Strongest Superhuman System - Chapter 530
Chapter 530: The Weakest Point
[Critical Hit!]
[Sonic Impact!!]
BOOM!
The blow to the monster’s head this time was nothing like Ida’s blow! The monster’s head shot to the side immediately, and Ida cursed as she saw its giant body leaning to the side! It was going to fall over!
Ida quickly got out of there before the monster could fall on her, but the monster grabbed hold of a building at the side and stabilized itself.
[Critical Hit!]
BOOM!
Another hit from its blind spot slammed into the back of its head, and the monster finally lost its footing and fell to a knee! It roared in pain and anger before turning around and activating its laser, blasting wildly and aimlessly around it like a madman! The monster knew that Mark was too small for it to see in all the carnage, so it was going to just destroy everything around it so Mark wouldn’t have anywhere to hide!
Mark clenched and unclenched his fists as he hid himself inside one of the buildings away from the monster’s rampage. This wasn’t the first time Mark was facing off against an Armageddon. Four years ago, when Mark fought the first Armageddon that attacked America, he didn’t know anything about how to fight. He wasn’t a martial artist, and even though he was already very tall for his age, he was still just a child. He was sloppy and allowed the anima to destroy a large portion of America because he couldn’t properly handle some of its attacks. In fact, Mark’s power was so uncontrollable back then that he ended up adding to the damage done to the country.
But even though it was not his best fight, Mark still held the memories from that fight in high regard because they were what helped him grow as a martial artist.
Hit and run.
This was the method that Mark adopted to handle the Armageddon four years ago. Get in, cause as much damage as possible, and then move back and allow the monster to let its guard down before going in again. If you’re lucky, the monster will tire itself out, and you can deal even more damage in less time. If you aren’t lucky, then the monster will chase after you like a bat out of hell and try to kill you once you run, but that was the beauty of hit-and-run tactics. It saved energy, so even if the monster did come after you, you had more than enough energy to avoid it.
Mark just had to—
PHWOOM!
Suddenly, without any warning at all, the Armageddon attacked!
‘Fast!’
Even as he saw the hand flying towards his position, Mark could feel his eyes widen in shock from just how fast it was! How the hell did it even know that he was there!?
You would never think that a monster this large could move this quickly, so it was enough to stun Mark for just a single second! But in the next second, Mark moved!
BOOM!
Mark ran out from behind the large pillar that he was hiding behind, and the monster slammed its hand into the building, destroying a large portion of it and sending it to the ground!
Mark raced across the building passageway and saw the monster following his pathway through the window beside him. Mark grinned at the beast as he suddenly stopped and changed position, blasting out from the window and towards the monster before it could keep up!
BOOM!
Mark’s sudden acceleration destroyed the rest of the building, sending it to the ground and spraying a large amount of dust into the air! Mark slammed into the Armageddon, sending them both crashing back! Anyone who saw the scene wouldn’t even know what to think of it. A man who wasn’t even large enough to fill up the palm of the monster was successfully pushing it back. It looked like a scene straight out of a cartoon, but that was exactly what happened!
The monster stumbled back as it lost its balance and slammed into a building a few hundred meters away! It was about to get to its feet, but a large ice spike flew towards it from a building on the other side of the clearing and slammed into its shoulder, sending it to the ground!
BOOM!
Mark immediately activated his divine skill!
[Achilles Heel] has been activated!
Mark turned his head towards the anima’s body to find any weak spot to target, but he had to immediately stop and move as he saw a large calamity flying towards him in his peripheral! But before he even needed to do anything, the anima vanished from the spot it had been in. Mark was able to see Alec Ben’s silhouette for a second before the anima vanished, so Mark knew that Alec was the one who took it away.
DOON!
Mark felt a massive spike of mana growing from the anima’s chest and he cursed, jumping back as the anima suddenly released a blast of dark mana that surged out from it, spreading across the area! What the fuck was that!? Some sort of mana blast? It’s poisonous!

Mark saw some of the superhumans who had been around the area getting thrown back by the blast, and once they inhaled it, their bodies started to grow weak and part of their skin turned black, like necrosis. Was this some sort of mana poison? Why the fuck does every single anima higher than Eldritch have something like this!? Even that Armageddon I fought before could literally spit poisonous fire!
Mark was already jumping back and just managed to avoid getting hit by the mana blast. Mark now had to find a way to deal with the monster without getting hit by that thing, he couldn’t just run in recklessly. He had to be smart about this.
The anima got to its feet in the brief moment of respite it had, and Mark used that chance to activate the Achilles Heel.
The world blurred into varying shades of grey dotted by red spots in every direction as the weaknesses of the multiple people and anima around were shown to Mark. Now that Mark had leveled up so much, he hoped that he would be able to see the monster’s stats without his system bringing up the prompt asking him to increase his durability or stamina! He really didn’t have the time to start farming for lower creatures right now! He’d already added thousands of points to his stats earlier! It had to work!
Luckily for Mark, the system didn’t bring up the prompt asking him to increase his durability or stamina. Instead, he only felt an intense pain in his eyes as they both turned red from the strain of using the skill on such a powerful opponent. A line of blood dropped from Mark’s right eye, but he just wiped it roughly and focused on the Armageddon to see its weak point.
Once Mark saw what the system detected as the weakest spot on the anima, he cursed his rotten luck! The only spot on the Armageddon that glowed red was the large crystal on its forehead, and Mark could almost feel his annoyance threatening to overwhelm him! That was the one spot on the anima that Mark did not want to go to at all.
