Chapter 787: Absolute Domination
Hao put his hand up to his mouth and shouted out to the dragon in Chinese!

“Dual Flame!”

The dragon immediately understood what Hao was planning to do, and it reared its head back and bulged its throat as it prepared a fire breath! The Bishop noticed that there was going to be another barrage of fire from the dragon, and she didn’t pay it any mind since she was already used to tanking the flames! Instead, she turned her attention to Mark to make sure that he didn’t sneak up on her! But once the Bishop turned away, she was shocked to see the entire sky light up in flames as both Hao and his dragon reared their heads back and fired columns of fire at the Bishop!

The Bishop quickly put her hair up around her and used it as a shield as she felt an intense searing heat from the flames that they released!

Hao knew that the Bishop was already used to the intensity of the Dragon’s flames, but the Bishop had no idea that the dragon wasn’t the only one that could create flames! Hao’s blessing as a summoner allowed him to not only call on the dragon to help him whenever he needed it but also allowed him to control the same level of fire that the dragon could! This meant that the Bishop was facing twice as much heat as she did before!

The Bishop felt like she was getting cooked inside the cocoon of hair that she created for herself, and after a few seconds, she got irritated by what they were doing and swung her hand to the side in a wide arc!

WOOSH!

Ratatatatat!

The Bishop’s hair flung out in an arc that followed her movement, and it suddenly formed into multiple sharp needle-like strands that turned towards Hao and his dragon and fired off at them! The sudden attack made both Hao and the dragon stop their flames as they dodged out of the way of the needles, and the Bishop’s eyes narrowed as she finally got some room to breathe properly! But that relief was short-lived as she suddenly felt something appearing from behind her!

DEATH!

The Bishop turned around in shock and the first thing that entered her vision was Mark’s fist!

[Divergent Hit]!!

[Sonic Impact]!!

Mark’s fist flew straight for the Bishop’s face, and the Bishop immediately brought up her hair and formed it into twenty flat walls that she put between her and Mark! The Bishop angled her body inwards and squeezed her legs up to her chest while holding them just before the punch hit the walls!

BOOM!

A massive sonic boom echoed through the region as Mark’s punch tore through all of the walls and slammed into the Bishop behind them! The Bishop was sent flying through the air like a rocket and she slammed into the ground and bounced off before slamming into a mountain on the other side of the island and tearing through that as well! It wasn’t until she had torn through more than ten small mountains that she finally stopped and released a wheezing cough before she started to laugh!

“Hahahahaha! It’s really him! He’s really the KING! I thought I was going to die!”

The Bishop had never taken a hit from Mark before in her life, but a part of her told her that this particular hit wasn’t something anyone could tank without being completely pulverized! If not for the hair walls that she had put between her and Mark, then she was sure that she would not have made it out of there with only a small injury like this! The Bishop looked down at her hand and saw that the one that Mark hit had been bent out of shape. The Bishop frowned, and in the next moment, the arm quickly started to crack back into place before it snapped straight back into its original form and healed completely.

BOOM!

The Bishop wasn’t even done healing her hand when she felt an enormous amount of pressure press down on her! She looked up and saw Mark heading down for her at intense speed with his hands raised like a hammer, and she immediately dashed to the side and avoided the blow that Mark aimed for her!

KA-BOOM!

The ground under where she had been standing exploded in a rain of debris and dust! An intense tremor traveled through the ground that could be felt for more than ten kilometers in every direction, and the remaining trees that were still standing began to lean from side to side as their roots were slowly being pulled out from the ground!

The Bishop was running like her life depended on it, and she only heard the sound of massive explosions behind her as Hao sent fireball after fireball to try and get her!

The Bishop turned her head to the side to try and see where Mark was, and she was shocked when she felt something shoot through her air and grab her by the hand!

“A chain!?”

The Bishop exclaimed in surprise as she felt what it was, and she immediately slammed her hair into the ground to prevent the chain from pulling her forward like it was trying to! She sent some hair out towards where the chain was coming from, and she was shocked when she felt her hair destroy a large tree in the distance through the dust! That meant that it wasn’t Mark who was holding onto the other end of the chain! Where is he!?

PHWOOM!

The dust in front of the Bishop suddenly split in two, and the Bishop’s eyes widened as she saw Mark dash out from inside it like some sort of phantom! He was this close to her all this time! She shouldn’t have stopped!

The Bishop immediately retracted all of the hair that she sent out and formed the strongest shield that she could! She still remembered the intense pain from the last punch that Mark gave her, and she wasn’t going to risk anything this time!

Mark grabbed the Fang and used it to propel himself forward before he corrected his body in the air and delivered the most devastating punch!

Mark had learned a long time ago how to use the [Sonic Impact] to deliver punches through defense and attack the internal organs of his enemies. This allowed Mark to bypass a lot of physical defenses. But since it was something that worked only in the physical sense, as far as mana defenses went, Mark didn’t have any form of skill that worked by bypassing defenses that were entirely made up from mana or reinforced using mana!

This meant that Mark’s only way to bypass these mana defenses was by using his regular punches to tear through them and then using the Sonic Impact to get through the physical defenses.

But that was no longer the case. After his fight with Megumi, Mark gained a deeper understanding of Mana than what he had before. This allowed Mark to not only gain a new way of defending himself during a fight, but also allowed Mark to think up a new method of attacking that involved using the new skill that he learned!
