Strongest Superhuman System - Chapter 602
Chapter 602: The Determined Fey
The Angel’s body folded in like paper and went blasting back like a rocket! He slammed into the opposite wall of the banquet hall and did not get back up!
Mark looked from left to right quickly and saw that there were only about five Angels left around him! He was about to finish them all off, but a shout from behind him made him turn around and raise his hand at just the right angle to deflect a spear thrust toward his back! This bitch was still alive!?
Fey was glaring at Mark with pure hatred in her eyes! Blood leaked from a large wound on her forehead, and a small part of her armor had been broken off from Mark’s initial attack, but her spirit was still strong as she stepped forward angrily and sent another thrust toward Mark with the intent of skewering him!
The thrust shot forward with power, and Mark easily deflected it again, only for him to be blindsided by a massive beam of light that shot out from the end of the spear! Mark’s eyes closed instinctively for a moment as the bright light threatened to fry his eyeballs, and Fey quickly used that moment to send another thrust up towards Mark’s lower jaw as she tried to stab up into his brain!
Fey was certain that Mark couldn’t see her, and with how quickly she sent the strike, there was nowhere for Mark to run at all! But Fey felt her eyes widen as Mark’s hand blurred into action, slamming into the side of her spear, breaking it into pieces, and throwing it out from her hands like a toy!
‘What speed! He’s been holding back!?’
The speed that Mark moved with was far higher than what he had been using all this time, and Fey realized in shock that Mark had been holding back a lot when going against them! Mark’s eyes opened as he gained his sight back after a split second, and Fey quickly put her hands up to try and protect herself as Mark’s fist blurred forward!
[Divergent Fist]!!
BOOM!
It was like being hit by an fucking mountain!
Fey had faced off against some of the strongest demons that the demon continent had to offer in her time as a soldier, and she had even been trained by Duke Grant himself, but this punch was greater than anything Fey had ever felt in her life!
BOOM!
Fey slammed into the wall on the other side of the room like a missile and blew through it before slamming into the wall of the next room and through that as well!
Mark watched for a moment and sighed internally when he realized that she was not going to get back up. She was weak. The plan she used against him to try and blind him there was pretty smart, but if you don’t have the speed to back it up, then you shouldn’t be trying something so risky against an unknown enemy.
‘Well, I can’t really blame her since I was just as reckless a few years ago.’
Mark almost felt like laughing while thinking about the recklessness of his younger self when he was still fighting against the anima without any powers, but he shook his head and forgot that. He still had a few more enemies to dispose of.
Mark watched as a few heads poked out from the wall that Fey was blown through, and Mark raised a brow when he saw that it was a group of angels wearing aprons and suits. Mark could only guess that these were the maids and butlers who worked around the castle, and when Mark met any of their eyes, they immediately flinched and scurried away in fear!
“RARGH!”
Clang!
An Angel flew at Mark from the side and brought his sword down with a shout, but Mark raised his gauntlet and blocked it easily before blue light sparked across Mark’s body!
[Lightning Surge]!
BZZZZTTT!!
The Angel screamed in pain as millions of volts shot through his body, and he was thrown back by the attack! He writhed on the floor for a few more moments before his body stopped moving, smoke rising from his charred form.
The remaining soldiers that were still pointing their weapons at Mark — about four of them — all took a step back in fear the moment Mark turned to them. Mark gave them a look, as if daring them to attack him, and he could hear them swallowing as they began to hesitantly take steps back. Mark spoke up.
“If you’re going to attack, then do it. If not, then drop the fucking weapons before you hurt yourselves.”
Mark’s aura flared to life as he glared at them, and one of them felt her legs shake in fear as she took two quick steps back and fell on her ass with a whimper. The other three quickly dropped their weapons as well and raised their hands in surrender. Mark nodded at their decision before he suddenly blurred out of sight, and three thuds echoed through the hall as three bodies dropped to the floor.
The woman who had fallen on her ass turned to her left and saw the three Angels that dropped their weapons lying unconscious beside her, and she felt her legs shaking even more as she realized that Mark had just knocked them out in that split second! She couldn’t even see him move! She didn’t even know what the hell had just happened!
DOOM!
The woman suddenly felt an unparalleled fear grip her heart as a pressure pressed down on her from behind. A hand landed on her shoulder, and she jolted and almost got up to run, but Mark’s strength pressed down on her and prevented her from even moving a muscle as he spoke in a threatening voice.
“Move, and I’ll fucking end you. I’m only going to ask this once, and if you even fucking stutter, then you’ll end up like the others. Are there any other soldiers in this castle?”

“YES! YES! THERE IS ONE!”
The woman had almost stuttered for a moment, but she forced herself to shout instead so she wouldn’t be killed. Mark’s hand on her shoulder pressed down with even more force, and the woman felt her shoulder creak from the pressure! Just how much strength did this man have!? He is a fucking monster!
“Where are they?”
“There’s only one man! He’s an SS-tier named Titus! He’s the strongest soldier in the castle!”
“I asked where.”
“Upstairs! He’s upstairs in the castle tower!”
So there was only one left? Mark narrowed his eyes and looked around him at all the dead Angels before glancing at the hole in the wall where the Angel servants were hiding. A small part of Mark felt tempted to just eliminate all of them and be done with it, but he still had a heart, and he didn’t feel right killing people who had never threatened his life.
Mark could easily kill those he was facing in combat, but these servants were just afraid of him, and from what Mark could feel, even the weakest of them wasn’t up to C rank in the superhuman ranking.
Mark asked the female soldier if they had a dungeon in the castle. It was obvious they would, and he was proven right when the woman gave a shaky nod. Mark then ordered her to round up all of the servants and lead them to the dungeon. If Mark saw even a single servant not in the dungeons, then he was going to kill all of them.
