Chapter 832: Relentless
The Anima King kicked Mark away and flipped back before sending another blast of mana at Mark with his right hand! The mana was easily deflected and Mark ran across the broken building under them, avoiding another two blasts of mana before he disappeared into a crack in the building!

The Anima King absentmindedly healed his broken left arm before he brought his hands together and formed his mana into hundreds of small balls that he then threw in the direction Mark had gone!

BOOM!

The balls all exploded on impact with the ground, reducing everything in front of and around the Anima King to nothing!

This forced Mark to rush out from under the rubble he had hidden himself in and Mark put out his hand as he saw the Anima King preparing another blast of pure mana!

WHOOM!

The mana surged straight for Mark and Mark activated [Aegis of Ares]!

BOOM!

The blast slammed against his shield and Mark was stunned when he saw the shield actually shiver from the impact! A ripple passed through the shield and Mark was forced to take the shield down to avoid wasting mana the moment the blast passed!

PHWOOM!

The Anima King dashed towards Mark and Mark caught the punch he threw before countering with a quick one-two to the Anima King’s kidney that sent shockwaves through his body!

Boom! Boom!

The Anima King was forced to let go and Mark got into a classic boxer stance as he capitalized on the close proximity!

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

The punches flashed out from Mark’s fist faster than the Anima King could follow and all three punches slammed into the Anima King’s jaw with insane precision! The Anima King felt his already weak jaw fracture again from the massive blows, but a surge of mana from him immediately forced the jaw to repair itself before he roared and slammed his hand into the ground!

WHOOM!

KA-BOOM!!

A massive blast of mana shot into the ground, throwing everything in the area away as an explosion rang through the air! Mark was forced to jump back to avoid getting blinded by the blast and he had his hands raised in front of him in case there was any sneak attack from the Anima King, but Mark was more shocked when he suddenly saw the night sky getting brighter!

Mark looked up and saw the Anima King with his hand drawn back, and on his outstretched palm was a giant ball of pure, super-condensed mana! The ball was as large as a freaking car and Mark knew that if he was hit by that, then it was fucking over for him!

Mark wasn’t able to move out of the way because of how quickly the Anima King was coming toward him, so Mark did the next best thing! Mark planted his feet with insane force and once the Anima King thrust his hand downwards, Mark shot an arm up and deflected the hand to the side in a perfect parry!

The ball of pure super-condensed mana slammed into the ground beside Mark, and the next moment, the world exploded!

BOOOOOOMMM!!!

Everything for more than two kilometers was suddenly thrust into the air as a massive ball of fire the size of a city erupted from the explosion! The buildings, cars, corpses, and roads were all broken into pieces and lifted through the air, and Mark and the Anima King were no exceptions as they were also thrown up into the air from the explosion!

Mark felt his ears ringing and a slight headache forming from the side of his head that had received the brunt of the explosion. There was something like vertigo filling his body as he flew through the air uncontrollably and as Mark closed his eyes, he gritted his teeth and forced his mind back into the game before opening his eyes and locking them on a large building that the Anima King had thrown at him!

BOOM!

Mark sent a punch straight at the building, destroying it to pieces and allowing the pieces to fly by him before he grabbed a car beside him and threw it at the Anima King!

Mark flipped and slammed his feet into a building that was free-falling beside him before blasting off after the car!

The Anima King used his mana blast to destroy the car before it could even get close, but Mark was right there behind it and he pulled his hand back and delivered a massive punch through the car!

BOOM!

The Anima King put up a defense again, and this time he managed to redirect Mark’s punch to the side to make sure that it didn’t do as much damage to his hand as before, but Mark had already expected that and from behind him, Mark pulled the [Fangs that Link The Heavens] and wrapped it around the King before turning fluidly and sending him through multiple houses that had been falling through the sky!

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

The Anima King twisted his body in the air more than five hundred meters away and used one of the houses as a foothold before shooting toward Mark again!

BOOM!

Mark pulled his hand back as he saw the Anima King doing the same and their fists met in the middle in a resounding blow!

BOOM!

The force of it sent ripples through Mark’s body, but Mark had the upper hand since he was the more physically gifted of the two of them! Once Mark saw that he had the leverage needed against the Anima King, Mark used that to his advantage and pulled back from the punch to make the Anima King fall forward in surprise! Mark turned, pulled his hand back, and his fist blurred forward!

BOOM!

The punch clapped into the face of the Anima King, rattling his brain like a fucking pinball!

Mark grabbed his arm and roared as he turned around and threw the Anima King into a building that was free-falling behind them, and the Anima King wasted no time as it grabbed the building and swung it in an arc before throwing it at Mark!

BAM!

Mark was sent flying back like a ragdoll and he crossed over the boundary of the continent, towards the ocean, and skipped over the water a few times before slamming into the water with a massive splash! Mark saw a bright light above him and he knew that it was the Anima King charging up another one of his bombs!

Mark immediately commanded the [Fangs that Link The Heavens] to wrap around the Anima King’s leg and drag him down before the King released another one of his mana bombs!

The Anima King splashed into the water with the bomb still in his hand a moment later, and it exploded!

KA-TWOOOM!!

The underwater explosion forced the water to bulge into a massive ball and then the entire ball exploded outwards like a bubble before it slammed back into the water with enough force to send a massive typhoon surging through the ocean and towards the land!

The two combatants didn’t bother to look at what their actions had done to nature as they continued their battle even underwater! Their movements were slick and unimpeded by the water and there was no need for either one of them to surface anytime soon as they both had the lung capacity to stay underwater for hours if they needed to!

Finally, Mark found an advantage and managed to kick the Anima King out of the water and used his Fang to latch onto the Anima King’s leg and follow after him! The Anima King was slowly starting to get tired and Mark could tell from the amount of mana he had been using all this while that the Anima King was getting weaker!

Mark didn’t know if it was because he was getting more powerful or if the Anima King was losing mana quickly because of the number of mana blasts he had used in the past few minutes, but Mark wasn’t going to look a gift horse in the mouth as he continued his relentless assault against the Anima King!
