Chapter 635: Demon In The Castle
Mark gave both the demons and angels a chance to sign for peace, and they threw it in his face. He made sure that he didn’t do anything that would cause problems for that meeting, but the angels came there with the intention of fucking him over. Mark just didn’t care anymore. If the angels wanted to blame someone, then they should blame their fucking king and his stupid advisor for their bullshit demands!
Mark threw the two bodies he had been holding to the side before kicking the third angel into a crowd of soldiers that were running out from the castle gate! The soldier slammed into them and threw some of them to the ground, but they were back on their feet quickly as they started to charge for Mark!
[Divergent Fist]!!
[Sonic Impact: Lightning]!
Lightning raced across the space in front of Mark before a massive sonic wave of air blasted toward the soldiers and threw them back out of formation! Mark bolted towards them faster than anyone could follow and immediately began to decimate them!
Bam!
Bam!
Bam!
Bam!
Bam!
One punch was enough for any one of them! None of them could even stand after encountering Mark! Many of them passed out right on the spot, but some of them were unlucky and died from the intense blows!
“Kill him! Don’t let him get past you!”
“I can’t even reach him! He’s too fast!”
“Shit! Eran is dead! He only hit him once and he died!”
“Try to get his—AGH!”
“Shit! Something grabbed my leg! It’s a chain! No!”
The soldiers were trying their best to hold Mark back, but his sheer strength and technique were just too much for them to keep up with. Their light magic did not work, and they did not have enough skill or power to hold him back. It was an absolute massacre as Mark strong-armed his way through them easily!
Mark finally reached the large gate of the castle and he ran forward with a glare on his face! The soldiers there quickly started to close the door to try and keep Mark out, but Mark jumped into the air and delivered a massive boot towards the gate that tore it off its hinges and threw all the soldiers back!
BOOM!
Mark landed in the pristine hallways of the castle floor, and he allowed his eyes to trail from left to right while giving the soldiers around him a threatening look. The soldiers there were all holding swords and shields, and they had light magic circles active on the shields. But once they saw Mark, it felt like their confidence took a massive blow. Many of them shuffled backward from the oppressive feeling that Mark was putting on them, while others tried their best not to run away as they tightened their hands around their swords.
Mark tightened his gauntlets around his arms and allowed his senses to flow outward as he searched for Arit. Mark sensed her somewhere above him, and he guessed that she was still handling some of the sentries around. It was Arit’s help with the sentries that allowed Mark to get this close to the castle without them ringing the alarm sooner, and Mark told her to retreat once she was done with the sentries so he wasn’t worried about her.
Instead, Mark focused on the soldiers in front of him and rolled his right shoulder before speaking loudly so that everyone could hear him.
“Now listen, I’m not really interested in killing any of you. I came here to speak to your king, so I’ll give you this one chance. Bring me the king and let me speak to him, and I’ll let you all live. How does that sound?”
The angel looked from one person to another curiously while trying to see if anyone would talk. It was obviously not going to happen. They were stationed here to protect the king, so why would they bring the king out for this madman to kill? They weren’t going to do it. But for a moment, they all had the exact same thought of just bringing him out in order to spare their own lives.
It was just for a moment, but Mark could see it.
But then, that moment passed, and they were all back to their hostile selves as they glared at Mark and steeled their nerves for a battle. Mark heard the sound of shouting from outside and guessed that reinforcements were coming in from other parts of the city. Mark took in a deep breath, calmed himself with a sigh, and then he shot forward!
BOOM!
The force of Mark’s movement was enough to send tremors through the ground, destabilizing many of the angels and making them tumble out of their stances! Mark broke through their formation and began to tear through them easily!
“Light Spear!”
A loud shout echoed from in front of Mark, and Mark’s instincts immediately warned him of danger to his right! Mark swiped his hand across the air and slammed the light spear out of the way before looking to see who had shot it! It was a large man holding a book in his hand and pointing a magic circle at Mark.

Mark was surprised that this light spear actually felt threatening. Normally, Mark would be able to ignore all light spells and allow them to dispel once they made contact with him. It showed how strong the light spell was for it to make him look towards it!
“Light spear!”
The man shouted again as he released ten light spears towards Mark, and Mark dashed to the side before dashing forward and heading straight for the man! Mark swiped his hand to the side once he got close enough and destroyed all of the spears in one go. He stretched his hand out to grab the man, but he was shocked when the man suddenly jumped back while tearing his garment apart to show a large crystal attached to his chest!
Mark’s eyes widened in surprise.
‘Is that a mana crystal!?’
The man laughed loudly as he poured all of his mana into the crystal, and at the next moment, the crystal immediately exploded in Mark’s face!
KA-BOOM!
The angels around all stood still and watched with bated breath to see what the outcome of the suicidal action would be. They knew that there was no way the man who detonated the bomb would survive, but their only wish was that the man managed to somehow take Mark down with him!
But as the dust clouds cleared up, the soldiers all felt their hopes go down the drain as they saw Mark standing and waving his hand in front of his face nonchalantly with a golden hue surrounding him.
“Koff! Koff! Wow, so people do this shit here too? I thought only terrorists back on Earth did stuff like this.”
