Chapter 824: The Bermuda Triangle
Pat had told the superhumans that he still didn’t know what exactly was underneath the ocean.
The writings and hieroglyphics that Pat translated said that there was a giant structure under the water that was the main base of the syndicate, but other than that, Pat wasn’t able to decipher anything else.
And since the structure was so far underwater, Pat wasn’t able to penetrate that deep with the waves from the satellite to use the MDS and find out what was down there.
So, in a way, the superhumans were going into a blind battle, and the only way they would know what was down there was until they actually faced it.
Luna was thinking about how they were going to go about this.
Luna would be the first person to take action in the coming battle since water was her domain and she was the strongest child of Neptune alive, so she would have to be the one to take charge.
“We’re one minute out! Get ready!”
The pilot at the front of the plane shouted an announcement to the superhumans and Luna stood up from her seat in the front of the jet and started to head towards the door that opened at the side of the plane to look out. There was a massive amount of air pressure, and the dark sea below her made the already dangerous mission seem even more ominous and dangerous by comparison.
Luna wished they could wait for the sun to rise before they started this, but Mark’s plan was to finish both the syndicate and the Anima King at the same time to make sure neither had a chance to regroup. It was a sound plan, and Luna knew that if they were going to attack the syndicate, it would be best to do it when they least expected it.
“We’re in the triangle! R-R-Ready f-f-for landing! Sh-shit! It’s messing wi-with the tech!”
The pilot in the front of the plane immediately began to struggle with the plane once they entered the Bermuda Triangle. The magnetic field that surrounded the triangle was already starting to mess with the communication signal and there was a massive wind picking up once the planes got into the area, making the aircraft wobble and shake dangerously!
This was the natural state of things in the Bermuda Triangle! The frequent thunderstorms and unpredictable magnetic, electric, and atmospheric conditions made for some of the most dangerous air and water space for any craft to move through!
If this had been a plane that was carrying regular humans, then the entire plane would have already started to go down to the depths of the ocean below, but Luna already expected this to happen, and she turned around to see all the other superhumans getting off their seats!
Alec Ben nodded to Luna and Luna released a breath to calm herself before she jumped out from the door of the plane!
The superhumans all began to fall out of the plane after her and Luna raised her head to watch as superhumans also fell out from all the other aircrafts and started to head down to the water below.
Luna made sure that the superhumans who fell from the plane first were all people who had blessings from Neptune, Luna recognized many of them from when she was in the Neptune guild.
She angled her body downward before putting a hand out and taking control of the water around her!
WOOSH!
A wind blew across the surface of the water as Luna’s mana took hold of the molecules of water, and at the next moment, the sea began to freeze over!
Luna’s mana surged across the water like a tidal wave, binding the molecules together faster than the eyes could follow! In less than ten seconds, Luan had already frozen more than two kilometers of ice in a wide disk!
The other superhumans who had the same ability as Luna also put their hands out and started to freeze the water over! They weren’t able to do it as quickly as Luna was, but all the help was appreciated as they slowly formed a large platform that was capable of holding all of them on the water!
The superhumans with blessings from Neptune layered their constructs one over the other, and by the time they got to the water, they had formed a thick, unsinkable area of ice that stretched more than ten kilometers in radius!
BOOM!
BOOM!
BOOM!
BOOM!
BOOM!
The superhumans that had been freefalling all landed at various parts of the construct, and the superhumans with blessings from Neptune immediately started to move towards the edge of the ice structure before they all put their hands out!
“Follow my lead!”
Luna shouted out to all the other superhumans there as she put her hand out towards the water again!

Pat had told them that this was the location where he was certain the structure was, so Luna knew that she didn’t need to go searching for long. She only had to go down in order to get a feel for the structure. The waters were turbulent and there was a massive wave crashing across the ice platform as the sea raged and bashed against their bodies, but Luna ignored all of that as she sunk her mana deeper into the water, feeling for anything foreign object in the water that would give her an idea of where the syndicate base was!
The silence of the night echoed through the region with the sea’s roar being the only thing that was interfering with the silence.
Alec Ben watched with slightly furrowed brows as Luna closed her eyes and sent her mana out. Everyone was silent for a long time, trying their best not to distract Luna’s concentration, and it wasn’t until five minutes later that Luna’s eyes widened and glowed with power as she poured her mana out with a shout!
“I have it!”
The structure was large!
That was the first thought that came to Luna’s mind once she felt it with her mana! The water around it was displaced, and that was the only reason why she was able to tell how large it was! It was freaking huge! Like a city sitting at the bottom of the ocean!
Luna grabbed hold of all the water around the structure and started to pull! The water obeyed her and tried to bring the structure up, but even Luna did not have the power needed to carry something like this!
It was like trying to use a tree to move a giant boulder. You would need a great amount of torque to get it to move, but once it started rolling, it would be able to keep going on its own! Luna needed that torque before she was able to get the ball rolling, and that was exactly what the other children of Neptune were there for!
All the children of Neptune put out their mana and followed the trail that Luna’s mana left behind to guide them! They didn’t need to do as much work as Luna because she had already done the difficult task of heading all the way down to the bottom of the water with her mana to find the structure, and it was easy for them to get down there and find exactly where the structure was!
Once they had a hold on the structure, every one of them pulled at the same time! The intense pull from their combined efforts forced the structure to shift and Luan shouted out to them again!
“One more!”
The children of Neptune pulled up one more time and that was when Luna felt the structure start to budge like a planet shifting out of orbit!
