“I do need something else here but with Li Fenghai instead.” Cain said as he looked at Li Fenghai.

He then continued. “Do you want to work with me? Coincidentally, I don’t have a subordinate who could tend these beasts. Don’t worry about the pay because I will pay you handsomely and even help you become a strong beast master. What do you think about it?”

Li Fenghai seemed to hesitate when he heard it since he thought that he would probably leave this city, and this was the thing that made him hesitate.

When the fat man noticed that Li Fenghai seemed to hesitate, he immediately said loudly, “Little Feng… From today onwards, you don’t need to come here again, and this is your salary for the entire year as well as a little bonus for you.”

He then asked his neighbor about his little sister’s whereabouts and found that she was taken away by his older sister to see an alchemist.

He was surprised for a second before dismissing his thoughts and quickly led Cain and the others away, heading towards the alchemist’s place informed by his neighbor.

“What happened? Why did he kick you out?” Li Fenghai asked with a worried expression as he helped Li Meiling stand up.

“Fenghai. What are you doing here? Aren’t you supposed to be still working at this hour?” Li Meilin frowned when she saw her brother, as she thought that something bad might happen.

“I quit my job. Now, I’m working for Young Master Cain.” Li Fenghai pointed at Cain, who was smiling kindly at Li Meilin.

When Li Meilin saw that the one her brother talked about was Cain, she was shocked as she didn’t expect to see him here instead of in the restaurant or the inn.

“Oh, it’s you, sir!” Li Meilin bowed slightly before walking slowly towards Cain.

“Sis Mei, do you know him?” Li Fenghai was confused when he saw that his older sister seemed to know Young Master Cain.

“Well, you could say that he is a regular customer at the place where I work.” Li Meilin answered as she glanced at her brother.

“Yeah, it’s me. I didn’t expect that we would meet here.” Cain responded with a smile.

However, his expression immediately froze when he saw a translucent data panel in front of him as the notification rang in his mind.
