The Water Python hissed, its forked tongue flicking as it raised its head high, towering like a living column.

A sphere of water began to coalesce around its scales, shimmering with a faint blue glow. The snake’s eyes locked onto Nix, its gaze cold and calculating as it readied itself for the fight.

Nix, unbothered, roared once more, a declaration of dominance that echoed through the forest. He then used his [Ice Spike] and shards of ice materialized in the air above him.

With a burst of force, he unleashed a volley of razor-sharp [Ice Spikes] that shot straight toward the Water Python. Each shard whistled through the air, deadly and precise.

The python reacted swiftly, its [Water Armor] shimmering brighter as it coiled tighter. A thick, translucent layer of water formed around its body like a flowing shield.

When the ice spikes struck, they collided with the armor, breaking apart into icy mist and leaving only shallow gashes along the snake’s scales.

The python, seeing its opportunity, struck back with a fast speed. Its massive tail whipped around with a deep whoosh, aiming for Nix with its [Tail Slap] skill.

The sheer force of the tail’s movement tore through the air, snapping branches and splitting the ground where it passed.

Nix’s reflexes proved superior. With a single beat of his wings, he shot upward into the sky, the python’s tail slamming into the ground where he had stood just moments before. A shockwave spread through the earth, rocks and soil erupting from the impact.

Hovering mid-air, Nix’s body began to glow with frost once more.

Nix roared again, and a violent blizzard materialized around the battlefield. A vortex of snow and freezing winds engulfed the Water Python, obscuring it from view. The temperature dropped sharply, frost forming over the surrounding trees and earth.

Inside the storm, the python hissed angrily. Its body slithered through the snow with growing difficulty as frost began to stick to its scales, slowing its movements. Yet, the python was relentless.

Through sheer willpower, it gathered water energy in its jaws and launched a retaliatory attack.

A cannon-like stream of pressurized water burst forth from the python’s mouth, cutting through the icy storm like a blade.

Nix veered to the side just in time, the water blast narrowly grazing his armored flank.

Despite his speed, a small section of frost armor shattered from the hit, sending shards of ice to the ground below.

Nix’s wings flared wide as his chest expanded, glowing with icy energy. He opened his mouth and unleashed a torrent of frost.

The Ice Breath hit the python head-on, a freezing mist that spread over its body, crystallizing the water armor and locking it in place.

The Water Python thrashed violently, but the ice spread quickly. Its water armor turned into solid chunks of frozen mass, clinging to its scales and weighing it down.

The python let out a furious hiss, its movements slowing even further under the encroaching frost.

Nix descended like a glacial predator, his claws glowing as they sharpened with frost energy.

Nix dove with blinding speed, his claws striking the python’s exposed flank. The impact was brutal—icy talons ripped into the thick scales, shattering frozen sections of its armor and leaving deep gashes in its flesh.

The python writhed in agony, its tail slamming into the earth reflexively, but it was too slow.

Still unwilling to surrender, the python summoned its remaining energy. With a final desperate hiss, it coiled and swung its tail upward in one last attempt to crush Nix.

But Nix didn’t retreat. Instead, his body shimmered once more as his Frost Armor thickened, a final layer of protection.

The python’s tail connected with a deafening crash, sending shockwaves rippling outward. Nix was forced back slightly, but he roared defiantly, unfazed.

Seeing his chance to end the battle, Nix charged again, frost swirling violently around him. This time, he unleashed his full strength.

Dozens of jagged ice lances shot forward, piercing through the python’s weakened armor and embedding deep into its flesh.

The python’s body trembled as it let out a final, guttural hiss. Its movements slowed… then stopped entirely.

The massive snake collapsed onto the ground, the light in its eyes dimming as the frost fully overtook its body.

The battlefield was silent except for the faint sound of ice crackling. Nix landed gracefully near the python’s body, his wings folding against his sides as he let out a victorious roar that echoed through the trees.

Cain then came to Nix as he stroked his body softly, feeling proud that Nix who was just a small little guy had become this big and strong.

Even though he had never experienced having kids, Cain guessed that this should be the feeling of the parents being proud of their kid for their achievements.
