately piled up with anger, but he didn’t dare to vent it at Cain, so he asked Cain with an angry voice, “Who is this dumb fuck that I need to deal with, My Lord?”

“Both of them.” Cain pointed his finger at the young man and the middle-aged man, who was about to charge at him but stopped when he saw Fenix appear in front of Cain out of nowhere with a weird posture.

“These two motherfuckers—” Fenix stood up and stretched his neck and palms before walking towards them with a wicked smile.

“Don’t kill them.” Cain reminded Fenix as he walked towards the table by the window, followed by the boy who was curiously glancing at Fenix from time to time.

As Cain and the boy sat by the tables next to a window, Cain immediately used his power to make a small barrier around him and the little girl since he didn’t want the little girl disrupted by the disturbance that Fenix was about to make as he noticed that Fenix was already face to face with the middle-aged man who stood in front of the young man.

“Do you know what you have done?” Fenix asked with a harmless smile.

The middle-aged man was nervous because the moment Fenix walked towards him, he checked Fenix’s rank, but he couldn’t detect anything.

He then thought of two possibilities: either Fenix used a king rank treasure to hide his rank or his rank was higher than his in the first place.

However, thinking of how confident Fenix was and from the danger he sensed the moment Fenix approached him, he was sure that Fenix had reached at least Conqueror Rank Awakener.

“Sir, please forgive my young master’s faults, as he is still young and sometimes acts rashly.” The middle-aged man apologized as he cupped his fist and bowed slightly at Fenix.

“No, No, No.” Fenix only shook his head slightly as he responded.

“You’re apologizing to the wrong person. Even if my lord forgives you, I won’t. You disturbed me during a refinement, wasting my precious alchemy materials.” His tone turned icy.

Subsequently, Fenix used his power to envelope his hands with red flames before he moved at a fast speed and immediately appeared in front of the middle-aged man.

Before the middle-aged man could react, Fenix’s hand had already grabbed his face and smashed his head on the floor, creating a big crater.
