Strongest Superhuman System - Chapter 805
Chapter 805: Hurry Up
Genshi had gotten off the phone with some other directors from various countries, and he confirmed that there had been anima sightings all around the world recently. The anima were appearing from nowhere, and even though the numbers weren’t enough to overwhelm the Superhuman Alliance agents, it was a sign that this wasn’t an issue happening in Russia alone. It was happening all over the world, but everyone was only focusing on Russia because of how large the scale was over there!
America had always been a hotspot for anima appearances, and now that there were thousands of anima appearing in Russia, Henry knew that one of the places that would most likely have the anima appearing next would be America!
The worst part of it all was the fact that Mark Vanitas wasn’t even in the country yet. What would happen if something as strong as Armageddon showed up? Who was going to take care of it? Genshi couldn’t trust the superhumans that they left behind to be able to handle it alone! The only ones that might be able to do anything about it were the Alphas, but half of them were here, and the remaining Alphas were just not powerful enough!
“Genshi. What the hell is going on?”
Mark Vanitas appeared from the door leading to Genshi’s office with three Superhuman Alliance agents around him. Mark looked from Genshi to the other people in the room with him, and once he saw the looks of confusion on their faces, Mark knew that they also had no idea what was going on.
Henry sighed with relief when he saw Mark, and he immediately stood and started to talk to him.
“Mark, you need to get back to America as soon as possible. There is a jet waiting for you on the other side of Tokyo. You should be back in the country in no time!”
Mark only glanced at Henry for a moment before he turned away and asked Genshi his question again. What was happening in Russia?
Genshi grunted and said that he didn’t know! The situation was out of control, and they weren’t in the loop about what was happening because the communication was down!
Luna and Arit were also with Mark, and Mark turned his head slightly when he heard the sound of the door opening to let another person into the room. Megumi was already in the Superhuman Alliance building when everything happened, so it was easy for her to make her way here quickly. Megumi glanced from Mark over to Genshi, and Genshi raised a hand and told her not to even ask anything. He had no idea what was going on.
“So who can tell us what is going on?”
Luna asked this question while looking toward Henry, and Henry said that the only person who could tell them what was happening was the head of the Russian Superhuman Alliance, and since the man was in custody, they had to wait until he was willing to talk.
Genshi had been trying to get in contact with some of his other associates since this started, but there had been no response. The only assumption they could make now is that they were dead.
BOOM!
Suddenly, a massive explosion rocked the area outside of the Superhuman Alliance building! Mark turned around quickly and dashed out from the open door before anyone else, and once he got there, his eyes widened in surprise at what he saw. The building was on fire. A bomb had gone off at the entrance of the building, and the people that were standing there calling on the Superhuman Alliance to answer their questions had been stuck right in the middle of the explosion!
BOOM!
BOOM!
BOOM!
More bombs went off at various parts of the country as smoke and plumes began to rise from the ground into the air. Mark felt his mind whirling at max speed as he tried to figure out what the hell was going on.
It was obvious that this was the work of the syndicate.
Mark still remembered the words of the Superhuman Killer that he heard a long time ago. The man said that the country where the syndicate was most active was Japan. Does that mean the syndicate was no longer trying to hide? They were finally starting to show themselves?
If that was true, then it had to also be true for all the countries all over the world.
The syndicate had done this on purpose. They set up their operations in a way that would take up the time for all the strongest superhumans in the world, taking them away from their countries and making it harder for them to respond to attacks!
Russia had been the hotspot they chose to start from because of how secluded it was, but they were also going to start popping up in Japan because it was one of their main bases.
…
Mark was right about the syndicate’s plan for the tournament. The syndicate had roped the Japanese president into bringing as many of the world’s superhumans to one place in order to make sure their countries would be left unprotected, and now that they knew all the superhumans were here, they were planning to stop them from leaving back to their countries using a massive swarm!
Inside the lodging where the superhumans stayed for the tournament, Pat was still trying to figure out everything about the syndicate when he heard a beeping sound echoing from the screen in front of him. The area around the map shone a red light, and Pat’s eyes widened in shock as he realized what was about to happen! Anima were showing up here!
Pat immediately grabbed his comm and one of his laptops before dashing out of the room at the same time that a massive explosion resonated through the middle of the lodge!
BOOM!
ROARRR!

The roar of an anima echoed through the lodge together with the explosion, and Pat cursed in his heart as he pushed a large plank off his body. The first thing Pat did once he realized that he wasn’t injured was to check and make sure that his laptop was intact and still running. Thankfully, it was, and Pat pushed himself back to lean against one of the walls of the building that was still standing.
All the superhumans in the building survived the explosion, and they had already started to engage the anima that appeared from the forest, so Pat didn’t have to worry about that. Pat put out a call to Mark while turning back to the system and continued deciphering the hieroglyphics.
[Pat. What happened?]
“There was a little explosion. Almost fucking killed me, but I managed to get out before it set off. There are anima-human hybrids in the forest near the lodging. I couldn’t detect them because they didn’t transform until the explosion went off. The superhumans are taking care of them though.”
ROARRRR!
BOOM!
The sound of another explosion going off alerted Pat to the fight happening very close to him, and he had to scoot a little to the side to make sure his body was being covered by some blocks so that the anima wouldn’t be able to see him.
[I’m on my way. Stay there.]
“Sure thing. You don’t need to worry, though. The superhumans are—”
“Shit! There’s an Eldritch here! Move it to the other side! Don’t head straight for it!”
One of the superhumans fighting against the creature that had appeared suddenly shouted in a language Pat couldn’t understand. It sounded like Japanese, but even without understanding the words, Pat could tell it wasn’t anything good.
Pat immediately spoke up again.
“Okay, maybe you should hurry up a little. I think I might die if I leave my life in the hands of these idiots.”
