Chapter 503: A Meeting With The God of Mischief
“LOKI, YOU FUCKING BITCH!”
Kevin, Sozin, and all the gods watching Mark’s fight paused in shock. What the hell?
“YOU FUCKING BITCH OF A GOD! IS THIS REALLY THE BEST YOU AND YOUR CHAMPION CAN DO!? THIS IS ALL YOUR CHAMPION AMOUNTS TO!? A FUCKING PIECE OF SHIT THAT IS NO DIFFERENT FROM HIS PATRON GOD! YOU KNOW, I ALWAYS THOUGHT YOU WERE THE WEAKEST OF ALL THE GREAT GODS, AND AFTER THIS, I KNOW IT’S TRUE! JUST LIKE YOUR CHAMPION, YOU’RE NOTHING BUT A COWARD WHO USES BULLSHIT TACTICS TO BEG FOR SCRAPS! CRAWLING AND SNEAKING AROUND LIKE A WORM! NO WONDER THOR IS BETTER THAN YOU!”
Rumble!
Rumble!
Rumble!
The sky rumbled from Mark’s rant before going silent. Through the haze of pain surrounding him, Kevin was barely able to hear what Mark was saying since Mark was shouting so loud, but it was still so shocking that Kevin didn’t even know what to think What the hell was Mark doing!? Does Mark think the gods really care about what mortals do?
Kevin had tried many times to ask Loki why he gave him his powers or why Loki chose him as his champion, but Loki had never bothered to answer him, and Kevin came to the conclusion that the gods just didn’t care what the mortals did in the mortal plane.
But Kevin didn’t know how intertwined Mark was with all the other gods.
More than half the mythological gods were always keeping an eye on Mark at all times, following his exploits and trying to see when he would either become a god or die to one of the powerful opponents he always faced. So, Mark knew right now that even though Loki was not one of the gods that always listened to him, all the other gods that were always watching him definitely heard him!
Up in the celestial place, Sozin was laughing his ass off as he realized what Mark was trying to do! It was obvious to all the gods that Mark was just trying to rile Loki up right now, but it was no less funny to hear what Mark was saying because they couldn’t refute any of it. Loki was the god of mischief, and they all knew how he would sometimes use underhanded tactics to try and overcome Thor. So, hearing Mark say that Thor was better than Loki was like a direct slap in the face for the god of mischief!
They couldn’t believe that a mere mortal would dare to do something like this!

Mark’s face was still set in a blank, hostile look as he stared straight ahead of him. The entire world around him slowly vanished as a dark veil covered everything. Mark knew that even though they were in the ALTERWORLD, that did not mean that gods wouldn’t be able to reach him. The gods all had dimensions of their own that were far stronger than the ALTERWORLD, so breaking the ALTERWORLD and forcing Mark into their own dimension was not going to be difficult at all!

The new landscape that Mark found himself in was dark and eerie. There was a large moon that was already setting on the horizon, only allowing Mark to see half of it. But the moon gave Mark some much-needed light that illuminated the surroundings. There were small rock formations littering the entire landscape for as far as the eye could see, and when Mark looked up, he could see a few unrecognizable creatures with bat wings and large snake-like bodies flying toward the horizon.
Mark allowed his eyes to roam over the landscape as he tried to see where Loki was, and Mark was stunned when he suddenly saw the darkness all around him shift. The darkness rippled and started to move and slither like a living thing, and Mark realized with some shock that that was not darkness at all. It was the body of a large snake! This snake was at least a thousand times larger than Orochimaru!
Its body was so large that even when lying down, the snake still managed to tower over Mark by at least fifty meters. Mark felt his heart rate picking up, and adrenaline surged through his body as his fighter instincts came to life in the face of such a dangerous-looking opponent. The snake let out a loud hiss as it slowly coiled its body around Mark and slithered up into the air to look down at him.
Surprisingly, the snake had the head of a man with black scales covering his cheeks and red, slitted eyes, making the man look more like a serpent. He was a rather handsome man with soft features and long hair that fell down the sides of his face. The face was androgynous, the type that people would not be able to identify as a male or female face at first glance, and if not for the sharp jawline that it had, Mark knew that he would not have been able to tell either. The man’s tongue darted out from his mouth, and Mark saw that it was a large serpent tongue instead of a human one. Mark’s hand tightened into fists as that fighter’s instinct threatened to make him lash out. You have to hold yourself back, Mark. This isn’t a fight you can win even if you tried.
Mark could tell without even needing to read the serpent’s stats with his True Sight skill. This serpent was leaps and bounds, an entire world ahead of him in terms of power. It was the sort of beast that could kill Mark in one strike without even needing to try! Mark might be a battle junkie, but he knew better than to give a god a reason to kill him by attacking first.
And besides, Mark didn’t come here looking for a fight. He came here for something completely different.
The giant snake slithered through the air and came down so that it was facing Mark directly. There were no clouds in the sky, but a crack of thunder echoed from the horizon before a flash of lightning illuminated Loki’s face for a moment and made Mark tighten his fists even more. Just staring at Loki was enough to make Mark cautious.
“You dare to insult me, mortal?”
