Chapter 94: Buying Every Beast in the Shop
He had ordered the system to scan the beast shop as he wanted to estimate how many beasts there were in the shop, but he found that even though this shop might have a lot of beasts, the quality of these beasts wasn’t high in his eyes.

“Of course, sir. Please wait a moment.” Li Fenghai bowed before running towards the back of the shop, as he was just a normal person and couldn’t use a transmission token.

Half a minute later, a fat man in his late 30s came with Li Fenghai and greeted him as he cupped his fists politely. “I’m the manager of this place. I heard that you have something important to discuss with me. May I know what it is?”

Cain waved his hand with a smile. “It’s actually nothing much. I want to buy all of the beasts in this store, how much do I owe you?”

The fat man was taken aback when he heard it, as he didn’t believe that someone would buy all of the beasts in the entire store, as there was no case where someone bought all of the beasts in any beast shop since it didn’t make sense.

“Are you joking, sir?” The fat man frowned as he thought that Cain was playing a prank on him or something.

Cain replied casually with a smile. “Do I look like someone who’s joking at the moment? Just count the price roughly and give me the estimate. You’ll see if I’m joking or not at that time.”

“Okay.” The fat man nodded his head and ordered Li Fenghai, “Bring me the inventory list.”

“Big Brother Cain, are you really going to buy all of the beasts in this shop?” Ayla tugged Cain’s sleeve with an excited look as if she already pictured herself that she would be able to play with a lot of beasts in the future.

“Of course.” Cain patted her head softly with a smile.

“Then can I pick another beast in the future?” Ayla asked eagerly, as she wanted to be a strong Beast Master like Cain ever since she watched Nix’s fight.

“No.” Cain shook his head, making Ayla pout unhappily as she puffed her cheek and looked to the side.

He then crouched down and ruffled her hair, “Listen to me. It’s not that I don’t want to give you another beast, but your path to becoming stronger isn’t as a Beast Master. If you truly want to be powerful, we need to find a path that aligns with your potential.”

When she heard it, Ayla’s eyes lit up, and she immediately tilted her head, looking at him with a curious face. “How can I become stronger like you, Big Brother Cain?”

Cain laughed and pinched her cheek. “There are many ways to grow stronger. Since you’re from the fire fox race, one of your best options is to follow a path similar to Uncle Fenix’s.”

“Uncle Fenix?” Ayla tilted her head, intrigued. “Is he really that strong?”

“Go ask him, and don’t underestimate him because he’s much stronger than me.” Cain smiled before looking at Fenix as he wanted to shift the responsibility in explaining it to him.

“Wow! Uncle Fenix, is it true that you’re stronger than Big Brother Cain? I thought he picked you up, just like he did with me..” Ayla asked with an innocent face as she immediately came in front of Fenix.

Cain shook his head helplessly as he thought that this might be the first time Fenix was being underestimated by a little girl that she thought he was being picked up by her big brother like Cain did to her.

“Of course I’m stronger than him. Let alone your big brother, If I claim to be the second strongest in this world, no one would dare to claim first.” Fenix declared smugly as he looked at Ayla with a proud expression.

When Ayla heard it, she immediately felt dejected and came back to Cain.

“Big Brother Cain, did you pick him up because he was being bullied for lying too much?” Ayla sighed and asked Cain with a gloomy expression.

Cain instantly laughed loudly when he heard it, as he didn’t expect this kind of reaction from Ayla.

“Hahahaha! Fenix, is this the first time you’ve been looked down on like this? By a little girl, no less?” Cain put his palm on his face before looking at Fenix with a tear in his eyes as he laughed too much.
