“State your business! If you have no valid reason to be here, you’ll be treated as intruders and barred from entering the Huo Family estate.” One of the guards stepped forward and said with a firm expression.

“Fenix, take it easy on them. They’re just doing their job.” Cain waved his hand.

Hearing the order, Fenix stepped forward with a grin across his face.

“Didn’t you hear me? I said stop, or we’ll be forced to use violence!” One of the other guards stepped forward and placed his hand on the sword in his waist.

“Move!” Fenix said as he kept walking leisurely while stretching his hands.

All of the guards, including the captain, who had reached Peak-level Dominator Rank, immediately drew their swords and stood there firmly looking at Fenix.

In response, Fenix enveloped his palms with fire while still walking towards the guards.

“Go!” The captain ordered one of the guards on his left to attack Fenix when he saw that Fenix was already only 20 meters away from them.

A man who was in his early 30s immediately charged forwards at Fenix and slashed his sword down, aiming to slash Fenix in half.

Fenix only raised his hand as he caught the sword with his bare hand that was enveloped with fire and slapped the man on his cheek, flying him away to the side.

“I told you to move.” Fenix said with a smile.

“You! How dare you make a fuss in the Huo family? Do you not fear the wrath of the Huo family? The captain stepped forward and looked at Fenix with a frown.

The captain realized that Fenix was really strong to the point of him being helpless as he couldn’t do anything about it.

That’s why he used the Huo Family as a threat to threaten Fenix since it would be pointless with them stopping him if Fenix was adamant in going inside the Huo Family.

“I had an appointment with your patriarch.” Fenix said it casually as he continued his walk.

The captain waited for a few seconds before bowing, “Oh, why don’t you say that from earlier if you have an appointment with the patriarch? I’m sorry for our rudeness that we just showed. It’s just a misunderstanding.”

Before one of the guards could finish his sentence, he immediately shut his mouth when he saw the cold glare the captain gave to him.

“Open the door.” The captain ordered as he waved his hand and stepped aside, opening the way to Fenix.

Two of the guards immediately opened the doors before joining their captain in welcoming Fenix.

Looking at the early problem that was solved, Cain started walking towards the gate.

“You can head further, and someone will naturally guide you to meet the patriarch.” The captain informed as he made a gesture with a slight bow.

Fenix only nodded in response and decided to head inside first to see the situation as he noticed that Cain had already followed him behind.

However, what Fenix and Cain didn’t expect was that when Cain passed in front of the guards, the captain immediately charged at him as if he wanted to capture him.

The reason why the captain did this was because he knew that Fenix was lying, because everyone who wanted to visit the Huo Family needed to hand the invitation letter to the guard before they let them in.

That’s why the captain waited for a few seconds before he decided to play along as he gave Fenix a few seconds to hand over the invitation letter, but Fenix didn’t seem to even know about this.

He also chose to capture Cain to hold him as a hostage since he knew that Cain must be important to Fenix.

He guessed that because he heard the previous conversation from Cain and Fenix since they didn’t even bother to hide it too.

Unfortunately for the captain guard, the moment he charged at Cain, Fenix immediately noticed it and disappeared from his position, leaving behind an afterimage because of the fast speed he moved.

When the captain guard felt that everything was within his grasp, he instantly felt something was wrong as he looked at Cain, who tilted his head and looked at him with a mocking smile.

Before he could react, the captain guard found that his head was on the ground in an instant as he felt that the back of his head was scorching.

“What a cheap trick.” Fenix chuckled as he slammed the captain guard’s head on the ground.
