Strongest Superhuman System - Chapter 806
Chapter 806: Splitting Up
In the Superhuman Alliance building, Luna had stepped forward and used her abilities to put out the flames that were surging across the building from the explosion.
The other explosions around the country were already being looked into, and many superhumans were making their way there to take care of the casualties.
Mark manifested the [Gauntlets of the Thunder God] as he prepared to leave the building.
“Wait! You need to get back to America! There are attacks happening there as well!”
Henry shouted at Mark before he could leave, and Mark shrugged off the hand Henry used to hold him before turning to glare at Henry.
“If you’re so worried about America, why aren’t you in a hurry to go there?”
Henry almost wilted under Mark’s intense stare, and Mark clicked his tongue and turned away from him before turning to Luna.
“I need to go find Pat and get him out of here. Go to America and help out with the attack happening there. The other Alphas and Alec Ben are heading back already, so they’ll be able to help you out.”
Luna nodded once she heard Mark’s suggestion. Mark didn’t want to waste time by telling Luna to stay here with him, so it was better for her to go back since she was the second strongest superhuman in America. Once Mark got Pat and made sure things in Japan were settled, then he could head over to America as well.
Mark also knew that the Syndicate was going to be more active in Japan than they were going to be in America. The only reason why America was attacked so frequently in the past was because of Salazar and his stupid plans, so now that he was gone, Mark knew there wasn’t any anima that would show up that the superhumans there wouldn’t be able to handle.
Luna kissed Mark before she told Henry to lead her to the jet he prepared. Henry was still hesitant, and he tried to get Mark to go along with Luna again, but Luna told Henry that they didn’t have time for his bullshit. The Vanguard Guild was going to take care of things in America, so there was no need for Mark to head over there.
Henry realized that he was not going to be able to convince Mark to go back, so he just decided to stop trying and he started leading Luna to the Jet. Mark turned down to Arit and told her to go with Luna, but Arit frowned and stepped close to him.
“I’m staying here with you.”
Arit was not going to budge on this decision, and Mark could see it in her eyes. There was no way he would be able to get her to leave. So Mark decided not to try and force her, and he just told her to go and make sure that Jeanne was okay in the hospital. There were a lot of injured superhumans in the hospital, so they needed to protect it.
BOOM!
Megumi blasted off the ground in the direction of the strongest anima that she could sense, and Arit leaned up and kissed Mark before she spread her wings from behind her while transforming. Arit took off into the sky and vanished into the distance.
Mark immediately began to head for the lodging where Pat was. The Superhuman Alliance building was only a few kilometers away from the lodging, so it didn’t take Mark more than three minutes before he could see the lodge in the distance! There were various anima around the lodge, and the superhumans there were trying their best to stop them.
Most of the superhumans that were in the lodge were either non-combatants who were waiting for their injured countrymen to be healed by Jeanne before leaving the country, or combatants who weren’t prepared to leave the country yet. Most of the superhumans that were in Japan for the tournament had already begun to leave the country to go back to their countries. The threat of the Syndicate and what they could do didn’t allow the superhumans to relax since they felt like their country might be the next one to be attacked.
As Mark got close to the lodging, he saw that the building had been reduced to burning cinders as a great fire spread around it. There were multiple anima attacking superhumans in the region, and Mark just allowed his eyes to roam over the terrain from the air as he tried to figure out where Pat was.
‘There!’
Mark finally found Pat resting behind one of the pillars that were still standing in the lodging. Pat was still typing away on his laptop even with the sound of fighting and explosions echoing from around him, and Mark narrowed his eyes into a glare as he saw that there were some anima heading toward the area where Pat was!
The [Fangs that Link the Heavens] flew out from Mark’s arm and shot towards the anima that was closest to Pat, pulling it away, and Mark used the momentum of the pull to propel himself forward!
Mark landed on the ground in front of the anima horde, shot his right hand out, and slammed it into the body of the anima beside him!
[Lightning Surge]!
A blast of lightning surged through the body of the anima. It was a large rhino-based anima that was only a calamity class, so when the lightning ran through it, it was completely cooked from the inside and reduced to a crisp as it fell to the ground! The anima beside it immediately tried to attack Mark, but Mark caught its large arm and pulled!
SQUELCH!
The anima’s arm ripped off its shoulder, and Mark turned around and used the torn arm to smash the anima in the face, tearing its head off in one swing!
BOOM!
The other anima around felt fear course through their bodies when they saw Mark turn his eyes to them while still holding the torn hand of their brethren, and a voice spoke up from behind Mark.
“You know, I kind of forgot how fucking terrifying you are when you fight.”

Pat was watching Mark tear the anima apart from behind, and he couldn’t help but be impressed and terrified at the same time. Pat knew that Mark was a force to be reckoned with on the battlefield, but Pat had never seen Mark fighting in real life. The only time he saw it was on the screen. The blood, gore, and sheer aura that surrounded Mark while he was ripping through the anima like they were nothing was enough to make even Pat a bit scared.
Mark turned and gave Pat a once-over to make sure he was okay. There were some injuries on him that Mark noticed, and Mark used the [Healing Aura] skill to heal them quickly so that Pat was as good as new. Once Mark was sure that the injuries were healed enough not to matter anymore, he told Pat to stay where he was.
“I won’t take too long.”
Pat nodded while still typing on his laptop, and Mark started to walk his way into the forest to clear out the rest of the anima. The anima in the forest were mainly Calamity and Disaster classes with a few Eldritch class anima mixed in as well, so when Mark used his Taunting skill to lure them in, they didn’t do anything as their rationality was erased, and they surged straight for Mark like flies to honey!
Mark put his hand up, and his gauntlets began to crackle with electricity as he summoned the wrath of heaven!
[Storm Chaser]!
