Chapter 77: Nix’s Third Battle
Fenix decided to give his treasures to Cain because he was bored with robbing other forces for something he literally regarded as pennies.

When Cain heard it, his smile immediately disappeared and changed into a flat expression as he looked at Fenix while asking the system.

‘System, can I refund a summoned character? Even if you changed it into someone less powerful or unique, I don’t mind it.’

“Nix, please hold my body tightly.” Cain instructed Nix as he looked at Fenix, who seemed to be waiting for his answer.

Nix was confused why his master instructed him to hold his body tightly, but he still did it since it was his master’s order.

The moment Nix’s claw held his body tightly, Cain immediately crashed out as he swung his arms, tried to charge at Fenix, etc while shouting at Fenix as he was extremely pissed off because Fenix just told him about it now.

“You motherfucker, why didn’t you tell me before we did all this shit?” Cain shouted loudly like a madman as he tried to charge at Fenix but was being held on by Nix.

Cain crashed out for a few minutes as he vented everything out at Fenix while Fenix was awkwardly standing there looking at Cain as he didn’t know what to do.

His defense was that he tried to tell Cain before, but he was immediately being sent to the beast space and ordered to make the medicinal liquids and pills.

Cain breathed haggardly as his mouth tired after cursing Fenix for a few minutes without stopping at all.

After taking a rest for a minute, Cain extended his hand to Fenix. “Where are your treasures?”

“They’re all here, My Lord.” Fenix took off his bracelet from his wrist and handed it to Cain with both hands while bowing deeply. “I apologize, My Lord. It was never my intention to hide anything from you.”

‘Oh, so his treasures are in his bracelet.’ Cain thought as he took the red bracelet and looked at it with interest.

He only knew that spatial treasure was always in the shape of a ring.

That’s why he thought that Fenix was a poor bastard since he didn’t see any ring on Fenix’s fingers.

Subsequently, Cain put Fenix into his beast space and said, “As your punishment, refine all of the medicinal liquids or pills that you can from the treasures that we got from the Huo Family. Don’t forget to give a list of alchemy materials that you need in case some materials are missing.”

Cain then added, “You’ll remain in the beast space until you either contribute enough to redeem yourself or I need you again.”

‘Fck, I shouldn’t have told him about this.’ Fenix cursed and regretted his choice to tell Cain about his doubts.

“Let’s go, Nix. I will find a suitable beast for you to fight.” Cain jumped on Nix’s back and patted lightly.

“Fenix is such a dumbfck, isn’t he? Why didn’t he tell me about it earlier? If he’d told me earlier, we wouldn’t have wasted so much time!” Cain tried looking for validation with Nix being on his side.

“Roar!”

Nix nodded in response and roared before flying away in the direction Cain instructed him.

In Nix’s POV, everything his master said was the truth since he had a blind faith in his master.

After flying for almost an hour, they arrived in a mountain range where Cain checked in the map that this place was filled with beasts of the Lord until Dominator Rank, a really perfect place for Nix to fill up his experience.

As for where Cain got the map, it was given to him by Old Feng when he explained about the top forces and their places.

Cain then instructed Nix to slow down as he activated his scan and ordered the system to modify the setting again since he needed to scan beasts in the Lord Ranks too, as they were the main target.

Unfortunately, he was still in the 24h punishment, so any Nix’s kill would be a waste since he wouldn’t get any rewards from the system.

He even wondered if his reward for his side mission was delayed because of the punishment or if he wouldn’t get his rewards since he was still in the 24h punishment period.

After flying for a few minutes, Cain finally heard a notification that he had been waiting for.
